Why saltwater truckers dump water on the roads? They do it in our area and I was wondering if you might know why
The only time I did that 4,000 a week was in Desert Storm War
Link to apply
Hey can I ask you a few questions I’m willing to pay as well!! As a owner operator can I work Under someone water hauling company and make my own schedule? And is it still money in if?
Lots of overtime and double pay and like 100 hrs a week. 14 hrs days 6 days a week or 7. Yes making that is possible with long hrs and hard work obviously. It’s not that simple.
Man I make more then you at high end retail security and dont have to travel to middle of nowhere. Maybe you should look into doing another job in the oilfields. I thought guys in the oil fields made good bank.
What does your setup typically weigh empty?
The only reason I am doing that is to get my experience and it allows my dog
I’m going to train with western express. Flat bed company. I start on December 16 for training.
You still hauling water? I think it’s going to get busy with Trump’s drill, baby, drill. I have a truck that is capable and want to buy a trailer, but will rent until I can buy. I am willing to go to the work, and move if necessary. I have a CDL, truck and tanker endorsement. I am ready to work and sleep in my truck. I also have a second truck and driver. My second truck will need locking rear differential, which it doesn’t have yet.
As an owner operator gross? Or as an employee W-2?
I love safety nothing like chalking tires on completely flat ground in Texas
$21 an hour what a freaking joke
Awesome informative video, thanks man.
can u recommend some companies to start with ? have my own truckl
what company u work for and how do u apply ? these guys never answer when i call..
What’s the normal negative pressure while loading up
I thought there would be better money in fluid hauling down there! $24\hr isn't as good as I thought it would be. Even 16 hrs a day is only like $400 ?! Up here in Canada we haven't had raises in 15 years and we're around $40/hr -$55/hr depending on location. Our dollar is worth less sits probably around $27-$40 per hour in American dollars. For some reason I always thought you guys did way better than us. At the end of the day it probably works out to the same, today's pay in 2024= Barley enough to survive. Even working 300+ hours per month like I do. I work 10 on 4 off and do 160 hours in those 10 days. We can legally drive 14 and be on shift 16 total.

Thanks for the education 💪
Can you be my mentor training Truck Driver? I’ve been driving five years and also I am diesel mechanic.

Can anyone tell me which school or company that willing to obtain cdl license can anyone tell please or about North Dakota
Funny, we old timers used to say "Keep it between the lines" I like your adaptation to "Keep it between the ditches",.. nice, thank you for the videos, I'm having a few conversations with friends out there for changing from OTR to oilfield work after the holidays, maybe I'll see you then.
There is absolutely no way i would run for an o/o. Not even in a great freight market 😂
How do you find Companies in Texas that hires hopper bottom sand drivers
Hi, I'm an independent O/O, driving OTR in the upper Midwest, WI, IL, IA, and surrounding states. My truck is 2016 Volvo sleeper, no debt. I would like to talk to you regarding my options in Texas for an O,/O. My email is TruckerAndy2021 at the big Google email. I would sincerely appreciate your advice. Thank you in advance, Andy.
Good video, thank you
Everyone wants experience.. knocking out 2 birds with one stone with tfs
I purchased an ex-military (semi-truck) office trailer and am converting it into a tiny house/office trailer. I will need to purchase a piece of land with utilities and a place to park my truck and trailer near the oil fields. I love the idea of preparing food and avoiding eating out and saving money. No motels, if possible too, although I will have the expense of purchasing a piece of commercial land and fixing it up, however, when I am done driving, I will repurpose the land for a different business, or rent or sale it.
Question, do I need a Haz Mat endorsement to operate a vacuum trailer? I have my CDL with Tanker endorsement but do not have Haz Mat yet. I plan on getting it, but if I can do the vacuum trailer without it, that would help me get started sooner, and with less stress. I will be working out of New Mexico. Another question I have is, do the brokers care when we work? I would like to have flexibility as to when I run, for example if I get tired, I would prefer to sleep, and when I am well rested, I would rather start then and drive until tired again. When hauling silage I had to run so many loads per week but the boss didn’t care if I stated at midnight or 8:00 in the morning. We could always run extra loads and I always did.
I enjoyed the video. I purchased an Iveco 440 cabover truck that was a military tank hauler. The truck got lost and sat for many years in storage before I purchased it and it only has 30,000 miles on it. It’s a dual axle, leaf spring suspension, and equipped with lockers. It’s a very large truck and extremely heavy duty, even has a double frame. It has a small sleeper too. I have my CDL and was thinking about going to the oilfield and was considering buying a vacuum trailer. My truck is not equipped with a vacuum, but I am sure it would not be difficult to have one installed. Trump is saying that he is going to get America drilling again, so I am thinking if I can get 4-5 years, I would be good. My truck is paid for and I am not worried about selling it when I am done. I have my CDL, but don’t currently have my HazMat, but will get it. I wonder what your thoughts are about my plan.
Owner op for.drivers?
Hopefully, with some of that money, you can fix those glasses or get some new ones
