Trying to get into crude hauling seems like they need drivers BAD bringing up lots of tier 2 wells in the Bakken since the price is up and those wells arent on the line.
The way real estate is going these days, I'm surprised people aren't applying just to get in there. My hope is that I can live there as a retirement village.

I'm not bunking with someone lol. North Dakota companies will offer you reimbursement for your own apartment you rent. Not all but most provide housing and can make a deal with you.
What company do you work for because im drilling in nd right now and they dont pay for you to rent a apartment. You stay in camp or provide your own,at least all the companies i worked for
I'm not up there yet. I was planning for this spring but I'm probably going to wait until next spring. I've been researching for over a year and there are companies that will reimburse you for your own apartment. I'm a CDL driver so things may be different if you go to be a hand instead of driving.
Are they like the camps in the military bases in Afghanistan , Bagram or Iraq? Those places were you are are posh compared to some of the military bases overseas Especially FOBs

Not all the oil fields man camp's are like that anymore
Those camps are way moce compared to mine, we dont even get cleaners we have to do that ourselves
