My BT200X is set for delivery in a couple of weeks. Had a Baja Warrior for a long time but finally beat it to death, and I’m eager to get back onto the trails out here in the woods where I live. I’m scouring UA-cam for BT200X-themed videos, and just subscribed to your channel. Stay well.
Bought one about 2 months ago at Tractor Supply and I've been impressed with what $700 will still buy (as long as it's made in China that is). Fifty-five years ago I had my first mini-bike and have owned about 60 motorcycles in the intervening years. Good features are the jack shaft and the size of the roller chain which should be more than adequate to transfer 6 HP to the rear wheel. (Not your wimpy old #35 chain anymore!) Nice hydraulic rear brake (which I was not expecting) has a good feel and is more powerful than a mechanical disc brake. Easy to start and ready to go right away (at least in warm weather.) I mostly use it as the farm 2 wheeled "4 wheeler" for everything from carrying water to fetching the mail. Goes right up steep hills. Good purchase.
After 2nd hour of riding I back out the governor screw, (on that particular model it isn't welded in) and gain almost 10mph. Also the rb200 has 3/4 crank like Predator 212 instead of Coleman's usual 5/8 crankshaft
I have the Mega Moto 212 pro. Same design as this, I guess Coleman bought it out. But, it's a fun bike. I got mine over 60 mph and it was nice and stable. It's a very comfortable bike to cruise on.
I received and assembled a new RB200 today and had the valve stem on the front tire so loose it blew out when I added air. The light switch was unsecured, the front tire has two large deep cracks in the side wall, the clutch cover is cracked, and the top screw on the throttle came pre stripped out and like yours it is painted and stuck on. Its also missing the washers for the front rebel. I too had to do a lot of adjusting to the throttle linkage to get it freed up. Despite all of that it runs good and is a blast to ride. I'm going to call Coleman tomorrow and see how good their customer service is I at least want the clutch cover replaced and a new front tire.
thanks! would love to see a video of comparisson of all the coleman 200 models. BT vs RB vr RT vs CT!!! there website isnt really helpful explaining the difference between them all.

I have had so much fun with my rb200 I saw a dirt bike trail path that goes up a hill I gunned it didn't realize how the hill was and I jumped them bike landed it and surprisingly didn't loose control even with little to no experience riding mini bikes and bike was fine to thankfully
Bike just arrived today I had a good test ride and speed test btw technically first mini bike my dad removed the throttle stop screw and I wasn't aware got a top speed of 30.6mph before govanor kicked in stock im 223lbs and I went that fast stock awesome I might not even get a torque converter its fun as is
The RB200 is modeled after the Monster Moto MM-212. Same style as the MM-212 Pro, minus the front hydraulic brake, torque converter, thicker frame, and larger 7.5hp 212cc stock engine. I don’t blame Coleman for copying this style. It is the most comfortable mini bike to ride, and Monster/Mega Moto went out of business. Go power sports acquired all of their leftover frames/parts. You can buy the MM-212 as a kit from them. 👍
You are the only one with videos of this bike, I got my son the ct200-ex and got jealous so I got this one and I smoked him w/o any mods, I want to upgrade with some performance parts, links you have for them are out of stock. Any recommendations? Will mega monster moto parts fit this?

Great video, thanks for putting it together! I'm looking to purchase 2 for my boys age 7 and 9, both boys are pretty big. They have a Razor Moped currently and i'm wondering if I should go with the RB100 or the RB200. They are used to driving go carts and 4 wheelers, so I'm leaning towards the RB200 and letting them grow into it... but would like to know your opinion. Thanks again for the great videos.
The RB100 is a fantastic bike to do beginner and inexpensive mods to the engine as they grow and swap to a larger engine as well. Lots of adults ride those on the streets and mine does over 30mph after modifications! The RB200, however, can be a thrill as well! It's sort of a "space for it" and "who else do I want riding it" and "power off the start" answer.
Coleman bought some plans for the frame, from my understanding but that is unconfirmed. Mega Moto went out of business but the bikes were still sold in china and other countries under the brand "sky Team". The mega moto pro frames without engine are sold in limited supply from a couple distributors such as Go Power and Studz Racing. The RB/RT 200 mini bikes are all different parts from the MM bikes.
That would be great if you did a vid comparing the Coleman RB200 to The Mega Moto's. quite curious as they seem pretty much the same. Anyways , very informative channel. Thanks,
I would, but the Mega moto company going out of business really stopped that. The Mega Moto Pro frame is still offered for sale but it can be a whole different bike because it's not sold as complete with the lifan engine.

When does this come out?! I love this ones looks and size over all the other coleman mini bikes I've seen and I like the others and that says a lot! Link? Think they would make a electric one with a belt drive to be quiet so you wouldn't bother neighbors?
I use 10w-30 here in colder climate, but otherwise a warmer climate would get 10w-40. For clutch, you can use the same. I go between a few different oils/greases depending on how many rides I've had.
It has been on the market since I "believe" around July-ish time (first I saw was early August). It sells out very quickly though in small "trial" purchases from my understanding (as they improve on quality control I believe). It also comes in an RT200 (camo) model.
What oil did u use ? Got one on way want have everything I need. Been cool to see u show putting the wheel on and the oil in just a step by step on what to do amd check thanks man
The RB200 only goes about 20mph (according to the specs) but that would be quite a lot of rpm. Does that translate into power? Will it handle a hill if I encounter one?
I have a quick question, I have a Realtree 200 mini bike that I bought from Walmart customer returned it Walmart gave sold it to me at 50% off. So I brought it home and looking around I removed the spark to to see it and I noticed when I pulled to start the engine with the plug off, oil was coming out is that Normal or did I get a lemon.

What bike would you recommend for adults who want a bike for mild trail ridding that will also work as a pit bike? We want one to use when we attend NASCAR events at Pocono raceway and car shows at Carlisle PA. All adult guys weight range 200 to 220.
Mild trail riding, the RT200, RB200, MB-200 Massimo, or the MB-200 Trail master are the ones to look at. The BT 200x is better stand position for more heavy beatings going slower. The other bikes it's not as good to stand position. The RT/RB are far less expensive and really rugged frames. I have 3 of the RB type frame most people like those for comfort. Passed up many opportunities for the MB-200 and Trailmaster. The BT can have the biggest rack space, though if you're carrying things a lot.
@@megoingfast Thank you for your response. I would love to go with a Coleman, but I think we would be best off with the Trai lmaster because of the rear shocks. We wont be riding it hard but I think we would be better off with the rear shocks!
So I'm not that tall but I would prefer a bigger mini bike like the bt200ex but I'm kind of a bigger guy and I want something that will be the best for my weight which one do you think has more power? Not necessarily speed but one that was compensate for my weight I'm only about 20 lb over the weight limit
The bt, the ex are the same power. The RB feels like it may have a better range for top end. 80% of riders I recommend the RB. I have 3 of that frame 'variant' and it's what others want to ride when they come over. The BT I wouldn't do without due to versatility in ice fishing and winter trails, but I enjoy longer rides on the RB more.
Funny enough, my front tire air valve was loose also. So weird.... anyway, I appreciate what you do! I do have a question for you.... I see you mentioned the thumb throttle. I tried to put one on mine, but the throw is too short.... it only does about half the throttle throw.... I bought the basic thumb throttle off eBay.... the IPZ one for like $20.... they all look the same in that price point so I was thinking about putting in a raptor thumb throttle if I can’t get the cheap one to work.... do you have any advice on how you got your to work correctly??
For some, I try to re-use the stock cable, modified a little (shave the end) and put a brake cable noodle or 'linkage noodle' on them to snug them up. can be a little tricky!
Try to get your hands on a predator hemi muffler or California compliant predator version muffler. I believe a lot of mufflers have a "screen" but not the actual mesh like a Hemi predator. Might want to contact ChildishConcepts.com and see if they have any take offs with arrestors. They often have some mufflers for sale with good advise on path to take.
Thinking of going the mini bike route instead of pit bikes we have for more comfort on trails. Of all the models you have, which do you prefer overall... performance and comfort? Considering the RB200.
Just bought this minibike am a little confused at what upgrades will fit this 196cc motor and frame want to get a little more speed out of it any comments or thoughts please on parts that will fit this and what to look for
@megoingfast I jus received my RB200 and I love it!! Problem is, sometimes it takes off by it self without me even touching the throttle. Can u help me with this fix??
after the first hour of use, then for me it's once a year but I have over a dozen mini bikes and 3 go karts, and a couple motorcycles, and... well they don't get heavy use any more except 3 of them.
where can i find parts for this bike? i’m thinking about ordering one soon and when i’ve looked online and at gopowersports there aren’t any parts for this specific bike. can i use just regular 196cc engine parts? maybe i could use parts that are supposed to be for other bikes?
I'll be researching this also. It's not a Predator engine, like "everyone" runs today. Lifun? I don't know. They're all some kind of clones to the Hondas of this type of course.
Wow they went back to a 3/4" crank. Is it still a Hisun engine? If not who makes it? How is the clutch quality? Looks like the engine will still need raised for a torque converter. Correct? Where did you buy the bike?
Got my Massimo 200 up for sale it’s got a stage one kit and jetted carb it pulls my 220 pound but almost 40 mph I’m having a hard time deciding which one of these to get I’m leaning more towards the RB 200 I’m looking for just speed and something to ride with my son when he rides his CT 200 any thoughts????

So I'm not that tall but I would prefer a bigger mini bike like the bt200ex but I'm kind of a bigger guy and I want something that will be the best for my weight which one do you think has more power? Not necessarily speed but one that was compensate for my weight I'm only about 20 lb over the weight limit
The bt, the ex are the same power. The RB feels like it may have a better range for top end. 80% of riders I recommend the RB. I have 3 of that frame 'variant' and it's what others want to ride when they come over. The BT I wouldn't do without due to versatility in ice fishing and winter trails, but I enjoy longer rides on the RB more.
fast so for camping and hard riding through dunes would you reccomend the bt? I want some power lol
I have the 196 RT200 I need auffler with spark arrester wich one do you recommend
Did u gey one? I just went back n forth on both of the bikes in the video, ultimately i just ordered the bt200x
Do you think the hydraulic break would work on the BT200X if mounted upside down? I’m looking for a easy install.
You'd need some welding and some spacers and a couple other mods to fit the disc.
Hey I’m trying to buy a mini bike and I have 600$ what mini bike do you recommend for it’s price
Get a small motovox or monstermoto and buy a tillotson and stage 1 it. Yes they’re really small but damn do they fly 😂
Just bought this minibike am a little confused at what upgrades will fit this 196cc motor and frame want to get a little more speed out of it any comments or thoughts please on parts that will fit this and what to look for
WhTs the top speed?
You are smart you know your buddies that will trash it with a wheelie so you put that on there was a smart move.
Just got mines and I’m tired of looking everywhere it doesn’t say what type of oil and how much should I use
about half a quart, 10w-30 unless in southern most states US then 10w-40
@@megoingfast Thank you for your help new subscriber here.
If i try to put a predator 212 on this exact bike will i need to drill or would it bolt right on ?
Need five 5/16*24 thread bolts and can bolt on.
@megoingfast I jus received my RB200 and I love it!! Problem is, sometimes it takes off by it self without me even touching the throttle. Can u help me with this fix??
You oil the clutch bushing (not inside the shoes)?
incase anyone is wondering whether to get this or the older bt200x, the rb200 or b200 is better than the bt200x by a long shot
How many teeth on rear sprocket
What is the thickness of the tubular steel on the RB200 vs. BT200X? Do both bikes measure the same thickness?
I have not cut into the frames to measure and the tube drain holes are a little difficult to get gauges into.
Bt mean big tube. Those are thicker frame
how fast does this bike go
Pls answer how much do you have to change the oil
after the first hour of use, then for me it's once a year but I have over a dozen mini bikes and 3 go karts, and a couple motorcycles, and... well they don't get heavy use any more except 3 of them.
where can i find parts for this bike? i’m thinking about ordering one soon and when i’ve looked online and at gopowersports there aren’t any parts for this specific bike. can i use just regular 196cc engine parts? maybe i could use parts that are supposed to be for other bikes?
I'll be researching this also. It's not a Predator engine, like "everyone" runs today. Lifun? I don't know. They're all some kind of clones to the Hondas of this type of course.
I need the dimensions of the packaging and weight for shipping purposes (box)
Still needs rear swing arm and springs .
Wow they went back to a 3/4" crank. Is it still a Hisun engine? If not who makes it? How is the clutch quality?
Looks like the engine will still need raised for a torque converter. Correct?
Where did you buy the bike?
Lifan engine, clutch is decent - no complaints. Yes, raised - I did a follow up video on it as well if curious. I bought the bike off Walmart!
RB200 or RT200, same bikes different color.
Does the carb on the RB200 have removable jets?
Yup. Different engine than the other Coleman mini bikes.
I'm about 6'4" I hope I am not too tall for this bike, its coming, my legs are not super long though.
My uncle is 6' 7" He's fine, if that helps your curiosity. ;)
@@megoingfast I got it today, RT200, was in great shape, great fit for me. Front tire was flat and valve stem loose used tweezers, took my time putting it together, runs great put about 10 miles on it, the BT200x will be here in about 10 days, great combo of MB's. I will be getting the certificates of origin, guess I have to call Coleman to do that? I will run the cent clutch awhile, with the screw backed out its plenty fast for me for now...
Call or email.
@@megoingfast Thanks I emailed them the info!
When you order it, do you have to build it
Yes
What would you suggest to get a coleman ex up to 45 mph engine wise
Torque converter, stage 1 kit, governor removal!
We put a torque converter on one of the rb200 and it was a lot better
