So the R is packing then huh 😂 No wonder the difference between the GTI and R is so notable, a stock manual R feels so much faster and pushy than a DSG GTI already with a few upgrades on it, the difference is actually absolute insane!
There is a potential for a lack of airflow, and therefore a small amount of additional fuel, however the fuel trims will take car of this and show so a logging session would most probably identify the cause. Is the overfuelling or just smell of petrol, which could be unburnt fuel from slight misfires which is also common.
@@DecimalTenths can i log this with obd11? there is some unburnt fuel coming out the exhaust, at the yearly car inspection i had 140 hydrocarbon value on the exhaust test at 2500 rpm and the maximum legal limit is 100.
Would you recommend doing them all at once and then getting car mapped or would it be possible to do them individually and then get it mapped after they all done ?
The carbon cleaning? You'll want to do them all at once given that most of the effort is removing the manifold. Wouldnt want to waste your time doing that multiple times.
Nooo dont Remove the Flaps :( you have an Direct injection you need Tumble , gasoline will not good mixing with air without it ...... full Throttle they Open Full but less throttel they will affect a good Thumble for more Torque and less fuel consumption ! I Hope you have to fully fill your Highpressure Pump before start it !!!!
We find that we are changing so much of the characteristics of the engine, and increasing torque over the full rpm range, that the flaps then become redundant.

Any performance gains from doing the rail pressure sensor? Some believe that you make some gains but I was under the impression it’s purely for monitoring purposes??
Purely monitoring purposes. Running it allows you to monitor a higher pressure which would allow for more power. But that's indirect, and directly a pressure sensor offers no power potential
@@DecimalTenths thank you for clearing that up. I was reading up on it for quite some time to see if there was any truth behind it and found nothing solid, I wonder why…😂
Hi Nick, What's the price to get the walnut blasting done? would really like mine cleaned
For a 4 cylinder TFSI like this we charge £360 which includes full injector servicing with upgraded filter and seals, and gaskets. 😁
do yoou have the part number for the 2 upgraded sensors?
what would it cost to get this done ?, i have very minor idle problems in my cupra R , narrowed it down to this.
Carbon clean and Injector servicing is £360 for 2l TFSI with us. Get it done before the minor issue becomes a major and requires new injectors 😉
@@DecimalTenths oh wow thats really not that bad😁, i was expecting alot more, only problem i have rn is finding a place that does this here in sweden other than VW/seat, and they are expensive 😂
@@chrilleman16 Yeah unlucky dude, that's a bummer. The carbon cleaning is important, especially for performance - but most running issues around idle are injector problems so find yourself a a local ASNU dealer and get them to service your injectors 👍
Ps when vid on escort cosy? 🖒👊✌
Very very soon...
Can't wait I am a massive Ford lover but have a genuine soft spot for the VAG cars and love what u guys r doing up there. 🖒🖒👊✌
what is the part # of the 200 bar rail pressure sensor?
06J906054B 🙂
@@DecimalTenths I think that's the one I have as I also did Intake Manifold, and I noticed my rail sensor was orange. Car has a swapped MK6 Golf R engine with a Precision 5858 turbo, RS4 Injectors, RS4 PRV, TT-RS LPFP, TorqByte PM4 module and also Snow Performance W/M injection. I only need to do the 5mm drilling of the HPFP as the one you did.
Its bonkers setup.
Can you include the part numbers for all these please
Do you have to tune for the runner delete???
Yes, I do that in the next video 👍
when you getting IGniTron back in stock mate ?
We get them as and when they become available dude. If you need one then send us a message on fb and we can sort it
HI THere wat 200 bar sensor is it from ?
What cleaner did you use for the valves?
Crushed walnut shells 👍
@@DecimalTenths Thanks but I meant what device? There are lots on sale but I'm looking for something that is half decent and actually works like yours does
Hi, is this EA113 engine?
Hi yes it is 👍
Is that the same mod needed for a mk6 gti 2012 plate ?
Nope Mk6 GTI are an EA888.1 engine (different)
@@DecimalTenths what mods would you recommend for the mk6 please. And can you recommend a clutch as I would like to up the power to stage 1 if possible?
Arent most of these parts stock on the Mk6 Golf R?
Yes most of the upgrade parts on this car are stock on a 6R.
So the R is packing then huh 😂 No wonder the difference between the GTI and R is so notable, a stock manual R feels so much faster and pushy than a DSG GTI already with a few upgrades on it, the difference is actually absolute insane!
is it possible that the car runs rich with no fault codes when having severe carbon build up?
There is a potential for a lack of airflow, and therefore a small amount of additional fuel, however the fuel trims will take car of this and show so a logging session would most probably identify the cause. Is the overfuelling or just smell of petrol, which could be unburnt fuel from slight misfires which is also common.
@@DecimalTenths can i log this with obd11? there is some unburnt fuel coming out the exhaust, at the yearly car inspection i had 140 hydrocarbon value on the exhaust test at 2500 rpm and the maximum legal limit is 100.
@@LinusF_ Don't know dude, I'm a vcds user 😬
Where buy parts from mate ?
Get anything you need from us at www.decimaltenths.co.uk . If there's anything you can find then send us a message and we can sort it.
You should get a coffee brand to sponsor you 😉
Tea only brother 👌👍
How does removing the runner flaps affect the drivability ?
On a stock car, slight low down torque can be lost. On a highly modified car it's nigh on irrelevant.
TfSI motors suck because of this. Gimme a Vr6 any day.
