Thank you so much i was bored of tutorials explaining everything and no tutorial explaining so much practically with so much ease and completely for beginners
thanks bro so much. would you kindly help me. why some parts of an object is missing after I import the mesh from blender to Z modeler or substance painter?
Hey thanks for the tutorial you make it really easy to keep up with you, I followed your steps and got the same results up to just before rendering. When I render my sphere I get much more noise mostly in the shadow of the sphere than you get in your final image. Do you have any idea what the problem could be and how I could fix that? Thanks!
Yes that fixed the problem thank you :) Also adding a texture I created on Photoshop CC somehow fixed the problem when keeping the samples value constant no idea why though.
Clamps limit how much a pixel in the image can be brightened by light coming from a 'light ray' that has not yet bounced from a surface (clamp direct), or from a 'light ray' that has already bounced a few times (clamp indirect). It reduces render accuracy because it artifically reduces the energy of a 'light ray', but can be used reduce the noise (fireflies/strange pixels) on a image. Be careful, though, because it not only will reduce brightness on those firely pixels, but on all of the image. Samples are a little complicated technically, but simply put: when a ray makes contact with a surface it gets deflected to a random direction. The number of samples refer to how many times you want to throw a ray at that surface and see where the ray bounced to. The more paths you take into account when calculating lightning, the better (higher samples will also reduce fireflies). The resolution percentage is just a quick way to decrease render resolution without having to manually edit the values.
what if there was something behind the glass, which would result in a warp of that object due to the glass sphere... is there are tutorial, setting or addon to handle that?
This happened to me and another way to do it is first you find the spot you wanna take the picture at then click render on the then click render image hope it works!
I followed every step, but my render came out grainy and pixelated in places. Is this because of my computer or did I miss something? The render took about 12 minutes to complete.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE HELP ME I AM CLICKING ON THE LITTLE STEVE GUY BUT, WHEN I DO IT DOES NOTHING IN THE MATERIALS, ITS LIKE I AM NOT EVEN SLECTING THE STEVE GUY, IN THE MATIRIALS IT ONLY SAYS "Grass" SO IT WONT LEMME CLICK THE LITTLE STEVE GUY, IT DOES NOTHING, ONLY THIS LITTLE CIRCLE GOES WHERE I CLICK, PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE (in the minecraft animations)

Have you tried bumping up the samples value? Should fix the problem.
Yes that fixed the problem thank you :) Also adding a texture I created on Photoshop CC somehow fixed the problem when keeping the samples value constant no idea why though.
No problem :)
Could you explain what all the settings (well, at least the two you used) under samples do? What's the difference with just increasing resolution?

Ur an artist
Haha, this tutorial do not deserve that comment.
Made my first render. Thank you! Took 10 min for rendering
wtf you have what?, windows phone?.
ah yes, cycles you use it, its a shit render.
cycles sucks.

for some reason my light is too weak, i'm using metric as unit. Great tutorial, though.
Solved, just the scale of it that was wrong.
from algeria tnx for that
2020 and im watching 😍
It's better to use only a few segments and rings and applying a subdivision surface modifier and setting the shading in the toolbar to smooth
You have a point, does not really matter in a quick one like this though haha ;)
But if you were rendering on a CPU (like me :c) it could take really long with just a few more balls
Back when I did this tutorial I actually used the CPU, but I get your point.
I made my first render ... But my finished one had too much noise in some parts ☹️ don't know what i did wrong!
Wait how do we place the plane on the Z axis? I cant figure out how to enter -1
Click G then Z then -1. You just type in -1
how to set keyframes? i key is not set keyframe... wht to do
+small boy What?
The video is too short but it's too helpful.. thanks
How do you do it with 2.79b?
Is it possible to render as PNG with IOR without backround.?
Yes
I have not yet known how to increase the size of the floor
When I clicked on “0” my screen just went black and I can’t get out of there and fix the problem.
This happened to me and another way to do it is first you find the spot you wanna take the picture at then click render on the then click render image hope it works!
why im getting crystal dots ? after final render remains the same
Increase the amount of samples and turn on denoising.
thank you
It's showing edgy contours of the ball even after smoothing it. What should I do?
I just dont get from 1:15 to 1:18..how u moved the plane??
I followed every step, but my render came out grainy and pixelated in places. Is this because of my computer or did I miss something? The render took about 12 minutes to complete.
Same here . Try increasing the render resolution.
why is my blender has another buttons on theese places?
I didn't find the lamp. Can anybody help me if they know?
i dont know but...I WANNA EAT IT!!!
Wilderness Pursuit lol

It just won’t work!!!
this is not a beginner tutorial.
why does every blender UA-camr say "zed" instead of "Z"
I don`t know, I`m Norwegian so I say whatever the others say haha
You are probably watching a lot of non-american youtubers lol
Robertas S. Haha ok, I will start saying it the right way then. 😂
Well I'm English, so I just read that as: "Zed instead of zed" ...lol
Well if it is right in England I'm not going to change it haha
