Hello! I watchdd this 2 months ago and followed that formula and have lost 16lbs! So happy consistency is key! And like he said just because you ate a little over or alot over your calories doesn't mean tomorrow will be the same! That energy kept me going ! So if I'm 180 and I want to be 130 is it better to say for my goal to start at 150 and then times that by 10...my body fat percentage is roughly 30%....I walk everyday on the treadmill about 8 to 9km a day and every few days I do the text workout so my calorie intake would still be 1500?

I watched one of your tik tok videos about tracking food using a scale instead of measuring! Game changer! When you talk about not tracking properly, that is what I was doing in the beginning. When I started weighing my food, it allowed me to see what a true serving actually was versus what I thought it was.

Great presentation, confirmed my own calculations, my problem is meeting my daily requirement for calories ie getting my number up (watched your video on high protein), but still falling well short. Shakes are low in protein high in carbs ie calories 🤔. Your consistency calendar is a brilliant idea and one you should display/promote at the end of your videos 👍

Thank you, I’m so happy you cleared .1 up because I was multiplying GBW of 10lbs by 12 and going weight or stayed at a plateau. So I said I’m going to lower my calories and I started dropping. So you’re right if have a higher percentage of body fat GBW x 10 is better and the opposite for for smaller amounts.
I love your advices I am starting again my weight loss journey but it’s so hard now after delivering my twins. I am tired all the time I start one week then I get tired and exhausted by then I leave it along 🙄 then I feel bad and I start again but m just lost at this point 😅 but I am trying every week. I’m glad I watched this and read the article because I was measuring my good wrong. I log my food but what I found was I was overeating by anywhere from 200 to 600 calories. So this week I’m starting all over. I really want to get a handle on my nutrition before I start focusing on my workout plan and hope to be able to have you as my trainer. I love your content.

My sister sent me your videos on Tiktok! I’ve already lost 18lbs ! I just had surgery, and I’ll be out of the gym for a month, but so far I haven’t gained any of my weight back!
I had never tracked calories, maybe “guessed” sometimes but I bought a scale this time and it was EYE OPENING! Takes a few weeks to build a habit and not skip a single thing that I eat or drink and finally seeing results. Eric you ROCK!!!!
Confusing re protein intake, just watched another of your videos and you said use your goal weight to calculate the amount of protein, but here you have said use your current weight!

Found you on TikTok! You’re guidance has been so helpful. After watching this, I realized I am not eating enough calories! I weigh 230lbs and was only eating 1400-1500 calories a day, it’s no wonder I was feeling so hungry at night! Now I’m worried about increasing my calories😣
I thought the same thing, but have seen better results at 1800-2000 calories than I did at 1400. I weighed 250, down to 235 now following this program...it's been a steady pound per week loss since May 1st

Hey Cristian :) hope you are well :) I currently am training at my gym but truthfully I was never the type to “vlog” or show my own stuff... I try to put out educational content, I’m not so good at putting out stuff about myself 🙈 but I will certainly consider finding ways to do that :) I currently post in my instagram stories some of my workouts :) thanks for the thought :)

If its more then 20 to 30 pounds you want to loose like me right now i just seen video im 190 i was to get down to 150 145 and maintain so im doing 160 as first goal so mine would be 1600 then when i get to 160 od time 150 or 145 by 10 or 12 if it was effective or to little .
Eric, thank you for posting these videos. I am planning on doing your 60 day challenge . With that in mind I’d like to ask you a very silly question, I’m sure. The total amount of protein one is supposed to hit in a day, is it included in your total calories? For example: 1600 cal + 151P? Thanks 😊

When weighing food snacks etc I should go off the nutrition label? I’m so excited to try this I’ve been working out since beginning of year and seeing no change but I’ see now that I’ve been counting my calories all wrong I’ll be buying a food scale now to accurately count calories

Hey Lisha :) I am glad to hear, welcome :) SO, that is the whole point, you don't have to cut anything out :) 80% of your food should come from nutrient dense whole food, 20% can come from treats / things you enjoy. I would track calories and protein, that is what I track with my clients and it works incredibly well :) If you want more info on the 80/20 rule I mentioned above I would suggest heading to my website and reading the article I put on there titled how flexible dieting works for weight loss :)

Ok ok so I’m 250 now and my goal weight is 140 but since you said to start smaller I decided to have my goal to get to 200 and then go from there. So 200x10 would be 2,000 would I be in a calorie deficit at that point? Sorry I’m trying to figure all this out because this is what stresses me out the most. Love this guy! Eric, not understanding the macros. @200#, I wasn't losing at 1600-ish calories. This says should lose at 1900. Is that due to going over/being inconsistent? Even if it's not that frequent?

Seen two of your videos and found them very helpful thank you for that but I I I have had cancer that has left me with peripheral neuropathy and I can’t exercise. I am going to try to walk a bit more but even that is hard for me I think it will be a while till I reach ten thousand . Do you you have any videos on chair exercises until I get a bit more strength ❤
