Pin meeeeee 5th view
yes!
While showering i start boxing for no reason
haha yep
I thought I was the only one lmao
The story I had always read about the fighter walking out of the ring was that he signed the contract for an untelevised fight therefore less money and when fight night came he found out it was televised meaning he should have been making more and then did exactly what you said.
machete
ty bro ur a legend
Also, he never got a copy of the signed contract, meaning he couldnt have proven after the fight that he signed any contract
Legend thank you for the info
Harper walked out the ring as he saw the matchmaker chico rivas in the other guys corner, that and the fact he never got a full contract or pay for the fight he decided to walk out. All respect to harper he done the smart thing, walk out without any brain damage instead of getting paid peanuts
That ref is so into the fight. Looks like me when watching a good fight. 😆
Exactly mate, he loves his job.
100th like on this comment
@@Tony_Jeffries imagine everyone had that passion for their jobs.
That isn't Kenny baylees
It's Steve willis
The woman eating punches is actually Christy Martin, a legend in women’s boxing. Competed for 23 years, one time WBC Super Welterweight champion, two years before that clip survived being shot and stabbed by her trainer/husband. Those were the last seconds of her retirement fight. 🙌 🥊
Dang she went through hell and back, and knew not give up
Christy is cracked like I watched her untold movie and I'm like what the hell what is that women on and a welter weight male I bet was terrified
I watched a documentary about her and she was just a beast to survive all that
that trainer who punches his own students is INSANE!!!! How can somebody do that and other men actually take it without stopping to think "wait, what about my god dang BRAIN!". Disgusting
Yeah mate! That coach was irresponsible, totally unacceptable.
@@Tony_Jeffries WHAT ABOUT THE DICKHEADS GETTING IN LINE AND LETTING HIM DO IT? 😃😃
@@izmirurla35 they're not dickheads, they're fools. Big difference
Wasn’t for boxing Muay Thai it’s different training
@@jordanrickard5085 well you clearly been doing this aswell if you think this is a smart idea for mauy Thai anyone with half a brain can tell this is a bad idea
Never knew how much I needed your reactions to Tiktok's madness until I got the notification and saw the thumbnail 😂
haha nice one mate. Do you like my new video mate?
I’m literally shadow boxing everywhere I go 🤣 I can relate
Same n im not even a boxer
I don't even box like that, just enough knowledge so I can throw a punch and dodge one maybe (haven't tried it yet lmao) but I do the same thing. Especially in front of a mirror you can really get the movements ingrained
@@wokeil it’s fun, good stress reliever for me
forever shadow boxing and then being emberassed when someone catches me lol
The way jeff laughs at the kid was funny as hell🤣🤣🤣
The ref is not Kenny bayless bro
The ref name is Steve willis
The shadow boxing thing is so relatable. I'm constantly throwing punches when my hands aren't doing anything else.
Not a fan of reaction videos but I reckon TJ reacts is gonna be the next big review segment on the world wide Internets. I'm thoroughly enjoying these.
Thanks big man. All the best
I’ve been watchin ya since u had low quality vidz m8, can’t believe how dedicated u are and how much you’ve improved Tony ! Keep up the videos
you are a breath of fresh air, great to finally see a noble boxing gentlemen , Proud of your efforts Tony
Hey champ! Awesome video, always glad to see you in a good mood! This referee doing funny faces is Steve Willis.
The reason the dude apparently got out of the ring was because before the fight he was promised only half the money he was originally promised, so by leaving the ring in protest, he gets his money since it was technically a fight.
3:14 The Moment when I had shortage of Breathe 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey tony ever think bout doing breakdowns for big fights then giving a prediction on them? Much love big fan of the channel.
6:00 I kicked another boxer in the ring in my first match 😂 It was 20 years ago, but I still remember, like it was yesterday 😂
I had few thaiboxing trainings before I switched to boxing and my first fight was like a war. Not much of skill on both sides, but lot of power and big hits. In last round, I was in ropes, I was hit pretty hard, my head dropped a bit and all I saw at the moment was my opponents leg and my leg, striking a beautiful low-kick 😂 It was some kind of muscle memory reflex I couldnt stop. I was boxing in my home town and I heard from the crowd somebody shouting on the referee "kick this fu...er out!!!!" What a moment, I Will never forget in my life 😂☝️
As a kickboxer I often think about kicking my boxing opponent
Happy birthday Tony. Keep o. Spreading boxing knowledge to the world.
Thank you Giovanni and I will.
4:17 Thank you for saying this in your video. Good refs are essential. They can be the difference between life and death.
you are the most entertaining boxing personality out there tony appreciate the content
Yes, I related to that. Back when I was training I always wanted to start exercising whenever I started to drink anything. After a glass of wine I just had this itch to start training. It was truly my happy place.
Alcohol stimulates adrenaline so that makes sense.
The drunk master
More of these!!! Heck ya
Wait, what? I do shadow boxing when I'm alone at home or in front a mirror. Some slips, some pendulums, a hook, a 1-2, basic stuff. I can't control it and I thought I was the only one. Now I feel like a boxer.
Edit: WHAT? It's your birthday, Tony? Congratulations, mate! Best regards!
Omg, I loved the one where the dude just calmly stepped down out of the ring when the bell sounded!! Probably one of the smartest men on the planet. Wonder why none of Mike Tyson's opponents never did that when they SHOULD have.
I’m almost 100% you were right on second choice of why boxer walked out. Pretty certain he was duped with his contract for the fight, some BS with promoter
Started my boxing journey a year ago I’m shadowing boxing all the time around the house
Do you also randomly shadow box at home? - > Yes Tony, it is common to randomly shadow box when nobody around at home :)
Me too 😀
Once you become a boxer, that becomes a normal part of your life. You can't walk too far without throwing a few light punches.
That's Steve Willis not Kenny bayliss
3:58 “don’t go punching your girlfriends bum”😂😂😂
5:34 this is super accurate i like shadow box everywhere.
Can relate on that mate
You can check all my videos here: ua-cam.com/users/TonyJeffries1videos
4:36 wood vs conlan stuff
5:00 from what i heard he had a big dispute with the promotion over his contract and so he decided to leave the ring after the bell rung so they still had to pay him for the fight. So basically what you said
this is good content, keep it up! 💪
So the compulsive shadow boxing in front of every mirror around or while waiting for the elevator is not only my problem :D I feel so relieved for that
5:24 second option I’ve seen the context about it
The funny faced Ref is Steve Willis ✌️❤️🙂
I kicked a boxer who was helping me with my hand techniques. I was training in TaeKwonDo at the time. We were sparring at about 25% when muscle memory took over. He poked a jab, I slipped back and clipped him with a roundhouse. Good thing we were going light and I had good control. All he really got was a light tap on the cheek. He made a comment about why it is important to keep your guard up, you never know what may be coming your way.
Man, the shower has become my favorite shadow boxing spot in the house. Switch that water to ice cold to really make yourself go crazy!
This was very entertaining, looking forward to see some more content like this!
1:12 this is the laugh I get when I'm watching shorts at 3am LOL
I'll be watching videos on UA-cam in bed of stuff I want to work on and start shadowing laying down haha
“Ohp! I know what that is” 😂 I see Tony is a man of culture!
Every time I see myself on any kind of reflecting surface I do a little 1-2-3-slip-uppercut- stepoff. Glad to hear I not the only lunatic that does that.
LOL, I made a similar comment. Cheers, mate!
That’s hilarious, I do a 1-2-hook to the body since that’s my favorite combo
I'm so lucky I subscribed 👌 Learned a lot and damn, this is one laughtrip content 🤣🤣🤣
1:45 from the Philippines 😂🇵🇭
yes i box in the house.
i have limited time to properly train so i like to keep the technique sharp,
but most of what i do looking at my shadow or a reflection around the house is shoeshine for a little bit. i think for fitness it's good and it keeps you coordinated
Yeah, its a good drill as well. Do you box Bryan?
You can check all my videos here: ua-cam.com/users/TonyJeffries1videos
Nice do more of these reactions
I thought I was the only one shadowing everywhere, my mom thought, I am crazy. Happy to see other passionate air hitters.
Happy birthday from California
Thanks Jacob, where u living in Cal mate?
I just discovered your videos on UA-cam. You should be an example to all coaches out there. Great videos .. Keep it up sir
Oh hell nah, a machete?!
Last video is so true xD can't stop throwing that hands all around the house
My family members always told me I look silly shadow boxing everywhere I go😁
I can relate on that mate 😂
Referee eyes so big he can see what happens two rounds ahead of the rest of us.
Absolutely great video boss. The legendary mr . bayless:D haha always entertaining and a really good ref:) your insight is phenomenal my friend. Wish I had some of those thoughts when i was in the midst of my short career.
Hello sir, bcoz of you I learn a lot. In this coming last week of March I start my first day in boxing gym and I'm ready to apply all I've learn from your video🙂🔥
im a 15 year old from pakistan and tony gotta say it u fueled my passion for boxing more and im watching all your vids on how i can improve. im learning alot and traning alot at home i do calisthenics workouts and your workouts i hope to become a boxer one day love the content
I can hear the passion in you rvoice
2:39 he is training them that way to make their brains endure more in the future obviously
(This is sarcasm)
I like this style of video
Anyone who don't know who this uk Olympic medalist is educated yourselves 😁 top notch bloke n pure class 👌
He left because he was not going to get paid he was informed just minutes before the fight. He made his point by waking out .
I definitely walk around shadow boxing all the time. I'm always tapping poles and door frames like they're bags. It's the life
5:20 I'm pretty sure it had to do something with the contracts. I didn't watch the full video on it but it had to do something with the contracts for sure mate!
I do the exact same thing every day, random shadow boxing 😂 then I get caught in the act and it’s embarrassing
The ref at the beginning is Steve Willis, not Kenny Bayless haha tho y’all included an image of Kenny at the end haha 🤦
Oh tony❤️❤️❤️
You should do more of these!!!
0:20 that’s actually Steve Willis
lol i shadow box everywhere been doing it since 1998 when i was 8 years old getting taught boxing from my dad. looking forward to my heavy bag session tomorrow now 32 years old and still wanting to improve.
The guy walked out because he was not getting payed enough against a less ranked guy.
4:05 guys when they are being cut off and asked to leave a bar 4:05
" but I'M FINE "
That wasn't Kenny Bayless
What a relief i do shadowboxing all the time at any moment i guess im normal after all 😂
Every time I walk past a mirror I do shadow Jujitsu.
There’s some crazy things happening out there.
the fighter against the guy who walked out is really good. I think that's why
Always shadow boxing around my house aswel. Cant get enough of it Tony m8 haha
Same here mate 🤣
I can relate on that mate 🤣
2:30 roughly: well I don't do boxing exactly but what my instructor does is he punches me but not in the head, just the stomach because my martial art is one of the heaviest martial arts on body conditioning
I had so much anxiety on the machete one.
Me too, it was crazy
must have been some bad blood in the knocked out the ring session
About the constant shadow boxing.
When I trained MMA and grappling I always, 100% of the time, when huggging I would try to get my arms as underhooks. All that pummeling...
make a video on angle shuffle
Hi Tony - great vid.
Have you seen/made vids on the boxer Charlie Zelenoff"
Entertaining, er, character...
Cheers
Me too punching all time at home
He seen that dude and said damn like Smokey off Friday in his head an got up out of there
its always funny watching new people in muay thai start to roll around kicking things as their shins get more conditioned. not everyone does it but there are enough that i've noticed this as a trend.
I have hand injurie shoulder and knee naaa i cant train how i could but shadowboxing nearly everytime with the mirror
Yeh I always do boxing at home
Oh gosh! Just checked out that last story! XD
Apparently the guy had the last straw when he saw his own promoters on the other guys ringside!! "Get in the ring. Get payed. It's simple" 😅😅
Im always shadow boxing coach Jeffries, my father once cought me shadow boxing in the kitchen hes face expression was hilarious😂😂😂
Some times as I'm walking, I start throwing jabs and slipping lmao
The one where Ajagba's opponent left was because he never got paid...at all.
And it was for his last 2 fights too, promoter stitched him up, so against AJAGBA, a bigger better known opponent...he decided to walk to prove a point.
As i believe was on PBC channel too.
Boxers be like "He kick him! No good! Crazy!: But people these days get kicked on the street. For self-defense, a boxer needs to know how to kick and how to defend against a kicker. And how to clinch and sweep. So Mr. Jeffries, how about it? A simple, easy series on kicking, and another on clinching? And takedown defense, too.
Theres a video of a fight here in Brazil between Reginaldo Hollyfield and Josias id really like if you did a video about it, the fight is funny, but probably very dangerous
Shadow boxing around the house yup.
2:13, thats not kenny bayless hahaahah
With the video of the boxer walking out of the ring because he was protesting to get more money because he thought he wasn’t getting paid enough
