    Day 1: No difference yet
    Day 2: No difference yet
    Day 3: feeling more easier to jump
    Day 4: 2 cm increase
    Day 5: feeling light weight (more easier to lift myself up than usual)
    EDIT: Its been two weeks now I skipped some days but I can jump about 3 foot now and I'm only 12.9 y/r and 5'3.10 Its so amazing. I even recorded a video of myself Jumping and I was literally flying I will continue the training and hopefully jump even higher

      M the reason its famous is because it’s so simple. Daycare kids can play soccer. That doesn’t go to basketball. It takes a lot of grinding and research just to get in the basics.

    • @jjkembo8810
      @jjkembo8810 3 роки тому

      @Christian Raphael K. Siosan no but like, he probably played as a child alot. I did too, (almost) we all did since as a kid it's easy to play, you can play almost anywhere and it's so on. That's not the case with basketball, where it take time just to be able to bounce the ball. And honestly most young kids obviously isn't gonna get into that

    • @jjkembo8810
      @jjkembo8810 3 роки тому

      Christian Raphael K. Siosan true, valid point. I want to rephrase it my opinion. I think the main reason soccer is so popular is because its such a simple concept yet it’s still very entertaining. Since it’s so simple almost everyone can get into it. It does not have favoritism either. For example in basketball taller players are the better fit. In sumo wrestling you need to be big, Like REALLY big. But soccer have a position for everyone. Very wholesome lol

    hey Adam, amazing content as always! i just have 2 questions
    1) would you recommend adding a weight lifting routine (lower body) if you're doing something like vert shock?
    2) how long would you recommend i take off after completing a program like vert shock before thinking of starting back up again?

    • @ThincPROBasketball
      @ThincPROBasketball  7 років тому +5

      Thank you man!
      1) It's not necessary but will help accelerate gains after your body hits a plateau from bodyweight training, or you want to add another level of difficulty to your workouts!
      2) We recommend taking off 1-2 weeks once you complete the program before starting up again

    Dont worry about dunking at a young age . If you're a 13 year old and can't dunk , it doesn't mean that you will never dunk you will become taller later on.
    My advice is to practice exercises to jump higher but don't expect results early .
    I'm 13 years old 5 foot 4 and I can touch the backboard and I'm not worried about dunking this year . When I become 15 or 16 im sure I'll gain extra cms + my vertical will be higher at that time
    What I'm trying to say is that if you're 5 foot 5 or even 6 foot 1 and can't touch the rim, doing these exercises won't make you dunk tommorow . Just be patient

    How time per week must do this drills? And how much inches can increase my vertical jump?

    • @ThincPROBasketball
      @ThincPROBasketball  7 років тому +31

      Start with 3 per week for a couple of weeks then you can do 4 times a week once you get it down and really put in that work! And the inches are different for every player

      Hey man, I would start with 3 sessions per week. If you find that's too easy for you, you can increase the number of sessions or increase reps/sets

    I am 12 years old and 6'1. I never really scored inside. I am more of a ball handler and shooter. Doing these drills, will I be able to dunk on 9ft net ( for beginners) then progress to 9.5 and then finally 10. Also how many times a week should I do this. Thanks!
