I would ask the person to tell me more about what he means by the phrase.....'born in the wrong body'. Further exploration would be what does it feel like. Where in his body is that happening. Can he remember when he first had this thought or feeling? Lots more exploration of what he feels this term symbolises. Never ever tell always listen. I was not at all impressed with her making an assessment of gender dysphoria within minutes. There was so much more she needed to learn about him before that.
This is a GP exam scenario, not a therapy session. The doctor has 10 minutes to get to a diagnosis and discuss possible treatment/management options with the patient. A therapist who probably has much more time to discuss the situation in-depth, can go into details.
"safe place" she says then it ends up on youtube with 24k people seeing this poor guy thinking he shared his feelings with 1 person but it was 24k people😂😂
He should have gotten a little suspicious though when he saw there was a sound man, a camera operator and a boom operator in the therapist’s office too and heard the director call, *“ACTION!”*
