This is a really great consultation. Smoothe, broad and covers all aspects clearly. Very well don't. I don't understand the comments about being too doctor centred, the patient is fully informed and can now make her own choice. I will certainly use this as a template for my OCP consultations with thanks

@@zed3063Touche. Wouldnt be face to face, would be over in 2 minutes and definitely no invite to come back again. Lucky to get an appointment if your appendix is hanging out.
Of course the reality is no GP consultation goes on for this long! 10 mins is the max before they're giving you the ''Your time is up get out now'' look. You're lucky if you even get 10 mins in this modern day NHS which has been cut to death by the Tories!
A bit too long! Thats a lot of info - imagine asking the patient to now recall some of this info!!!! Yes we have to give some but if this doctor goes through EVERY SIDE EFFECT EVERY TIME she prescribes a medicine would mean she will ALWAYS overrun her surgeries for sure!!! THats what leaflets and PILs are for!!! I would have liked it if this was done within 10 mins to see how it would be done in a CSA!
