It's been a while since I have been here. Rory is still as good as ever ^^
The most important thing about No Contact is that it is for YOU! Getting your ex back is bonus, but first and formost, it will help you to get yourself back. It will give you distance, room to breathe, clarity to see things as they are, time and space to heal, strengh to stand up again and view to see the silver on the horizon again. You need to get yourself back and how to be yourself and love yourself either before you try a new relationship or reconciliation. Your ex may come back, or not, it honestly doesn't matter. You are beautiful as you are, and when there is one thing certain about life , it''s that there is always tomorrow. If you're meant to be together, you will be together, if not, life will bring along even better option, love yourself, be patiant and enjoy life, good things will happen.
Take this from a guy who was completely heartbroken and thought life was over 6 months ago. It hurt like hell, it was tough, it was hard to stand up again. But know it's not forever and you will come out of it stronger and more beautiful than ever. Take it as a change to learn, grow and become a better person. I really took Rorys advice to heart and in the last 6 months, I got my Bachelor, started a Master, became a semi professional musician and earned prices for that, I lost about 7 kg, I rekindled old friendships and bonds to my family, I met awesome new people and found new joys and passions. Will my ex come back? I honestly hardly care at this point, she might and get another chance, she might not, I have options, her loss, I wont wait for her forever.

Totally agree with you, my ex broke up with me almost 4 months ago and i seriously wanted to kill myself but then found this channel, stoped beg and plead, started to study, lost 8 kg, went to the gym for the very first time ever, made new friends, started therapy and life feels really nice now, my ex contacted me and we actually went out, I'm staying cool because i know that if my ex doesn't see how great i am someone else will!

I'm not gonna lie, I stood beside railtracks one time, and I still have a scar from when I once cut myself. But I tried to remember who yi was, what I still have, I got help, from Rory, from my family, from a therapist, and I was able to rise again. No one is worth throwing your entire life away for, so have some selfrespect and worth. And concentrate it on the people who do appreciate it. I wish you the best man, there are 7 Billion people in this world, someone can and will surpass your ex.
@Nas Nalbaz It's always the same bullshit. "I don't want to be in a relationship, I'm confused, I need time and space" Bla bla, they're just thirsty. And some people are just like that. Always searching for the better, toxic, never happy. Don't waste your time on them, they will only hurt you after they got bored of you. Someome who truely loves you will move mountains to be with you, and be honest about their feelings. I made mistakes in my relationship, I was very insecure and needy towards the end. Still, my ex tried to pull some very toxic shit. Basically she wanted to break up, but stay together until she was savely detached, then she wanted to put me on the back burner while exploring options, like "wait for me while I fuck around, you can provide me later". I'm glad I had the dignity, selfworth and braveness to walk out of there. It broke my heart, it hurt like hell, but it was the right decision. Have some selfworth and dignity, never be an option. Good luck man, you deserve better.

My ex broke up with me in early March and I was a mess, I took on all of Rory’s advice, I rewatched all the videos over and over again and took in the information and now I’m better than ever, do the work and you will recover. 5 year relationship gone in one second and I’m absolutely fine, the initial pain is the worst thing ever but trust me it goes away, and it goes away pretty fast if you do the work. Look after yourselves x
No contact is best thing i ever did 2 months later i am fucking loving my life, hitting gym crazy, taking care of myself, Been getting a lot of attention 😉.. Trust me guys if they loved you they wouldn't put you in such pain to leave you since you gave them your 100% there are people out there who will love you for what you are. I feel deleting couples pics on instagram isn’t bad if it’s month out of the breakup. NC is to get you back, so removing memories isn’t that bad. The others you mentioned Rory, I definitely agree with. Hope you are doing well my friend.
Mike Palumbo it took me 3 months before I deleted the pictures of us. Around the same time I took the down the pictures I noticed she blocked me
4 months no contact. He reached out saying he want to start over but i feel that he is still not ready for a relationship, clear signs that we will again do the same thing that we did before that absolutely distroy me. And because i worked on myself, it was easy to let him go and chose my peace. He needs to strengthen his resolve, ive got no time for emotional roller coaster. Now i settled with being friends and im ready to move on.
you are by far the best love coach i've encountered on the whole internet. trust me, i'm pretty sure i've read just about every article on the internet that could even remotely relate to my current situation lol. but you are the only one that has both put my fears at ease and kept things real. from now on, when i'm having troubling thoughts, i'm coming back to this channel for reassurance instead of going down the rabbit hole lol. and yessssss, for always bringing the point home that No Contact is for YOU, not for them.

My ex and I are meeting again in August, now I'm still working on myself not stalking anymore, i feel confident about myself and studying so hard to be admitted in the psychiatry hospital I want to be resident next year, thank you so much Rory, you are the best!

@@bryanplaysteppen1122 ENTP here, and from my experience i think its just expecting extroverted feeling to soothe and tend to you, since you'd do the same for them. it bites when reality doesn't work that way and the mutual friends are super close to you.

Haven't heard from her in over a year. After eight years together. Incredinle. No Contact has made me feel better, but there are still times when it hurts and I miss her. I lost my best friend in the world, and I think that's what hurts the most. Not sure if I could even take her back, as much as it pains me to say. Part of me wants to, but I don't know if I could let someone back in my life who caused me such agonizing grief and despair.

@@TheLoveChat Hey Coach Rory. We broke up for 12days now. i went no contact ang he kept reaching out to me 2days from the time that we broke up. He kept texting calling ang sending me chat msgs. Like he can't stop thinking of me, that i always come into his mind, that he misses me, asking me how i was, he kept apologizing and asked where i was the past days since i disappeared all of a sudden. I responded 4days after with "im okay and you?" That he is also always in mind and "im glad you're thinking about me. I miss you too" then he responded he responded with good morning right after. The communication keeps going but i always respond after couple of hours, i dont respond right away. Now, im worried i messed up and that he is now treating me as his friend only so i went back to no contact again. His last message was few hrs earlier asking me again how i was. I just replied with the same im okay and you? Then until now i dont know what his response was since i again went No contact. Im not sure what to do now. did i mess up? Is he seeing me as just a friend now? i also asked him "what can i do about that?" When he said i am always on his mind and he responded with, "i dont know" he clearly still doesnt know what he wants. He broke up with me bec. He isnt sure about me, that he still craves other women that he doesnt want to hurt me one day bec. He is tempted with other women, that he cant cheat on me and cant hurt me bec. Im such a good person. He told me he still loves me but it isnt that strong to continue with our rel. we were only together for a month but it was a serious and loving rel. That he even introduced me to his family.. im so close to his family now most esp. To her mom. They like me so much. im 33 y.o. and he is only 20 y.o
6 months.. havent heard from her. Dont want her back but miss her as a friend. Sad how things change after she broke up after 5,5 years. well. met some nice new people in the meantime :)

Please make a video on strategies on how to forgive oneself and self-compassion and also stategies on how to heal after making mistakes on no contact many times like losing emotional control during the "reconciliation" phase.these topics would be helpful especially during this health crisis when we are dealing with so much already.you may have other insights into these topics and it would be greatly appreciated by many.
Everyone who sees this comment has gone or is going through a hard time im 8 weeks in to a nearly 5 year break up, she left me before this aswell. Best advice i can give it to let yourself be upset for a few weeks but make sure you still try to do things that make you happy like going gym, hanging with mates going places. It wont seem like it helps but over time you get use to yourself. Never and i mean never look at what they’re doing or any of there close mates. Remove them off social media all of them, parents, best friends even mutual. Because nothing is worse than seeing things you can’t control and i know ive done this mistake so many times. My last advice is dont hang onto hope my ex gave me hope saying maybe this maybe that, i do still love you i just dont want a relationship rn. Have more respect for yourself be selfish and that doesn’t mean going out with opposite sex cause that never helps i promise. Just do yourself being selfish but in a positive way if that makes sense, you will get better you’re loved you will find it love again and even better than you one had
Man, I have done a few of these mistakes. I didn't know any of these advices before hand. Should have done the HW; but at this point I don't want them back so I guess doesn't matter if I made these mistakes. I am learning and now I know. Moving on to be a better me. I have gone radio silent, in counseling, reading more, exercising and going out with friends on weekends.

Hey man, love the channel and i just really need some advice on what to think. Ive been watching your videos religiously and they have helped me so much. So basically my ex broke up with me about a month and a half ago, we had a hugely happy and loving relationship but her pushing me away and my anxiety just got the better of it and she decided she needed a break to be alone and "sort out her mental health" and be herself again. This break up tore both of us apart and we were both so hurt by it and losing each other and i saw that both during and after the breakup. Since the break up i went no contact but 3 weeks after she was in a new facebook official relationship. Im almost 100% confident she had no intention of ever talking to this guy (and to me he looks like a real step down) nor did she talk to him before and it all just looks to be moving so fast. If im honest, im fairly confident that she will realise she made a mistake and come back because i really dont think she will get a better bf, i dont even know if i want that though, and he just doesnt look like her type or what she is like atall. They have been going out for 3 weeks now and in another few weeks my ex leaves to go to italy for a month and a half. Do you think when she goes away it will make her miss her rebound more and then so when she gets back she will feel even more pulled to him and it will prelong the honeymoon period or restart another? Or could this time alone in italy (only being able to facetime and text the rebound) make her realise their incompatibility and make her think of me more and in turn make the heartbreak catch up/end the honeymoon quicker? To be honest everything that has happened has just been so weird. Under 2 months ago she was asking about moving in and saying that she has never met anybody like me and i am her best friend to her now being on a holiday with the new guy only 3 weeks after being together, it all just doesnt make sense.

I did the worst mistake: I reached out. He was polite and after a while we met and hooked up. He was confused but then cannot forget about the negative emotions he still has. Then he wants friendship - I told him it will not work for me. Since then NC.

She broke up and I took it as grownup, actually we both took it. It was really sad after 6.5 year but I thinking it was for the best. We both decided to hide the pictures that we were together(not delete) and we kept the few posts the she were in the picture but with friends in it as well. Although I made a few changes in the text referring as a "special person" . Going to the NC for just 2 weeks thought. Still a though phase. Telling myself everyday "Walk tall" , it works.
Just want to share - After 5 months I broke no contact and I regret it. I randomly ran into my ex at a bar and we had a good interaction. I mistakenly took it as an opportunity to reach out days later. I asked to catch up over drinks and was rejected. 5 months down the drain, now I feel worse. I wish I had been stronger...

I HAVE A QUESTION: I went nc for awhile and then I reached out twice mistakenly, first time was to give her stuff back and second time was to ask questions about a phone bill. On the second time I asked how she was doing and that blew up in my face. She told me she didn’t want small talk and didn’t want any type of relationship with me. I almost let my anger get the best of me and almost text her a long paragraph about how I was trying to be nice, how I was always there for her and how I did nothing wrong to her and how I want nothing to do with her. I ended up saying nothing and going back to nc. My question is did I do the right thing? Should I have responded to her text or is saying nothing the best thing?

Rory - What if my ex keeps contacting me because we have been friends for 10 years and he genuinely is concerned for me, just does not want this relationship? He kept calling me, I told him not to 5 weeks after our breakup because it was not helping me move on. Will he ever contact me if I have asked him to never call me again?
No contact for almost 2 months. While he hasn’t contacted me, he has contacted my brother in law and a cousin. Told my cousin he messed up and to tell me he was really sorry for letting me down. I guess now I wait for divorce papers.

My ex did me pretty dirty. Threw me out after I paid rent over a small argument. Threw all my shit out. But she ALWAYS checks my stories and all. So I keep my posts super positive. I try and stay active, happy, and motivating. I'm angry cause she treated me like an enemy when I always treated her really good. Please make a video on how to bounce back after breaking no contact many times and several mistakes during contact.I was on no contact first but then he kept sending how are you messages every week.he actually said probably three or four times that if I want to talk to him I'll just leave him a message.he left an open communication.i didn't reach out for many weeks but for the last two or three weeks i was weak and going through something and inititiated contact.he calls me and let me talk but of course the support is unlike before.he is in this state of mind that he talks to people but not for a long time including me that's what he said.he's been like this since we split.he doesn't give a crap about anything or anyone now.I feel I blew any chance of reconciliation since the last three conversations we had was not that good since I was upset at him for bringing up my mistake during our relationship and I was upset and he won't apologize for making me feel like that.he has been unapologetic about his actions even if he hurt me.

My ex aunt contacted me about a month ago via text. At that point, it was 4 months of no contact. She wanted to meet to see if I was interested going to an event her job was having. This was her reply “Hey, thanks for the invite- I do like beating you at pool. But I just don’t think it’s a good idea tonight” and I replied to her “ First off, you never beat me, I let you win... when there's an opening in your schedule and you're feeling it, let me know. “ I went back into no contact but I guess the clock starts over... how bad did I fuck this up?
It took my ex about 3 months to reach out to me, but she did. We were together for almost 3 yrs. I was in real no contact. None. She asked me to have dinner at her place, then asked me to stay the night. Its been great for 2 weeks now. Not necessarily living together again but its headed there. I think you messed up man. But i did that in the beginning too. So i say start over and don't be hard on yourself. In my time apart i met an awesome woman that definitely made me forget the ex a little bit. I know you say not to block the person but i decided to. He´s dating someone else, actualy he left me for this person and only looks for me when he needs work. It´s so depressing. So I decided to block and I´m so much better now. Focusing on me and my work, my projects and dreams. Maybe love is not for me..and thats fine.

Let's say you both had other relatonships and you bumped into each other and had a good time. I'd say you can break NC in such cases... and in case of unfinished business.

well , my ex apologized for me and told me that she loves me a lot and to remember that . known that she dumped me for being to kind with her 1 month ago .. so i did a little no contact rule which made her crazy because we both work in the same store , now the problem is that she thinks that i'm in a relation with another girl .. and she wont believe that im not in a relation with that girl , she's just an old friend of mine . so what to do now ? lol

Just curious tho, posting having fun pictures to share with friends or posting to get EX jealous, I can't tell much different tho. I photograph different girls and document wedding, so I post to share my works and having fun, but not to impress her. I am not trying to get her jealous, I guess it's depended how she takes it??? I kinda can’t do no contact since she’s going to my highschool, and I also don’t wanna be an asshole and not salute her, but just that, saying “Hi” or “Hello” whenever we pass by eachother.
If he reaches out how should I respond not to mess up my chances. And if we do meet up to improve the attraction as Im not sure what else I can give that will make a massive diffrence for him to change his (stubborn) mind?

Hey Coach Rory. We broke up for 12days now. i went no contact ang he kept reaching out to me 2days from the time that we broke up. He kept texting calling ang sending me chat msgs. Like he can't stop thinking of me, that i always come into his mind, that he misses me, asking me how i was, he kept apologizing and asked where i was the past days since i disappeared all of a sudden. I responded 4days after with "im okay and you?" That he is also always in mind and "im glad you're thinking about me. I miss you too" then he responded he responded with good morning right after. The communication keeps going but i always respond after couple of hours, i dont respond right away. Now, im worried i messed up and that he is now treating me as his friend only so i went back to no contact again. His last message was few hrs earlier asking me again how i was. I just replied with the same im okay and you? Then until now i dont know what his response was since i again went No contact. Im not sure what to do now. did i mess up? Is he seeing me as just a friend now? i also asked him "what can i do about that?" When he said i am always on his mind and he responded with, "i dont know" he clearly still doesnt know what he wants. He broke up with me bec. He isnt sure about me, that he still craves other women that he doesnt want to hurt me one day bec. He is tempted with other women, that he cant cheat on me and cant hurt me bec. Im such a good person. He told me he still loves me but it isnt that strong to continue with our rel. we were only together for a month but it was a serious and loving rel. When we move on that's when they contact us

well i deleted only picture of us from facebook (profile picture) , she deleted the same picture month ago when we broke up ,but look she dumped me and first off she blocked me on msnger then after two months blocked me on facebook too , soon after i change profile picture from us too only me .... and she blocked me so idk im in full no contact since then , if she want to reach out i told her u can always fell free to reach out and talk about anything with me
i didn't delete facebook pictures, but i hid/untagged them all; i thought we had to or they couldn't get separation anxiety. pretty sure i heard that somewhere (Craig Kenneth, i'm looking at you).
Rory I made the first mistake, deleting her picture from the recent post. And funny enough, I've been thinking about it. She has blocked me, but someone happened to comment on that exact post a few weeks back, and I think she saw that I deleted her picture. And more recently, when I was at a friend's place, drinking, I couldnt help but take a peek at her profile, and saw that all my pictures were deleted. Not a tress. She's been going out on dates I've come to know and I was still going strong, with no contact. I digested her news of going on dates like a champion. But I think this recent mistake really messed things up. Did it mess things up? I deleted her rest of the pictures too later. I just couldn't hold my anger back then. I think some supernatural power is working against me lol. What are the odds that the spam account would comment on that specific post, while other pictures of us together were intact. I'm kinda feeling low, missing her.
If I leave the pictures of us up on Instagram, will they think I’m still not over them?
Tbh I'm tired of waiting. He unblocked me after a month of NC, He has my number saved but doesn't seem to be texting. I don't understand why he has my number saved if he's never going to text? He could've rather deleted it. I guess It was better when i was blocked, at least i wasn't expecting anything. I feel like moving on now though.

ignacia conejero For him to tell you out the blue wasn’t out of respect, it was spite, you could have found out in other ways later on, it wasn’t as if you were constantly contacting him.The NC May have annoyed him so he went into a rebound. You are better off without him, please look after yourself, work on yourself and focus on you.

Hi , my ex and i had an argument in wich he hates me and last time we spoke it had been one month since we broken up . i said i have faults i know im sorry but he acted like shit to me and i said ok seems like you hate me and if u want me not to talk to you its ok . I don't think so. If you're sure that this is the reason for your break up, then maybe you should reach out and let him know that you are willing to make an effort. Because no contact will only confirm that you don't care, which is what caused the break up in the first place.

It's my birthday and I got his birthday wish in late morning. I replied him a thank you after like 30 mins later. We were in no contact for 4 mths after the breakup so was kinda surprise to receive his text. I didn't know what esle to say even though I miss him alot. The hurt was deep...basically I got moody the whole day after the text. I had a mix feeling - happy and sad.I just text him a good night just now.
