Man, Stevo is an awesome drummer! Very creative and technical drummer. I really miss him but Frank is great as well, he's drumming on Goddamn I'm dead again is just pure awesomeness!
+ngc2005 really! I also grew up with them, but after the indian and the best drumer in Can left, I felt so pity for them, but my support will go on 4ever
I noticed that too. On right an left channels. I would love a quick guitar lesson from both of them. Dave has tone that’s awesome. Don’t know if it’s a pedal or not. He is the metal King, Love them both. My favorite band. The Gold top that Tom plays I saw Deryck play it years before. I study them!!!
Man, they were in their early 20's and look at them killing it. Deryck's amazing voice and rhythm playing, Dave's killer, fast and energetic solos, Stevo's double bass and crazy fills, and Cone's low-end bass foundation. I love this lineup a lot. This is their prime.
Dude 100% agreed. Dont know how many times i had this on my TV connected to my stereo on full volume back in early 2000´s. Still as good today, energetic and nostalgical.
+TheLovee4musicc From what I heard they are back and better than ever...haven't seen them live yet but Dave just rejoined the band like 12 days ago, and they are working on a new album. Deryck is healthy and not getting wasted anymore, so I expect he will sound a lot better from now on. I'm very excited to see these guys live when they come back to Chicago.
the most that I'm shocked is that they did it almost without rest in between, especially for Derick! it would be really tired for them, but they just did it !
That lead guitarist literally has Deicide speed when he wants it, and that first song is basically early 2000s era BFMV type metalcore. They're a great fucking band, period.
I dont know if you know Daves history, but he left the band late 2000's because he was not being fulfilled in the music they were playing. Cant fault him really, because he is easily one of the best players of his era if not all time. His technical abilities were wasted a bit. Although Sum41 has some metal based b sides called Reign In Pain, WWVll 1&2 on does this look infected that I think is the peak of their musical ability. Pretty good stuff. If they had released a full metal album it would have been an all time great.
Not to start any kinda controversy because I enjoy both bands but I came here from a video of a Blink-182 concert and holly crap the energy level of this concert is just so much higher that its insane! These guys really give it their all on that stage, its looks like crazy fun, going to a Sum 41 concert is officially on my to-do list!
I miss these days. Sum 41 was passionate and they had all their members. If only Tom Thacker had joined them back then. Deryck could have focused on singing and keyboards and Tom Rhythm Guitar. They were also younger so you could feel their energy. I loved these days.

This exact live performance of No Brains... Made it my favourite Sum 41 song!
Damn... Deryck's voice and guitar playing is so great when he's not drunk :S
It's sad but true 😶
