Aahhhh.. 2003... That time when they toured DTLI? and they were coming to a city that was 300km (~200 miles) from where I lived. I was only 16 and my mom forbids me to go that far for « a stupid show ». Took the train anyway and lived what’s still one of the best moment of my life. When back home she was so fucking mad at me and i couldn’t leave home for months (except for school ofc). Fucking worth it.
Late reaction after 6 years but you did absolutely the right thing! I wish i was a teenager at that time and saw them in the early years but I’m from 95 so yeah… sick dude!
I remember this was the first sum 41 song I was introduced to way back in the day, this live version specifically! Watched all the road to ruins shortly after, Saw them live in Northcote a couple months still as good as ever!
Never seen a performance like this from them before... would it be bold to say that this is Sum 41 at their absolute pinnacle of live performances?? Like at times, this sounds like a recording
First time I saw them live in 2002. Last time was 2019 and I have to say they sound better than in these days. derycks voice changed a lot, from the technical side he now is a much better singer than he was at these days (his worst time was when he was drunk all time around 2010-2013). But yeah this performance in this video is absolutely great!
He is so fucking young and mad here. I can feel this energy, it's unreal. Young Deryck is so fucking amazing, i don't care what he was using, speed, or tonn of Jack. SUM41 still alive, amazing band, my favourite band, i started listening these guys when i was 7. Amazing voice here, the best moment of his voice. Can't wait to see them in Kiev.
he crecido escuchando a esta banda la mejor que he podido escuchar desde el 2001 con 6 años viendo el video de fat lip ahora han pasado 14 años son geniales
The solo on In Too Deep reminds me of how important Dave was to this band. I've always thought of Tom as a really good technical guitar player, but he can never play Dave's solo's with the same soul that Dave does.
Whats great about this, is its genuinely a live performance. Theres no post-production work on it. They messup lyrics, hit wrong notes, and its all the better for it. I hate it went a 'live' album or dvd is fixed in editing
TEOMAN DAN SÖYLÜYOR - & SUM 41 (Full Show) Sake Bombs and Happy Endings 5:32 Teşekkür ediyoruz Dedi ki Ömer Şafi Aktaş Teoman Fazlı Yakupoğlu Elektro Gitarda Geri Vokalde 🎉🎉
Nah, i like Screaming Bloody Murder. It has amazing guitar riffs, and the new guitarist really isn't that bad. Plus, Deryck's voice on that record sounds quite powerful. And in the "Underclass Hero" era, Deryck's voice got better in live, especially acoustic shows. So, i disagree.
A band is good. The lead singer stops playing guitar. Then they get a backup live guitarist and change lineup heavily. The band is shit. This is how it goes
I love this concert so, so much.

wow I just discover this concert. Deryck's voice used to be so punk !!
2021 and still listening to this awesome concert
Man, 32:35 has been giving me goosebumps for almost 20 years now..
WOW!!

The same 😊
Damnnn, just listened and that was intense.
I have this show on dvd and I watched it over and over again back in the day as a teenager
So good. Saw this band live during this era. Best gig of my life
look at that skull in the background. i didn't know it dated back to DTLI in 2002, I thought it was always for 13 Voices in 2016
You just made my day. Thanks! :D
Mr. Amsterdam is such a good opener!
Literally perfect. No reason is also really good from chuck
You're welcome mate! ;)

@@mTwMarco Agreed, only wish they played more songs of All Killer and Infected though.
heavily edited obviously for the DVD ....
Much better live nowadays. However, the music was better in the DTLI/Chuck era
the best days

I don't think he did drugs, maybe indeed a ton of Jack though
@@bittaraemaulana4276 yep

This concert is awesome I watch it a lot. Love Sum 41

Love how they play every song from Does this look infected in this show.. Except for Billy spleen. aw well
I was disappointed they didn’t play billy spleen but pretty sure this tour was for DTLI so it’d make sense that it was the majority of songs
snare sounds tight af.
This is amazing playing so fast. I watch every UA-cam of Deryck that I can get. My favorite band ❤️🎸💋😎
THE BEST SHOW, YEAH
this is fuking amazing, im always seeing this live of sum >
Thanks so much for the upload :) You're awesome
Thanks for uploading! Sick vid
The best live of sum 41 !!!!!!! :D

Same as Blink 182

old good times when deryck still had a lot of voice and energy
He sounds better now the he ever had before , 2010 to 2013 was the dark time
Dude, he sounds 10 times better now.
I always thought Stevo shoulda had a bigger role in singing. His voice was great
to focused on the drumming
He would have made a better front man than deryck
Luke Williams #2 lol, no.
wow thanks dude this is sum 41 at its best time!
the good times of sum 41...
One of their best live shows 🔥😎 Deryck nailed it on every song… Jesus
awesome :)
Me hubiera encantado estar en ese concierto !! :')
apoyo tu comentario... lo veo una y otra ves y creo que es uno de los mejores de sum41...saludos! buen gusto!!!

Esses caras são o máximo
Damn this is an awesome show :D
Cones Bass tone

I almost forgot, when they play p4p it's make sum 41 very special and different from the other bands, which deryck and stevo switch positions

I wish they would make heavy metal songs like they did on DTLI, Chuck & SBM :o
32:15 - 33:30
THIS IS THE GREATESTSHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT EVER
They dont even understand but yeah a bit awkward :D
Lol what happend to this sum 41? Oh yeah Dave left

A lot of bands do this and I hate it. A bands core can never be broken. It never feels the same
