Big shoutout to Brett for coming to the AMMO Studio and helping out with the detail! This Subaru will be up for auction with the proceeds going to Special Olympics. Let us know what car you’d like to see detailed & donated next! Check out the Subaru here: www.ebay.com/itm/266605567569
Forget detailing Ferraris, Lamborghinis, or Bentlys…….this is the most awesome video from Ammo to date. Educational, for charity, and the way you helped and worked with Brett….. gives us everyday people a kick in the butt to do something good. Thank you for that!
Great video Larry! Great to see you support such a great cause. It looked like Brett had a great time. Thank you for taking the time to teach him so many cool things!
What an excellent way to support such a good cause! I love your videos Larry, but I also love how much you give back. Such wholesome content and example of how to use your platform for greater things
Love that you’re doing this! My brother is in special Olympics! As someone who works in the automotive industry I can’t tell you what it means that you donated your time, not only to work on this car but the time you spent teaching Brett! I’ve always admired you and your desire to be the best and now I have even greater admiration for you!
I wish I could come to your studio Larry. I am 12 years old and I got obsessed with power washing and cleaning cars. I started watching your videos since 2020 an now I usually clean my parents to cars for them when we need to and its not too bad. But when the cars are covered in mud I just help . You and Chris fix changed my life thank you.
Another great video and really appreciate how you took the time to show Brett the ropes on detailing. Also the fact that you treated him like a real person and not someone who is fragile. I really bet he was stoked to be part of your video. Hopefully that car brings good money to the charity, as you did a top notch job. Keep up the awesome work.
I used to love cleaning my car on a Sunday! Spent hours washing them (30 years ago). I used to use all the wrong tools. Washing up liquid (when I ran out of Turtle-wax wash) and always dropped the sponge! Great content and cause! Thanks for sharing! 💙
Way to go Larry 👏 Thank you for bringing awareness to this cause, and the program enabling people to donate a car to the charity of their choice. I always appreciate your content showing community involvement and charitable works 👍 God bless 🙏🏽
Spin the air, like the slide in a shelter skelter, so the air is already turning and should slow down the vacuuming forces, but aid the blasting of the dirt. Because if you look at a tornado the dirt is literally blasted away when they touch down.
Why I have seen online is that a sander without the sandpaper is great for rugs and carpets plus mats. As the sander vibrates you hoover the bits that arise to the top. It’s amazing
Special Olympics is awesome. We used to go to a place in Alubquerque NM, Tim's Place, which was the first restaurant owned and operated by a person with Down's Syndrome. It was an awesome place, but the best was Tim. He'd tell anyone who'd listen that he had more gold medals the Michael Phelps. I also like watching the powerlifting competition, and those athletes LIFT. I'm always impressed.
Awesome video, total respect for the way you treated your guest. Pity not everybody does this, in respect towards others who struggle with what we take for granted.
I love that Brett picked up on everything so quickly and was enthusiastic about cleaning and detailing the car. Great work guys and great to do it for charity! Hope it sells high!
Another great clean up video of a more attainable car. We got a used 2011 Sti in the deep purple blue colour for my son’s first car, before he was old enough to drive. He learned to drive standard in it at 15 and got his learners license the day of his 16h birthday. The hatch back and awd allowed him to have hockey goalie gear in there and he travelled and lived in a province over playing junior with this car. He detailed the snot out of it and that deep blue paint was gorgeous. He changed the exhaust system as well, in the driveway, and it had a great sti burble, not too obnoxious. Had to sell and move up to a pick up truck but very fond memories of the sti…FYI make sure the timing belt has been changed and watch the power steering reservoir can crack and leak.
Awesome one, in the military we’d do volunteer event while deployed to friendly places. My bro on my gun team, his brother is autistic but lifts in the special Olympics. I’ve volunteered for every event within driving distance since I’ve been out. Cheers simply awesome
so cool, she just needed some love and she's ready for a new home. and i love how you can donate you car and make someone happy and in the meantime help "special" people having a better life. it's just awesome to watch you two detail it lol.
I've said it before, I'll say it again. God bless you Larry. Good comes to those who do good upon others, fantastic work for a fantastic charity that I believe was started by Eunice Kennedy, a New England native. Great work, great to see.
Larry, your work is always exceptional, and love watching your videos. I didn't see it in this video, so forgive me if you do it. When you clean the windows, specifically the door windows. Cars that have frame windows i would recommend after cleaning the window, roll the window down a little to clean the top part, or after all that hard work when the windows get put down there will be a visibly hard line of clean vs dirty. I know your attention to detail is phenomenal, and this often goes missed by many people.
This is the most I’ve ever smiled on one of your videos Larry. Brett was a natural! God bless you buddy! Good people are hard to find. But you are one, and you seem to attract them.
End result looks great. You're an amazing teacher as well. I would love to learn how to detail from someone such as yourself. The shop is super clean and progressive too!
It’s one of my dream cars to own I like seeing it done professionally and as a Subaru owner I was waiting for ammo nyc to do one other than a suv dream met lol
Jeeeeeeeeeeeeez… patience of a saint with that old clear bra!! 🥵🥵🥵 Kudos to you and the previous owner for helping to support such a great cause, and another inspiring detail video!
I owned one of these in 08. I paid less than 40k for it. They couldn't give them away. I traded it in a year later for a 2008 nismo z. Brand new. I think I got 29k on trade in. Today these cars are going for crazy cash
Larry, I have just now an Idea thaat I can't st it because here in Portugal, not so many cars have clearbraw, but.. here is the idea... Well, to remove all kinds of glue I aalways use acetona (dont know the exact word, but... thing that lays use to remove the vernice from theis nails) 👍😁 So... iniciate the peal of the clear with the same methode you use to... hot water+cloth+pacience... and then, ager you pick up a gentle pience of plastic, tryu to use the acetona to peal back the rest of the plastic... hummm ??? give me some feedback... I always see your episodes of your fantastic car detailing channel/program a big thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Cheers

Hey ammo did your car detailing game came to console?
Larry is a natural teacher and it is very heart warming to watch. Thank you.

This video put a smile on my face Brett looked like he had a blast helping you with the detail. Hope you get to do this more often.
As someone who works with special needs individuals, and owns 3 Subaru's, this is my favorite video on UA-cam right now. Well done Larry.
What an excellent way to support such a good cause! I love your videos Larry, but I also love how much you give back. Such wholesome content and example of how to use your platform for greater things
Thanks so much!
@@AMMO-NYChey man wazup I like your UA-cam videos on that Subaru STI

Larry, as a teacher I so appreciate your kindness and care you take in explaining the detailing process. Well done!
I appreciate that!
who abandons a car like this? mind-boggling.
Then sees it for $48,000 buy price...Imagine that guys everyday life!
@@17vile probably donated for the tax relief.
Looking at the dirt on it, it doesn't look baked on for a year 🤔
Someone who doesn't appreciate cars
@@eugbrat The car looked like someone purposely tossed debris on it for the camera.
So good, 18 gold medals is some amazing stuff from Brett, what a legend.
Brett is legend!

My brother participated in the special Olympics. He has a few gold , silver and bronze medals. Thank you for doing this detail to help them out.
What a great story and a great video! That was so fun seeing Brett come in and help clean the car! Keep up the great work Larry!
as a fan of your channel with aspergers, and a Subaru fan, I really enjoyed this one. Thank you, man.
Brett is a natural talent. when he gets bored of tennis he could go into detailing.....
this show good people are still with us
As usual, Larry proving he's a class act. Loved this video. Was great seeing you teach someone else.
This is super sweet of you to have the tennis player help you!
Nice and clean history, 1 owner, 77k miles, but $48k is crazy😂
My older brother had down syndrome and passed in 2017, he used to run in special Olympics. Thanks for doing this for them.
Each video I understand more and more why you are the #1 Detailer on UA-cam. Episodes like this make it obvious why that’s so. Awesome video!
I used to love cleaning my car on a Sunday! Spent hours washing them (30 years ago). I used to use all the wrong tools. Washing up liquid (when I ran out of Turtle-wax wash) and always dropped the sponge! Great content and cause! Thanks for sharing! 💙
I love it when you do these kinds of details especially when the charity supports people with autism 😊
Thank you for doing this, one of my daughters is in the Special Olympics so this video is wonderful on many levels.
Thank you. Hope y ou are doing well. Love your channel too!
Where the hell is the LOVE button? This video is just great.

Made my day. Thanks Larry! As a bonus, this actually reminded me of some of the basics I have forgotten.
This one hurt my soil. I own a 2013 Sti hatch and I would cry to see mine like this. Much respect to the owner however for committing to the charity.
I love that you shared this video and I love that you support Special Olympics

Larry, you should try a gooseneck style water kettle, you'll get a little more control of the flow of water and more articulation.
Such a great ambassador for detailers. I donate portion of my profits to charities and love this idea of having someone help out and learn!
That's one of my favorite years of STI.
Love this so much! I went to school with Brett and he has always been a legend 🤩
I've been watching your channel for a long time now, Larry. Happy you've progressed and still do what you love.
WRX Hatch STI is a rare case of perfection. I"m a EVO guy, but common, it's amazing.
It's stories like this which bring up happy tears. ❤
I'm addicted to these videos and have started planning my own self detail of my car. Artisanal
larry youre literally an amazing person.
Great job by Brett and good on you for taking on jobs like this that help make a difference!
I love watching cars detailing, and it warms my heart when it's done for such a noble cause!

Best thing to do is clear coat the headlights after wet sanding, then sand back to remove orange peel and then compound and protect
You’re a good man, Larry.
You are a good teacher mate, a skill in itself Love a Subaru, it looks great again❤
Brett is such a Nice guy!! Greetings from Brazil.
I love this! Detailing to help humanity. This had to feel so good.
Great episode! ❤
Beautiful. Hope someone buys. Starting bid is no joke for what it is.
Gotta be honest, seems like Brett has more going on than I do. Now I'm wondering if i could have qualified for the Special Olympics.
Rest asure... same here and I think same goes for 90% of the people wasting their days on UA-cam and other social media.
According to the western culture you just have to identify as a disabled person then you're good to go.
How balling are you when you donate an STI Wagon? Props....
Love the video Larry. 100% mud dobber nest you found in the fender liner. Those f*cks will make nests anywhere!
Larry and AMMO NYC must be protected at all costs
Well done to everyone involved in this. great video and great cause !
Great Job Larry, you and Brett did an amazing job and Brett looked like he had fun.
Yes, you ARE CRAZY 🤣! But in the good kind of way, it's crazy how you rejuvenated this beauty! Thx for sharing.

as a 2011 sti owner in that exact color(c3s spark silver) this is the type of detailing i want to get for my car one day.
You’re awesome Larry. Love everything about this
What a nice feeling you must feel by doing this amazing job in an amazing car for such a nice action.
I would buy that car!!!
Cheers from Portugal!!!
Great job Larry! Another great story. Wish I had these great stories to tell. You always do a wonderful job.
That's a rare vehicle in America, the Subaru Impreza isn't a model that was common outside the UK and Japan 🙏
These are a dime a dozen with the vape boi racers in the US.
you did great with Brett so nice seeing this!
Great video for a good cause. Great job Larry!
AWESOME work on the car and with the support for charity. "Wax on, wax off"
Love this video! It warms my heart!
Pretty cool you managed to hit 2 things I like in one video WRX and Special Olympics
Very cool collaboration Larry
Amazing video!!!
