Fr, it's kinda stupid for people to put so much value in wanting to be in the "popular" houses (Griff or Slytherin.) Then they get mad when they chose the trait that best defines them as a person and be given their actual house in lore. they fr clowns. when i got the game booted up for the very first time i was so hyped and excited to play and take myself on an amazing adventure. i didn't care what house i was put in. i put my controller away and i really thought about my past, present, and future. i thought about all the good I've done. whether they were selfless acts or not. all the mistakes I've made. how I've had to grow as a person. all the progress I've made even tho it has taken me a lot of strength both physically and mentally. I belong in Gryffindor but i would accept any house whatsoever. it's about the journey in which you're about to take on and not what's most popular. i see myself living in that world and this is the first and closest we can get to that so obviously I'm gonna stay true to the kinda person i am. i even made my character look like me as much as i could. (i didn't even get a scar cause i don't have that. had i had that then sure i would have went with that)

I don't understand how anyone was surprised. There were two questions which were so obvious in which way the answers were going to go, and the second one rendered the first one pretty pointless anyway. The only way they could have made it more obvious is if they just had you pick from the four house options.

I think most people who play the game probably wouldn't be massive fans to that extent. Like, they might be familiar with the names of the houses from the books/movies, but not really remember the characteristics of each one.

I am a slytherin and I think hufflepuff is actually a pretty solid house. This happens when you don't link your accounts into the game where you can literally test yourself with an in-depth quiz for house, wand and even patronus. If you do those tests, the game will automaticall choose your house and wand for you according to those tests

What people want is a more extensive quiz that isn't as obvious, and then the choice in the end to accept the outcome or not, which is a more realistic experience.

As a slytherin, i think hufflepuffs are the best type of friends you can have. I almost wish the game didn't have the option to let you choose which house you would like - like, your choices permanently set you on the path of being a Hufflepuff, or a Slytherin, or a Gryffindor or a Ravenclaw. If you didn't like what you got, then you are forced to start from scratch again and choose your answers wisely next time.

Harry embodied several aspects of both houses but leaned Slytherin because the hat sensed Voldemort inside him. Harry didn't want Slytherin so the hat just shoved him in Gryffindor because that was the house closest to what the hat thought was ideal.

Just before the Battle of Hogwarts, the teachers were going to evacuate all the students until a Hufflepuff stood up and voiced a desire to fight as well. Students were then given a choice to fight or flee. Naturally, almost all the Gryffindors stayed and all the Slytherins fled. A handful of Ravenclaws stayed but nearly all of the Hufflepuffs remained to fight, the only House to rival Gryffindor in terms of numbers. The qualities that make you a Hufflepuff are much harder to bear than you'd think which makes them a very strong but frequently underestimated House.

I belong in Gryffindor but i would accept any house whatsoever. it's about the journey in which you're about to take on and not what's most popular. i see myself living in that world and this is the first and closest we can get to that so obviously I'm gonna stay true to the kinda person i am. i even made my character look like me as much as i could. (i didn't even get a scar cause i don't have that. had i had that then sure i would have went with that)

I love how they get mad at being a hufflepuff as if they didn’t choose it in a very basic set of answers
The reason why most people dont like Hufflepuff is because they are too nice and caring, and some people see that has weak and vulnerable (aka nice guys finish last) and people take advantage of them plus it also describes them as leftovers in the group,,,and nobody wants to be a leftover

I almost wish the game didn't have the option to let you choose which house you would like - like, your choices permanently set you on the path of being a Hufflepuff, or a Slytherin, or a Gryffindor or a Ravenclaw.
If you didn't like what you got, then you are forced to start from scratch again and choose your answers wisely next time.
I think it’s fine because you can pick what house you want to actually be in instead of spending 5 minutes trying to answer the right questions to get into the desired house. I guess they could make it optional for a real quiz but honestly their approach is better
It's literally why they have Pottermore, idk why anyone's surprised with a game like this. You want a detailed quiz for what you might fit into? Pottermore's got you? You wanna play the game? Just answer 2 questions and get right into, picking you're desired house. Especially in a case of a 2nd or 3rd time go-around
Finally, someone with common sense. Also, it's annoying to create multiple characters with different houses and have to retake Sorting Hat quiz everytime if they did implement it. This is a better approach
@@SoraRaida It fits with the lore of Harry Potter as well. Ultimately he ended up in Gryffindor because he WANTED to be in Gryffindor. If it was a matter of the hat choosing based solely on Harry's attributes, he could very well have ended up in Slytherin.
@@mr.battle20 from what I understand the hat takes your wants into consideration as well as the aspects you value or embody. Harry embodied several aspects of both houses but leaned Slytherin because the hat sensed Voldemort inside him. Harry didn't want Slytherin so the hat just shoved him in Gryffindor because that was the house closest to what the hat thought was ideal.

Pottermore Quiz is the only legitimate quiz. All other Quizzes are so obvious. On Pottermore at least some Options don`t give you a clue where you`re going to be sorted.
Thats why the ingame one sucks.
The sorting hat quiz is copyrighted by pottermore. Its why the one in game is gutted so your forced to go on the website

I love how a bunch of them said "ride or die!" like gangstas and then got upset ride or die house was hufflepuff. To be fair to hufflepuff in this game- they have by far the only common room that feels like a place u could live. Im Sytherin and that common room is a human rights violation with the damp dark musty living conditions. It screams vitamin D deficiency and tuberculosis. Hufflepuff common room look like a hobbit hole.
Well, they can’t ask a million questions because the sorting hat just knows. The hat didn’t really ask people in the books/movies any real questions where it didn’t already know the answer. The only way to make it more realistic is to give it permission to access your search history and see your phone useage 👀😏.
I used to think lowly of Hufflepuff but now no. Now, I would choose Hufflepuff any chances I can get. Even my friends and cousins think I am one lol

I really expected a full personality quiz to come up during the sorting and not just 2 questions, one with clear sign of what goes to what.
I legit don't understand the Hufflepuff hate
It asks you ONE question that is literally just each house described in another word. 'Daring, ambition, loyalty or creativity' is just gryffindor, slytherin, hufflepuff and ravenclaw. Also, anyone who didn't figure that out, has NO business picking Ravenclaw as their house.
There was no real sorting in this, it was just 'which house do you wanna be in' and that's probably for the best in a game like this.

@@FloBro31 I knew that not everyone is potter-head but it’s not nice to say that this or that house is bad and you choosing it because you thought that you like being like that which means you voluntary choosing it so you have not right to complain about that and the question are pretty obvious the trait are really obvious if they are potter head or someone who at least remember harry potter house trait they’ll probably know that. Tbh I even like Hufflepuff I would love to be recognized as loyal and kindhearted. It’s not like being a Hufflepuff means you’re a failure.

Well it would be unrealistic, if it ask you a lot of questions. Usually it would only take a few seconds or a minute for the sorting hat to sort a student.
