Hermione's curse in dumbledore's army might sound ruthless but they were in a war and a traitor in their midst could get all of them killed very easily. So what she did was necessary
In the incident over Hermione's teeth you didn't mention Snape. By the time he came along her teeth had grown down to her collar-bone. When Harry and Ron pointed out what Draco's spell had done, Snape responded, 'I see no difference', causing Hermione to run crying to the hospital wing. THANK YOU for mentioning Harry repairing his wand!! This drove me INSANE about the movies. Not only that but I was shocked no one seemed to be talking about it!
Kreecher's redemption, where he becomes loyal to Harry after receiving Regulus Black's locket is one of my favorite parts in Deathly Hallows. It was so wholesome to see such a hateful character have some warmth rekindled in his cold old heart. I loved when the sent him to catch Mundungus, a mission that Kreecher could get behind. And I love how Kreecher started cleaning the house again and revealed that he is actually a skilled cook as well. It was so nice to see Number 12 Grimold Place become a little haven of warmth for Harry, Hermione and Ron.

They also gave Kreacher Regulus's locket - that is what made his attitude towards the Golden Trio change - he wore it as a badge of honor - and lead the house elves into battle in Regulus's name.
The journey that Slytherin's locket took is astounding. From Marvolo, to Merope, to Borgin and Burkes, to Hepzibah Smith, to Tom Riddle, to the basin, to Regulus, to Kreacher, to Mundungus, Umbridge, and lastly the trio.

I love how you cover all the special moments with Molly & Harry. Their relationship was so sweet and it wasn't addressed enough in the movies. As an adopted child, that relationship really resonated with me. "Mom" isn't only the one that birthed you, it's the one that loves you unconditionally - Sometimes there's more than one. Harry had Lily & Molly both. BUT, you forgot about the scene between Harry & Cedric's Mom & Dad. That scene was very pivotal to so many things.
If they want this harry Potter show to succeed then I hope they leave absolutely nothing out. These new details would help differentiate it from the originals and give movie onlys a nice surprise
Even though I like Hermione in the movies, but I love Hermione's mischievous/bad side in the books. Mainly because it shows that she's not prefect and sometimes she's willing to break the rules if it's necessary.
My favorite moments from this video, is any time you mention Molly and Harry. I absolutely love that Molly was the mother Harry never had. She made him feel like family every step of the way. Making him gifts for Christmas, making sure he experienced a wizard’s tradition with the watch. Molly and the Weasley’s are the family Harry never had. Molly will always be my favorite character, for how much heart and love she poured out to Harry. She made him feel loved no matter what!!!🥹🥹😭😭
39:02 Funniest part was when when Peeves was determinedly trying to loosen a crystal chandelier, and McGonagall of all people happens to walk by, turn to him and whisper "it unscrews the other way"😂
Another thing I loved was that in half blood prince. Harry only uses half of the luck potion to persuade Slughorn. The remaining was used by the volunteering DA members who stayed behind to protect and patrol hogwarts when Dumbledore and Harry left to get the horcrux from the cave. All the patrolling students survived the fight because of that when the deatheaters attacked that night.
Yeah thats the one thing that pisses me off about the movies not showing him fix his original wand and then I think they should of showed him snap the Elder Wand afterwards.
Love the vids. Great job!!! If you are getting material for a next segment, how about mentioning: 1. The meeting between the two ministers, which, if memory serves, was Scrimgeour newly appointed, introducing himself to the muggle Prime Minister in his office. 2. Ron’s hilarious attempt to using a phone to call Harry 3. Narcissa Malfoy’s almost duel with (I think) Harry at Borgin & Burkes 4. You mentioned Krum being at Bill & Fleur’s wedding, but he also wanted to challenge Luna’s father to a duel because he was wearing the deathly hollows necklace. Krum interpreted it only as an allegiance to Grindelwald, given that he only knew his association with it and the crimes he committed, but not the true meaning of the symbol itself. He only expressed his desire to duel him, but obviously he didn’t act on it out of respect for B&F’s wedding.
This was very well done. I am a huge fan of both mediums, for very different reasons. I've read all the books no less than 15 times and I've lost count of how many times I've seen the movies. All this to say that I feel very qualified in saying you have done a better job of pointing out these "left out" moments than any other creator I've seen.
12:33 The thing that surprises me is that Harry never offered or went out of his way to try and help Ron replace his broken wand considering he could have done so and not even noticed the missing gold and Ron is not the one to say no to that he would agree and promise to make it up to him
Yea I see your point. But its mentioned that Ron didn‘t like exepting money or expensive gifts from Harry (Goblet of fire). So I don’t think Ron wouldn‘t let Harry pay for a new wand
I would love to see part 6 of your facts that moviegoers would never know without reading the book. I wouldn’t say Luna hated Harry. Yeah she was miffed as the others about Harry being allowed to compete both as a minor, and as a second champion for Hogwarts. But it was him rescuing Gabrielle in the second task that changed her opinion on him. Though that also makes me add: why was Gabrielle even there for the tri-wizard tournament? She was 8 in the books, and all the students that went to hogwarts for the tournament were all 17 at minimum. Also why were Durmstrang and Beauxbatons single sex when both schools had male and female students. I hate the more I think about it, the more I don’t like the films.
@@Gowthamp-rd6iz In the Prisoner of Azkaban movie, Bem was the one who explained what the Grim is. In the novel, Trelawney was the one to explained the Grim.
@@tgiacin435 You mean Fleur? Actually, Fleur did call Harry a "little boy" in the book, upon learning that Harry was the 4th Champion, to which Harry felt offended by this. When Harry saved Gabrielle from the Lake, only then did Fleur started to become nicer to him. Also, we don't meet Luna until Book 5, and the Triwizard Tournament took place in Book 4 (I'm sure Luna was watching the Tournament off screen, before Rowling decided to put her in the story). In addition, Luna did believe Harry about Voldemort's return and while Harry did find Luna a bit weird, he was fine with her from the start.
When you take all aspects into account Harry slicing Draco to ribbons in that duel was a merciful thing Because if Draco had managed to cast that curse, he'd be looking at a life sentence in Azkaban and I'm sure when he looks back on it, he's happy it turned out the way it did because Harry technically saved his life in that moment
You forgot one of the biggest things that Harry Potter fans don't know if they only have seen the movie. In the book we read the last words of Fred weasley and also know how he died and who killed him but in the movies we see him the last time alive as the battle started and then we only get to see a dead body.
Morgan please take care of yourself, I hope that comment about being an alcoholic was a joke but if not please know we love your work and what you have done and we cannot wait for the great content you will make in the future, Harry Potter or not ❤
Some cases when they turn books into movies. If you haven't read the book, the movie is far more enjoyable for you But if you have read the book and you watched the movie you get to pick every little detail that they got wrong or missed out on
They did Dobby wrong in the movies He went from a linchpin character to a side note and if all you watched was the movies You don't even know why you're supposed to be sad about his death 12:12
The filmmakers probably thought "Oh, Dobby does not need to play a part in later instalments, no one will miss Dobby. Everyone is happy that we cut his character out." But when Deathly Hallows Book came out, Warner Bros realized they really REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY screwed up BIG TIME (to put it mildly) upon realizing that Dobby is a key supporting character and received a full scale backlash from book readers alike. With the TV series being made, WB cannot cut Dobby's character down whatsoever like in the films and they are now forced to make sure that Dobby appears in Chamber of Secrets, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows seasons.
I know you didn't know I would be up at 1am, needing something to listen to in the background as I frantically pack for my vacation that I leave for in 7 hours, but you still delivered 👏👏👏 thanks for being the reason I can focus tonight
1:05:23 Technically, there's a 4th House Elf It was that 1 who worked 4 the woman who was the Last decedent of Huffelpuff. The 1 who Voldy killed to get the cup 4 the Horcrux
Morgan, I thought there was a scene after Serious died, Harry had a conversation with Sir Nicholas about death and becoming a ghost or other options. Great videos.
Adding that The Chamber of Secrets when they got caught after Norbert (Norberta) was taken away by Charlie Weasley's friends from the Astronomy Tower, it was Harry, Hermione and Neville who received punishment from Professor McGonagall; not Ron Weasley. That's because Ron was in the Hospital Wing because he injured his hand. Neville was caught because he was trying to warn Harry and Hermione. So Gryffindor lost 150 points in one shot. ***I meant Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone.
It was Philosopher's Stone/Sorcerer's Stone, not Chamber of Secrets. But at least Harry, Ron, Hermione and Neville regained all their lost points and help Gryffindor win the House Cup.
You would think that having gone to school together and both serving the dark lord in different ways that Snape might have noticed wormtail still being alive and at the school
Been following your channel for not very long, but still love the way you research stuff and how you convey it in your videos... dont know if you have done a video like this but could I propose one where you talk about harry potters cast??? Like what would you think are good castings for the harry potter movies and who didnt you like (doesnt really matter if you liked it or if it was replaced, bur who were good casts to convey their role, which are lacking ans etc...) Hope you see this comment. :) hahahah
Yes, Krum caught the Snitch at the World Cup Final. And Hermione's reaction was how brave Krum was. If she hadn't thought he was brave, she would not have accepted Krum's invitation to the Yule Ball. (Even back in their 2nd year she did not have a crush on Lockhart because he was handsome, but because she believed Lockhart's books and thought he was very brave.)
At the wedding of bill & fleur - Krum got into a row about the death hallow symbol - krum says it was grindelwalds mark. Hermione said there was no mention of that grindelwald had a mark. Although in the fantastic beast movies grindelwald sort of used it as his mark
29:40 we also see the Acromantula in the backgrounds a couple times in the deathly hallows part 2 while the trio is running through the battle of Hogwarts
I guess they don't have to think twice about being overly physical with another person because you could magically fix it as long as they're not dead 21:04
Hagrid vs Aurors scene should be like that Aurors hits some attacking spells on Hagrid but it has no effect one of them ricochet into on one of the aurors and knocking him down. Hagrid kicks a knocked out body of the auror like a ball into Umbridge and knockes her down. Then with powerful kicks and punches he knocking down all other aurors. After that all of them are going to St Mungo Hospital for extended period of time and Hagrid almost didn`t even feel it. That would show that Hagrid can be a real badass when you irritate him. Hagrid compared to normal people in terms of physical abilities is like adult male compared to 7 years old boys
Hermione's curse in dumbledore's army might sound ruthless but they were in a war and a traitor in their midst could get all of them killed very easily. So what she did was necessary
Keep in mind that most people kill traitors
In the incident over Hermione's teeth you didn't mention Snape. By the time he came along her teeth had grown down to her collar-bone. In addition, Luna did believe Harry about Voldemort's return and while Harry did find Luna a bit weird, he was fine with her from the start.
@@hiddenfan-37 oh the fat black kid right
Listening to the audiobooks every night to go to sleep to for the last 20 years has prepared me for this...
I already know all these facts but can't pass up an opportunity for another movieflame video
When you take all aspects into account Harry slicing Draco to ribbons in that duel was a merciful thing
Because if Draco had managed to cast that curse, he'd be looking at a life sentence in Azkaban and I'm sure when he looks back on it, he's happy it turned out the way it did because Harry technically saved his life in that moment
Cut to Hagrid and Fang playing fetch with a bone Fang found in the garden 😂😂😂
I just love the irony of Voldemort being a half-blood himself lol
Had to give a like, just for the dedication.!! Awesome channel.!!
I love that you put them all together. Stuck at the hospital with my baby boy and I’ve been passing out to your videos.
Congratulations on the baby boy, I hope you're both home soon💐
@kellysouter4381 thank you!💛
Hoping for a discharge date soon! 🤞🏽 🤞🏽
19:17 stay strong Morgan
You forgot one of the biggest things that Harry Potter fans don't know if they only have seen the movie. In the book we read the last words of Fred weasley and also know how he died and who killed him but in the movies we see him the last time alive as the battle started and then we only get to see a dead body.
the fact that stunning spells just bounce off of Hagrid is probably my favorite fact of the whole series
I thank you so much for making these videos. 👏👍
You know it’s gonna be a good day when Movieflames’ up with a new video 😊
Hey. The best compilation istg. Love your videos. Your dedication is admirable. Have a great day❤. Can't wait for your next video/ compilation
Thank you for putting this together
FINALLY YOU POSTED I’ve been waiting for more Harry Potter ❤
Same
Same
Thank you for combining these.
In the new upcoming show I need to see Charlie enter the battle riding an army of dragons after the all is lost moment, hell yeah
Morgan please take care of yourself, I hope that comment about being an alcoholic was a joke but if not please know we love your work and what you have done and we cannot wait for the great content you will make in the future, Harry Potter or not ❤
This is why I love reading books more than watching movies, especially Harry Potter. The movies don't show half the things the book shows.
Yea I'm forcefully restraining myself to not watch his facts vids until I read the books myself
I’m reading the illustrated books great experience
Love the dedication xx
If I remember right, Harry breaking Moody's eye off the door is what gave away that there were intruders in the Ministry
Petition to make Morgan the official lore consultant for EVERY AND ANY future Wizarding World projects
👇🏼
I love the video thank you so much for all the content and it being top quality content every time ❤❤
1:07:23 Wasn't Lee Jordan shown in the first move as the caster of the quiddich game ?
@@KrUmPa1231 And he also took aging potion with the Weasley twins to try and put his name into the goblet of fire.
Some cases when they turn books into movies. If you haven't read the book, the movie is far more enjoyable for you
But if you have read the book and you watched the movie you get to pick every little detail that they got wrong or missed out on
Another gem for my sleep playlist! Yay!
This is incredible
They did Dobby wrong in the movies
He went from a linchpin character to a side note and if all you watched was the movies You don't even know why you're supposed to be sad about his death 12:12
@hiddenfan-37 If they don't screw the show up
And given the trajectory of every other media in the last couple years, they probably will
I watched all 5 of these videos when they were released, but no way I’m skipping a compilation.
Finally some really Long Form Harry content to Fall asleep to🙏
I know you didn't know I would be up at 1am, needing something to listen to in the background as I frantically pack for my vacation that I leave for in 7 hours, but you still delivered 👏👏👏 thanks for being the reason I can focus tonight
That was good thank you for all of your hard work!!!🌹🌹
I’ve read the books but still watched this video I just love your vids

Technically, there's a 4th House Elf
It was that 1 who worked 4 the woman who was the Last decedent of Huffelpuff. The 1 who Voldy killed to get the cup 4 the Horcrux
He doesn't kill her. He frames that house elf for her mistresses death. Makes it look like she poisoned the old lady.
@ yea
That elf
45:09 Ollivander's disdain for Krum's wand in particular was also partly fueled by his family's longstanding rivalry with the Gregorovich family.
They should've had Percy be the Weasley who died in the war instead of Fred imo
Morgan, I thought there was a scene after Serious died, Harry had a conversation with Sir Nicholas about death and becoming a ghost or other options. Great videos.
LOVE this! I played the whole thing while I cleaned and did laundry. Thank you so much!!
@hiddenfan-37 you're right. Thanks.
Well done my friend! I just love your content.
Surprisingly there actually is an epilogue at the end of Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets that shows Lockhart in the newspaper in a hospital
You would think that having gone to school together and both serving the dark lord in different ways that Snape might have noticed wormtail still being alive and at the school
love these vids man I have the 1st 2nd 4th 6th and 7th book but not the rest working on it! also love these vids
You're the best Morgan!!!
:) hahahah
This video is so informational! Thank you!
These videos have been awesome
THE COMP IS FINALLY HERE😩
29:40 we also see the Acromantula in the backgrounds a couple times in the deathly hallows part 2 while the trio is running through the battle of Hogwarts
That Sneak curse of Hermione's was ingenious ! It shut Marietta Edgcombe mouth ^^
this is a great refresher because I started a rewatching marathon of the movies and forgot a majority of details
I will forever hate Snape 4 telling Voldy the prophecy
Thats the name Hermony used when they got caught in the first Deathly Hollows Penelope Clearwater.
I guess they don't have to think twice about being overly physical with another person because you could magically fix it as long as they're not dead 21:04
Love these videos
