This was exactly the review I was looking for! Thank you so much for showing both screen options side by side in your studio and outside. I ordered the nano texture display and got a bit nervous about the slightly dulled color contrast but watching this review really gave me peace of mind. I’ll be using the iPad almost exclusively on the go so this was a great comparison to see!
I got excited that Justine was showing the new smartfolio cases, but quickly disappointed that she didnt show it standing up. They added a new angle to the case to make it sit more upright.

Apple is really hell bent on charging impossible prices for their stuff. Like high end performance laptop prices for a tablet.
I agree I have the iPad Pro M1 with a Logitech keyboard case I have zero reason to upgrade, that being said it suits my needs perfectly and does absolutely everything I needed to do so I can’t complain at all. The M1 is an extremely good ship and most of the tech reviewers
on UA-cam are not upgrading from their M1 because it is a tablet and the M1 is more than fast enough for a tablet unless you want the latest and greatest features with the pencil, which I can understand if you’re a professional artist or an artist student

@@THMN09 yes and no it means I’m satisfied, but it means Apple has a hell of a marketing department and will sell a absolute ton of these units and make a ton of money. I can see artists using this and buying it and keeping it for a long time just like I’m keeping mine for years. It’s only obsolete until it no longer does what you needed to.

@@JohnSmith-pn2vl it’s only not obvious if you don’t look at the price but yeah if you fully spec out an iPad Pro it’s like 4500 + US currency with all the accessories. me personally I have an iPad M1 that I bought refurbished from Apple with an external hard drive and that’s all I need for my personal computing needs. I like the touchscreen factor.

Very excited about the new iPads Pro with the nano textured finish! Used to always order my MacBook Pros with the matt finish. Love it on my Studio Display. It is so colorful and very much reflection/glare free - which can cause headaches in my case. Very excited! Love your reviews! ❤

Thank you for showing the nano texture and standard screen side by side. It looks like the colors still pops but the nano texture helps give the screen a clean look. I still plan on seeing for myself at the Apple Store to see the colors in person. Thanks for the review!

Thank you, iJustine for showing a good amount of side-by-side comparison between the two display finishes (something I've found frustratingly lacking in much of the coverage I've seen of the iPad Pros so far). I ordered the nano texture glass because I work, read and play outdoors on my iPad and have encountered non-trivial glare in the past but I was second-guessing my decision out of concern for the finish dulling the OLED contrast too much. After seeing some shots of your nano-texture glass outdoors (which confirms the benefits I'm hoping to get out of it) as well as in indoor lighting (where the contrast didn't appear to be as concerning as I was getting anxious over) I'm feeling a bit better about my decision.
As usual, your review is deceptively simple in its presentation. I enjoyed the short hands-on of Final Cut on iPad Pro

I have the iPad 2018 and I still don’t see much that makes me want to uograde. That’s pretty insane given it’s nearly 6 years old. It seems iPhones are the more worthy upgrades

Wow, that multi angle editing feature is 🔥 That HAS to be Super time saving, like crazy! Oh, and my niece is also an expert with her touch editing tool on her iPad. Kinda jealous, lol.
Justine is such a talented individual. I find myself watching her videos even when I am not in the market for the products. So just looking at that pink chair, I’m thinking where she found it.
All you need is a matte screen protector and you are in the same ballpark while saving hundreds of dollars lol
Opting for the new nano-texture glass will drastically reduce glare while reducing the frostiness and washed-out colors that are often the compromise made when opting for a matte screen protector.
@@k.vn.k I still think you're compromising some contrast with the nano-texture glass. Most of us use a screen protector anyway, making the nano-texture glass a moot point. I'd be curious to see a side-by-side comparison of the nano-texture screen with a matte screen protector.

Exactly!!! To me, the matte screen protectors give a better image because you don’t have the glare from glossy screens. Reminds of watching a movie on a projector screen instead of a tv.

I already ordered the 1TB version of the M4 iPad Pro 12.9" but now I'm really rethinking my decision not to get the nano-texture screen. That looks so impressive!
Lots of things to like. The roll is fantastic if you paint. OLED is great for image quality and of course faster can sometimes be useful.
This is the unboxing review I look for when I’m questioning my life choices of ordering one as soon as the keynote is over

Im so glad you posted this bc I am on the verge of crying since I have to buy a new iPad Pro, Magic Pencil, MacBook Pro , Apple Watch, and my AirPods after my car got broken into with my backpack which had all of that in it since I had barely gotten out of the theatre I perform at…. I’m gonna be in so much debt… well anyways I was stressing out about which iPad to start saving up for 😮💨🙈
If you have good credit, sign up for the costco citi credit card. They have something called flex pay that allows you to finance for up to 24 months with no interest or fees if you buy it at costco or their website. The apple card is great for financing too. Did you use Find My to track them?
The nano texture gives me the same gripe as I have with the monitors. It washes out contrast of dark tones a bit and makes it ever so slightly fuzzy to read text. Best is to compare them in the Apple Store side by side if you can.

My decision has been made. I’ve decided to go with my M4 iPad Pro 13 inch in Silver. But I’m holding off with Apple Pencil Pro, and Magic Keyboard. But I got my new Otter Box Case for my M4 iPad Pro 13 inch. Also I’m keeping my iPad Mini as a backup. Also when I go on trips with my mom, I’m handing my iPad mini to my mom just for movies and shows.

So I’ve pre ordered the 13 inch pro with standard glass. I’m a tv binger so I didn’t think I needed Nano tech unless I was outside more than inside which isn’t likely. I got the Smart Folio flip cover but thinking about the Magic Keyboard. I’m not a student so I don’t think it’ll be worth it. Same with the pencil. It’ll just be for accessory reasons
For the nano texture ipad, do you think a screen protector is still needed?? Will that texture go away with time?? So far that one has my attention, I wish they would do pros in colors, or at least different metal colors

And, does it look like matte screen protectors? I work outside from time to time, so I’m interested in the nano tech. I’m glad you really like the way the nano texture one looks. This will be my first nano texture Apple display. It wasn’t as much choice as it was that it was all AT&T offered when I pre-ordered. I’m really big on displays having vivid saturated colors and great contrast so it made me nervous. But it sounds like it’s going to be okay. 😊
Don't listen to her. She never says anything negative about apple products. Plus she has no idea what she is talking about. Shes extremely misleading. You won't like that matte display. It won't look as good as the standard display. Blacks won't be as inky. Plus there's a reason why there's a cloth included in the matte version. Matte displays are harder to maintain. So you need that special cloth.
I put my old iPad and my new iPad side by side, and my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and compared. The nano-texture looks fine to me! The difference with nano-texture is barely perceptible. I think it's a great display. Justine was right!

Does the matte feel like paper? If so then I’ll probably get the standard. Because my husband gave me his handme down screen protector and he said it was like paper. And so I didn’t end up liking it 😅😅. And I feel it dimmed the display and made videos less crisp.

Ok so tell me if I’m wrong, but I feel like the nano texture is cool. But couldn’t you just get a paper like screen protector for the same results? Also wondering if it’s possible to use a screen protector over the nano textured screen.
I only use my iPad in landscape mode and I have the iPad Pro 11 inch generation two and it drives me nuts have sometimes using Face ID to get into my iPad doesn’t work because the camera is not in the centre like this new iPad so I’m glad they put that there
I enjoyed the review Justine! Do you see the nano-texture as a paperlike replacement? Also curious your thoughts on the M4 chip difference between the 512GB and the 1TB, I ordered the 512 but on the fence of upgrading to the 1TB. Not a need storage wise but tempting especially knowing the spec bump in M4 chips. I am not a big editor, more not-taking & video consumption.
