My 190k mile Bmw E39 540i left me stranded!! Let's troubleshoot codes P1345, P1343, P0363

Today, we will be troubleshooting my daily driver that left me for dead! The three codes I pulled were, P1345, P1343 and P0363. Let's pull it apart and see what we find!

for everyone whose here a year later... never ever ever let your BMW get that low on gas/fuel... it will throw codes (nonsense codes too), the light is on and pegged to "E", pumps will be ruined if they have to work that hard to supply a low supply of fuel, that applies to any fuel injected car.

You definitely got a good point here. However this Fuel pump was the original one I pulled out after and after 18 years and 192K miles it was time for a new one.

So what can I do to fix that, im throwing a p1345 code and wondering if its my fuel filter, i hope its not low compression. How can i fix the misfire i have. What is broken?

ive already changed, plugs, cam sensor, f vent vacc line, cleaned injectors, not sure if it’s my coils or fuel pump/ filter related

its probably your cam pos sensor. and or exhaust inlet sensor im kinda going through the same issue atm

Thanks bro car died other night I went back where I parked it filled some gas in it n hit the fuel pump near it under the car n it fired up after cranking a min, had a quarter tank gonna scan it tm n see if it’s okay. Guessing might need a fuel pump soon
