EmergeNYC Upstate FIRST LOOK - Quint, Tanker, New Map & Forest Fires

- EmergeNYC Upstate is a new update coming soon for EmergeNYC.
You may have already heard we will be adding a new map to EmergeNYC. The map has already been completed and is a much smaller, spread out, and rural based environment with a main interstate, small downtown area, and plenty of forest and farm land for a wide variety of different types of emergencies. Our goal with this map is to appeal to the audience who prefers small towns and rural areas over large urban landscapes like our current Manhattan map. Units on this new map will be completely fictional and different from our NYC based units currently.
There will be approximately 5 volunteer fire department vehicles including a Tanker, Quint, and brush truck with the ability to respond to the station with your own customizable POV. A small police force, and a fire department based ambulance will also be included.
This new environment gives us the opportunity to experiment with new emergencies such as brush fires, missing people, and more. Our main goal with this new map is to provide a breath of fresh air to our players, especially those who are from areas like this. A reminder, as many may complain that we should be focused on more important things. This map was provided at no cost to us, generously by Unity. No hours have been put into creating it, only shaping it to fit into what we are trying to accomplish with this update. We aim to have the first version of this new map playable by the beginning of the Steam Summer Sale next month. - Авто та транспорт
I can’t wait for this! Small town FD is more of my style and hopefully since it’s a smaller map it will improve the performance when i play it
This looks awesome the only thing I'd add is traffic advisors to the back of the quint
Roto ray and powercall this is probably the best update i seen so far keep up the good work cant wait for it to be released

This looks really cool and I think it's a great addition to the game. However, I also think that the devs might wanna fix the main issues first (bugs, camera handling), before releasing new content.
Map was provided for free by unity... they didnt do anything to make the map

Only thing I find being a issue is even when you are on the highway it still sounds like the sirens are echoing off of buildings like it does in a city.
exactly cause this game was mainly made for the city. the brakes still sound worn out.
Jdomenick45 the brakes could sound worn out because it's a small town so they don't necessarily have time or money to redo the brakes
@@mevfd1769 I volunteer with a rural fire department in Berkeley county and we don't receive the funds like a city department and we may have time, but these thing's aren't like your car where you can do it yourself. We require mechanic's who work on big truck's.

Truly a dream come true! I've wanted a game that you can have a pov and respond to the station and now its here when the update comes out I will be found on my computer at all times lol

Looks like you guys stepped up your game that's good knowing that flashing lights is also doing the same looked like you guys were falling behind but as I can see I was wrong nice work
I cant wait until you actually work on the game mechanics the poor controls the low tech graphics the poor bot drivers and the being able to drive though the map kinda crap other wise it looks good so far
cap no all part of an early access pre alpha game my friend. We are always working on it
While EmergeNYC has insane truck detail, Flashing Lights actually loads and multiplayer works. I think it's insane they are working on more new content, when you can't even balance volume. Nor have a multiplayer room where the lag is manageable. Or controls that work. I'm not even trying to hate. I bought into this game, and I see the potential. I hope it gets there. But, the journey feels misguided and some real obvious things get overlooked.
@@FlipSwitchGamesOfficial Raf, I've seen pre-alpha games with the number of developers you have, that were twice as stable. You've got to face that you have a lot of disappointed customers.

Perhaps a tiller Quint would be better suited for those bendy tight corners? Love this addition - such an unusual surprise!
You should make it so that its volunteer firefighters and you get calls and respond to the station in a pov that you can make to your liking from cars to trucks to suv, from whelen to federal signal etc.
THIS gave me the chills...born and raised in a small town like this..I would LOVE to promote this game on my twitch channel and encourage the continued support! Damn fine work...your making this firefighter proud.
Please, make the roads more like U.S. roads, not European.
Actually most counties in Upstate New York really have roads like this so it's pretty realistic

Would love to see some better optimization, since I meet the requirements and surpass them, but still runs terrible, can’t even get above 0.25 FPS

I think Buffalo or Niagara Falls would have been a better choice than a fictional rendition simply named "Upstate". However I support the developers hard work to make the player group happy.
this was map was made by unity and given to them, they did not make this map.
On the first truck Wheels in the back need to poke out lil more they looked pushed in overall very very nice
Why does the city look European?
it's a complete asset provided by unity to emergenyc for free, so it's designed to look somewhat "neutral" - american terrain with european roads sorta

I hope you will also fix the settings page which does save anything in the controller settings. It is really annoying that you have to disable joysticks and others device each time you start the game

I would go with a different tanker most places have tankers that can seat 8 firefighters 7 pack seats but good to see the new update
Really wish this came to consoles. Probably would play this everyday.

You say you hope to have it up by the Steam Summer Sale. Does this mean we will have to pay like a separate game or is that just the benchmark you're aiming for? Also, will the lack of buildings/skyscrapers improve FPS?
FireTruckBuff8298 the update is completely free to anyone who already has the game. The goal with this map is to have better performance overall with the lack of a huge complex and detailed map

This game by far seems more realistic among other firefighting games i've come across. The detailing on the truck is amazing. Only issue is, its very laggy for me and running on c 2060 Graphics card with 32GB Ram, Gigabyte B450 D3SH Motherboard, 256gb ssd card.
This is probably the coolest addition to this game. But will there eventually be more trucks added?
I hope there's brushbreaker in the game to.
Just a tip make the roads have less curves I can barely get too calls with the POV and I can’t get through the roads with the quint
Montgomery County shows promise for wildlands firefighting, an implementation of hand tools like hoes, saws, and drip torches, would be wicked, the ability to cut line and drop retardant from the skies would really give a good feeling of the Hotshot lifestyle and dynamics of wildfires!
