Hope you all are enjoying your labor day. We spent the last week and weekend working on this demo hard to give you guys something nice.
In this debut game play video you will see a ton of new things. We have gotten a solid start on the mix of RTS with 3rd Person style game play as well as our UI design. We still have a ways to go to reach Pre-alpha state but we are nearing the tech demo period and are really excited to get that out to our Deluxe members soon. You will also see our enhanced traffic system which we have put over 50 hours into however it still needs work. Everything you see is very early and will be worked on extensively. We will let you see the rest for yourselves.

+FlipSwitch Games Hello. Just want to have 2 things fixed please. Compartment handles on right side of both new engines are missing. 2) Ladder 66's "FDNY" On the rigth side of the truck, The D is out of place! Love this game so far tho!
I like how you can hear the Pass Alarm going off at the end. As a Former Fire Fighter , these noises are forever in my mind.
I truly miss them days.
The sound was pretty low so I bumped it up a bit, until the Fire engine started honking HOLY FUCK

I'm "pumped" for this game, lol. I've been waiting for something like this for years, since LCPDFR was brand new in GTA IV. Can't wait to play it man, It already looks like a fantastic game! Very nice work so far!

This is definitely a must-have for me. I look forward to the first tech demo that will demonstrate various "antagonists". Fire being one. Rescue being another. Body health simulation (EMS) being a third. Various behavior patterns among Persons-of-interest (PD) being a fourth....
I hope that settings/parameters/tolerances are randomized in the sense that you can never assume two calls to be exact same, even when the report, location and first impression are identical.
Especially behavior of fire and patient health are two tech videos/demos I look forward to. Does temperature factor in? Can you get flashovers/backdrafts/firegas explosions? Is venting given its appropriate place in the fire fighting playbook?
And, of course, also looking forward to the video that showcases the equipment and doesn't magically transform a stopped vehicle into a fully deployed vehicle as in 02:34.

Once the game is completely done and after its been out for a while, do you plan to make mods for the game, like an LAFD mod or even a CFD mod, I think that would be cool with a game like this.

I'm totally in love to see this game grow, I live in NYC and this is exactly what happens. Hopefully you add more traffic depending on what borough you're at. I hope you guys are going to make a full map. I love how backup arrives witht he 2 engines, rescue, 2 ladders, 1 tower, and the battalion chief. You should add NYPD backup to close the streets and FDNY EMT or regular EMTS hospital area dependent (New York Presbyterian, Roosevelt, etc). The buses are on point, siren is on point, street layout, people watching, the ladders feet support. I just love it in whole. I am very excited, maybe I'll see my Bay Ridge fire engine 241 and Ladder 109 haha! Anyway great job I've seen the game progress. If you need anything I do ads for advertising, revamps for social media and websites and texturing for vehicles.

The early development pre-alpha verision is available on Steam right now! Currently driving trucks and exploring the city is all you can do! However by the end of Jan 2017 its planned to have a fire academy where you can fight fire and preform vehicle/subway rescues in the first person!!
Great game with a lot of potential! If you can succeed making this game, and put a fair price on it. I will without any doubt buy it! Best of luck!

Looks good. Concerned about optimisation though, might be a resource intensive game.
Don't be, it won't be Emergency 4, more on the level of newer games like Grand Theft Auto but we are putting a lot into optimization.

Understanding there is a lot of work that is probably left to be done, and that it can be slow moving at times. Is there gonna be a lot of focus on the actual fire fighting fundementals like stretching lines and taging hydrants, forcing doors, pulling ceilings, etc? I'm really excited to see the final product! great work man!

Looks great, with modding will there be modding allowed and if there is will it be very easy to say swap NY units with say Australian or British units
It's an emergency simulation game it's based in NY but you could also have say Chicago units that operate in a similar environment to the NY emergency services

OH MY GOD this looks amazing! One question, will you be able to control separate firemen and put out the fire yourself (in buildings and on ladders) and be able to drive individual rigs that are responding?

When you go into a fire it will be in first person to simulate the low visibility and environment better

Is it difficult coordinating your resources, like what firefighters will do what job, who's going to ventilate, who's on the attack etc, or is it kind of automated and you just take over if you want? I guess a better question to ask is, will there be a lot of micro management?

+OfficerUnlimited (kamryw927) +OfficerUnlimited (kamryw927) I have a great attention to audio detail, so if there's a weird audio mismatch in the footage and audio - I'll be sure to hear it. For example: at 3:46 when the camera moves to the next unit, once the unit passes the camera it does not sound like that unit is the sound source, as the audio continues to play on the left channel and does not seem to follow any of the same path as the unit. That's why I asked. Up until that point I couldn't tell the difference. So unless you have a credible source that proves otherwise, my initial assumption still remains.
IntrepidGaming Check the development updates on their channel for the most updated sounds, sirens, and other audio tapes. There is no need for them to clip audio in when the sirens they have already have the doppler effect and other varieties added.

Awesome demo. The only real complaint I have is at the last little video bit at the end showing all the trucks. It looks like all the lights are in unisen which just makes it look un-natural. Keep up the good work though.
