- The long awaited AI Update introduces a Real Time Strategy gameplay similar to the Emergency Series to EmergeNYC. This video shows the basics of how to operate with the new features and gameplay mechanics. This update will release to the public testing branch in the next week or two depending on any unexpected issues that may arise. Closed testing is going well and many bugs are being caught and fixed quickly to polish up the new experience for the public.

I am a massive fan of the emergency series, loved emergency 4. This shows a much more in depth version of emergency, i love the feature of being able to drive the truck to the fire if you want to, features such as being able to cut the roof open and stretching ladders to specific windows make this look so immersive. Incredible work and im so excited to try this update out! :)
This is a massive step forward for this game, after owning this and never playing it. Might now start to look at installing it as long as this progresses and the map actually gets finished as well. Good Work RAf this week

Love that we're getting a new update, but I think the game will be so much better if you add better hose mechanics: Hose following the player up the stairs, and not hanging out of a building. Also, I think a I speak for all players when I say this, but I hope for a map extension in the Brooklyn map, as well as added fires and EMS runs. Like Emergency 4, the game covered almost all of the Brooklyn burough, and I think an extension will make the game that much more enjoyable. Despite this, I am really looking forward to this new update.
Going along with the Brooklyn expansion they should also add both the bronx and queens boroughs as well
This was just what the game needed! I really like the top down control of units just like in emergency series.
But the fact that we have the possibility to go in and take control of all the units is key.
Been away for a while but will head straight back into this and try it out😃👏

Man thank you for the optimization I’ve had this game since it very first came out on my low end gaming laptop and I can honestly say I can finally play on Brooklyn with playable fps now !

What do you think about putting some more detail into the 9/11 memorial raf? It’s good as is but I’d love to see some fine details in it eventually. Might be something easier for you to work on and give yourself a break. Day one supporter of your work even before this game. Keep up the good work man.
I absolutely love this game, I was wondering if any of this AI features will be moved to montgomery county, as a volunteer firefighter in a rural area, I just really enjoy montgomery county and would to see the AI feature included in there

Question Raf, will there be a directory for how many units you send to a run like they do in New York City? Or will it be on the MDT when the specific call comes in?

LOVE THIS GAME!!!! Is there anyway to add music to fire stations while waiting for callout? or maybe have a character drive to work do his shift and drive home after work? lol either way badass game.
I just want to know are you ever going to touch the EMS even more and NYPD like how you promised from the very beginning because it only seems like you're only focussing on the fire department side of the game so could you let us know if you're ever going to look at the PD side of the game and give us more stuff for that side as well like call-outs and all that
@Jeff Nixon I don’t think so this is because thst will to much lag and you can roleplay calls for police such as when there are groups of people in Montgomery county near fires use the sheriff and roleplay as hid they are keeping them back. And for ems they have added an ems system and there are calls for them you just have to force them manually.
Update is looking very promising, but why is the demo graphics vastly different from in-game graphics? I haven't figured out how to get my game looking the same as in the gameplay demos, any tips how?
For the trucks with the PA300, do they use it as much as the trucks with the EQ2B or just at intersections and vehicles?
Just depends on the one driving or operating the siren. They do it everyday so it loses its fun flavor for some

I played today and I don't see firefighters getting out the truck 🚒...they open but nobody comes out? Help
I found a bug when there is a mayday, I am not able to heal the downed member sometimes.

Also a question I have is I’m playing on a 3070 with 64gb of ram for some reason the game is only using 25-30% of my graphics card and that’s why my fps is low any idea what I can do ?

For me the Ai firefighters dont show up when they leave the truck. Do you know if there is a way to fix this?

hay so i have something to say and some ideas as well first i will start with some call ideas first you should make a fire in a subway train there's fire in a subway car you have to put it out before it spreads throughout the other subway cars. rescue call idea derailed subway train people are stuck in the subway car you have to extract them out. another fire call idea fire in a garbage truck the back of a garbage truck is on fire you need to put it out. and here are some attention to detail ideas for the injured worker calls you should make a construction worker ped and for the cars that you can see in that are driving down the road you should put people in to make it look like someone is driving the car and not like the car is driving its self like taxis you should make it have passengers in the back sometimes 2 passengers in the back and sometimes non and you should make a traffic police ped in the NYPD tow trucks and have the other cars have only a driver or a driver and passenger and you should have kids in the school busses and you should make city busses driving around the map with a city bus driver ped and have passengers in the bus and some of the cars that you see parked on the side of the road you should make drive around the map and you should make subway trains go back and forth in the Manhattan and the Brooklen map with passengers on board with a subway train driver ped so it looks like someone is operating the train and you should add a different variety of peds walking down the street and ever since you added pullable ceiling you forgot the pull some of the light fixtures down like in the auto shop building and the kings laundry mat as well as the ceiling camera and you forgot the pulldown the light fixtures in the other laundry mat as well and a lot of houses and buildings are missing light fixtures inside because i like attention to detail in games like add lights switches in houses and buildings as well as wall outlets that give me an idea electrical fire a wall outlet was sparking and a electrical fire started you have to request the power to be cut before you can put water on the fire.

not every fire hydrant is yellow

Why do none of these videos actually explain how to spawn the AI in the first place? I can spawn vehicles but no AI

The game needs to be moved over the Unity UNREAL engine. Can barely play this game even on a decent PC build..
