If you were Diabetic, would your family still make fun of your dietary choices? If so, they need to be educated. Sorry to say, some people are just ignorant. I like your idea of having a plan for the holidays & sticking to it! It's only impossible IF you focus on the negatives. Way to go, Jay! 🎯 PS I always make Christmas cookies to give away but just don't eat them myself. Nothing wrong with traditions, we just need to learn to adapt. The day after Thanksgiving and day after Christmas, we can look back and be thankful we stuck to the plan!👍
I'm still unsure about my plan for Thanksgiving. The bright side is I'm incredibly good at fasting when no options are available 😂 but I seriously don't think I'll have a problem. 😊
I appreciate the gravy tip! I will try the heavy cream mixed with turkey drippings and chopped liver. Very creative. This video arrived just in time. Thank you Jay!!
I thought I would partake of a few bites here and there. I was looking forward to seeing if this would trigger a binge or if I could handle it. BUT the closer I get, for some reason, I can't think of anything I want a bite of - except for turkey!! I'm taking a pate with pork rinds for dipping as my appetizer. I do love cranberries so my one splurge is a cranberry goat cheese spread on rounds of smoked ham - I'm calling it dessert. Good luck to us both!!
I ALWAYS ask the host/ess what I can contribute to the meal, and whatever they ask, I contribute without hesitation...My key to staying on carnivore is, NOT to bring home any of My contributions ...as the saying goes, "What happens in Vegas...STAYS IN VEGAS"!!! 😊
I’m like a short order cook in my home for my family. All year long, carbs and more carbs. I eat my carnie in solo and without family time. Not thanksgiving. Just nope.

I think you did very well on Canadian Thanksgiving. I don't even remember it... nothing at all happened for me... I probably ate a can of tuna.
Thank you!
Those are some good tips. I'm too new to carnivore to try any tricks. I'm just gonna eat meat.
Good luck!
