We went to a pasta pizza restaurant last night for a child’s choice birthday. I was secretly concerned but ordered a small pizza with cheese egg bacon and assorted meats. I ate the top which I swear was a full bowl if I had measured it. I was totally satisfied, and felt I hadn’t eaten badly.🇦🇺
For the last 20 years, I haven't found a steak as good as what someone can make themselves at home. A little prep, a little forethought, a little technique and it will crush even the fanciest, $200 plate at a high-end restaurant. DON'T WASTE MONEY ON STEAK AT RESTAURANTS!!! Not only is it all overpriced, but a lot of them slather a crappy cut of meat in crappy seasonings that are inflammatory.
I've frequently ordered the 1/4 lb burger patties at Wendy's, usually 6 at a time. 3 times while waiting for my order the expediter has shouted out; "Doggie burgers for Beth!". Yep, that's me; "Woof woof" 🤣🐶
Really helpful content. Thanks, Laura. Here's my summary: The video titled "3 Carnivore Options for Eating Out" discusses three different carnivore options for eating out, including steak, burgers, and salmon. The speaker highlights the convenience and affordability of burgers as the easiest, cheapest, quickest, and most flexible option. Wing restaurants, on the other hand, are seen as a better option for carnivores, as traditional wings can be zero carbs and Buffalo Wild Wings cooks their wings in beef tallow. The video also provides recommendations on what to look for or avoid when choosing a restaurant, such as being cautious of salt, pepper, garlic, and high amounts of sugar in seasonings at barbecue restaurants."
On their App, McDonalds has by one, get one free double cheeseburgers. This is what I get most often. I just order it without ketchup and discard the buns. (Usually tossing them to the seagulls.) I end up with four patties and “cheese” for about $3.
Thanks Laura! 👍 1. I seek-out seafood restaurants when I travel. 2. Otherwise, it’s steak & eggs. 3. In a pinch, McDonalds’ regular hamburgers. 4. I do their short online survey to get BOGO’s.
@@debbiegreen6173 1. I agree. 👍 2. Always without cheese. 3. In fact, I don’t eat any kind of cheese. (Doesn’t agree with me.) 4. And it’s been awhile since I’ve been to McDonald’s. 5. Since I started 3 months ago, I’ve progressed to strict Carnivore except for Costco A2 full-fat plain yogurt. 6. If Laura can eat cheese, I can eat yogurt! 😉
Some Mcdonald's will sell a quarter pound patty alone for a much-reduced price of a quarter pounder. This is my road trip choice while driving on vacation.
One of my little "Nice restaurant" hacks....Go to their salad section and they always have the option to add a protein such as chicken, steak, shrimp...etc. for like $4 each or something.....So what i do is tell them..."Can i just have one of each of those ala carte proteins on a plate...Whatever the amount of that protein you would put on a salad, just throw that on a plate"....I have never had any restaurant turn me down....So then i get a plate of chicken, steak, and shrimp for like $12 bucks! :) :)
@@PainInTheGrAssPetWasteRemoval great suggestion. My favorite local Mom and Pop restaurant has a salad bar only option. Dry reasonable. Even has Danish favorite for my heritage, pickled herring, thin sliced roast, boiled eggs and liver paste. Yum yum!
I’m so happy to have seen this video. I hardly go out to eat since starting carnivore 6 months ago. I feel self conscious to order burger patties from fast food places but I think you’ve convinced me to try. Never even thought about wings! I make them at home but rarely order them out. Now I’ve got some options when I need to eat out. Thanks!😊
I remember travelling to salt lake city for work. One of the guys said he was jonesing for in and out burgers. Being from Canada I had never heard of it. It was a nice change from the fancier restaurants we get taken to on travel.
I also like in and out and Wendy’s. Personally like to hit up independent burger joints when I can. Thanks for the reminder of Buffalo Wild Wings, love that place!
I’m so glad you included Caldwell County! We absolutely love it there, but, being new to carnivore, I wasn’t sure if we were making the best choice in eating there. And I love the Flying Dutchman tip for In-N-Out, I got that from another of your videos and have ordered them several times now!
Thank you for your content Laura!!! My WOE is like yours and I’m constantly sharing your channel to everyone on all of the Facebook carnivore groups I’m on. Always look forward to your videos.
I wish restaurant, including fast food, would just offer carnivore meals so we don't have to go thru the "special order" routine. Like " I'd like Carnivore Meal #2 please"
I like Burger King whopper patties or McDonalds 1/4-pound patties or a grocery store organic rotisserie chicken if I have to eat out fast food. McDonalds for a fast food breakfast with an egg McMuffin no muffin & add extra Canadian bacon. I prefer a family restaruant as they are more accomodating on substituting though. I also like Texas Roadhouse, a good BBQ place & Cracker Barrel. Mongolian BBQ can be good because it's all-u-can-eat, you put your bowl together & they cook it with water for you on their grill. That's when you need your salt with you & even some butter as the meats & shrimp will be dry from cooking without any of their seed oils. They always have a big selection of thin sliced meats of: steak, chicken, pork loin, lamb, mussels, & shrimp.

Good vid, Laura! My choice of quick carnivore just depends -- there are several Hardee's in town, but only one of them seems to understand my order correctly, lol. The Culver's here are pretty good about getting it right, though. But I'd much prefer going to either of those, rather than an expensive burger restaurant. I can get twice the meat for less...
I love their traditional wings with the chipotle, barbecue rub, however, now that I look at the ingredients, I’m going to have to go with them plain. I love that they use beef tallow too! Where can I get the tiny Redmans shaker? That would be so awesome and handy to carry with me everywhere.
Thank you for the tips Laura. I learned about the In N Out options from you, and frequently order Flying Dutchman and mustard fried burgers. Love Buffalo Wild Wings too, but they are too pricy, so will go on Tuesdays to get the 2 for 1 deal.

I’ve been loving your recipe ideas Laura, my husband’s favourite is the chicken breasts dipped in egg wash and pork crackle then cooked in the AirFryer with a sprinkle of cheese over the top..Yummy, even I love eating them like this, so tasty, he wasn’t fussed with the Ricotta cheese cooked with the eggs and flipped over but I may of used too much Ricotta and he’s not fussed on the spicy sausages, unfortunately, it’s difficult to purchase Carnivore snacks like you can over there and the online stores you purchase most items from, don’t ship to Australia 🇦🇺, which makes it difficult, I’d love to get those chip things you were eating in your car in one of your videos but can’t find them here and they don’t ship internationally, but he’s been snacking just on Pork Crackle that I can purchase from our grocery stores, I always check the ingredients. Thank you for making these videos, they’ve helped me heaps. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺❤️❤️

I went to a Wendy’s here in south Anchorage AK and was told that was not allowed when I ordered 3 patty’s and 3 strips of bacon. Maybe I didn’t order it “right”. Not sure but it was very disappointing. If anyone has any advice I will try again.
Great video, thank you. I was vegetarian for nearly 30 years before going carnivore. I do struggle to find eating out options that offer pasture raised beef (I can't eat chicken or turkey and only occasionally can stomach eggs), and happy animals is something that remains very important to me. I went to a Wendy’s here in south Anchorage AK and was told that was not allowed when I ordered 3 patty’s and 3 strips of bacon. Maybe I didn’t order it “right”. Not sure but it was very disappointing. If anyone has any advice I will try again.
You have inspired me , thank you
Donalds, quarter pounder burgers with Redmond salt . Or Wendy’s double stack baconator for me.
Where did you buy the travel container that you use for butter, coarse salt and fine salt? (3 in 1)
Oh my goodness! I forgot about wings! Yummm
Great video, thank you. I was vegetarian for nearly 30 years before going carnivore. I do struggle to find eating out options that offer pasture raised beef (I can't eat chicken or turkey and only occasionally can stomach eggs), and happy animals is something that remains very important to me. Any suggestions?
Aren't fast foods using seed oils to clean there gridle? Or those cheeses are not good from fast foods
