Okay massive rant coming up... You're absolutely right, and I hate it so much... I have a Samsung tab S7+ right now and I love the damn thing. I've had it for almost four years, and what's so amazing about it is that is has an excellent OLED screen, 120hz refresh rate and the best pen. The iPad only has that now and people are wetting their trousers... Well ok, yeah the screen is amazing on the iPad but still, the screen on my tabS7+ looks amazing as well. And after 4 years it stills operates as brand new, it never feels slow. It has only recently begun to feel a bit sluggish in for example Lightroom. The keyboard case is great and you have a place to put your pen. WHY HASN'T APPLE SOLVED THIS AFTER ALL THIS TIME?! But here's the kicker, and this is what I'm most frustrated about.... I'm going to buy the iPad M4. And here's why: I absolutely love working on my tablet. I want to do all my work on my tablet, I kind of dislike my laptop now, that's how much I love my tablet. I only want to use a desktop with 2 screens for ultimate multitasking and power use, or use my tablet. But there's a big problem: I can't use any of the pro apps that I want to use on the Samsung... I want to edit on my tablet in resolve, which I love and use on my Mac, but I can't on Samsung. I want to write my scripts in Final Draft. Not available on Android. I want to use the full version of photoshop: no can do. I want to take notes in Goodnotes; well okay you can, but like you said, it kinda sucks on Samsung... And I absolutely hate all of this. Because I'm now going to switch back to Apple again (I used to have an iPad before I switched to Samsung) because I really want and need to use those apps. I'm going to spend more than 2K on a device that in some ways will be WORSE than my four year old tablet (the multitasking, the pen) or similar (120hz, OLED - kinda) only because my Samsung has no acces to the professional apps. Pffff. And I know why it is: Android releases about 500 devices each year and the app developers cannot optimize for so many devices, but they can optimize for the couple of Apple products. But I just WISH Samsung could make a lucrative deal with Blackmagic and Adobe and some other developers, that they could only optimize for their absolute flagship products like the Galaxy tab+ or Ultra. Because let's be honest: the Samsung Tab is the only actual competitor to the iPad. So forget about all the other crap, just fix it on the Tab. But that won't happen because Apple's deal is waaaaaay too good for them I guess and they probably don't want to bite the hand that feeds them. But here's the thing: I think they'd make good money from it. I would buy all of Samsungs stuff and persuade all my friends as well. Hell, I almost convinced some people to switch to Samsung phones before I started to change my mind (because op the iPad and Resolve/photoshop etc) because you know what: the phones are better as well! There's splitscreen, close all apps, swipe right to go back in every app etc. Why is there no splitscreen on iPhone!? Okay... rant finished. But for real, I think the iPad will be amazing as well. The optimization on the Apple stuff is absolutely amazing and I'm looking forward to have all my devices in the same ecosystem again. And that screen... you can professionally grade on it. Stunning. And the M4 will probably last for years. But dear god do I hope iPad OS 18 will make things better. I don't necessarily want Mac OS on a tablet, I don't think those two systems match well, but I hope the multitasking will be better and that they'll take the restraints of. And oh lord I just wish tablets would have a desktop. I dunno, I love working from my desktop. Anyhoe, sorry for the long post. Love your vids man, you're not one of those corporate shells that only says the good stuff to get shit for free. Keep up the good work!
I love seeing so much passion on this topic, unfortunately you are absolutely right it's why I use an iPad mini for my apple only work and a tab s 9+ for everything else it's hard leaving the apple ecosystem for pro apps so I just minimize it plus the iPad mini is IMO one of the best devices apple has ever made would kill for a mini pro with a m3 chip 120hz hdmi output etc I hope the EU regulations regarding sidelining allow for better flexibility on iPadOS like we have on andriod
App developers should definitely prioritize the Samsung Tab S lineup because productivity wise it outshines the iPad. I don't want to be placed in a position where I have to switch to Apple just because of a few apps that are exclusively available on ios.
Great post. I think Pro App is too often equated with Creative Professional App. For the vast majority of the knowledge workers and students, the Pro App is the browser and an office suite. The mobile OS browsers and office suites are so inferior to their desktop OS counterparts. The rise of the tablet in the general workforce and student populations was largely driven by weight and battery superiority to laptops. I think this whole conversation will change if the Snapdragon X Plus & Elite actually stick the landing.
Honestly, the pursuit for knowledge or degree shouldn't be limited by age. There was an 70+ish man in my country who passed the Bar exam. When he got interviewed, he said that ever since he was young, he always wanted to be a lawyer but circumstances in life didn't give him an opportunity to do so, not until after his retirement.
13:58 The key sentence 👌🏻 This is the first time I am convinced that the Galaxy Tab is better suited for me. I will have to wait a couple of years before my 10-year-old laptop retires. Thanks for the video. It helps.
1. There is nothing wrong with going back to school. I graduated from seminary at 40. Good for you Gary! 2. I traded my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra for an iPad Air m1. I did that because my entire family is in the Apple ecosystem, plus I am making the conscious shift to using a tablet as my only computer for livestream, video editing, etc, and the iPad Air is the device I could afford to make this shift.
Thanks! I'm actually really excited to get back at it. And that's something that keeps me firmly with apple too, my whole family has iPhones and its really easy to share access to subscriptions and other functions if we all stay together.
Great comparison, as usual. Both are great devices, but more than I need. I took advantage of the new iPad releases and picked up the iPad Air 5 when the price dropped to $399US.
Dang that's a great deal too. I've also been doing my note taking on the iPad 10th gen and I think you can do all the same work there for less than half the price.
I recently bought the iPadPro M4 13”. I use a foldable ProtoArc keyboard and Bluetooth Logitech Mx anywhere mouse. Can work on my laptop or tablet. Marked more sense for me to be able to use on multiple devices.great video
I agree with you. I prefer the Tab S9 because of its flexibility and customizability, especially when using Dex. I actually prefer the Samsung ecosystem because there are more devices that it is compatible with, including seamless switching between the earbuds and watches. I suppose it's a matter of which ecosystem you prefer, but I find iPadOS unnecessarily limiting. As for note-taking, I use Samsung Notes, which I find superior to Goodnotes.
Your videos are just so good. Your opinions are so honest and relatable. Even when I don't agree (and I agree a lot), it doesn't take away from the review. These kinds of reviews are for the 99.99% of people who buy these devices. People who use them in their daily life and are NOT comparing. If I have an iPhone and MacBook - get the iPad ...no-question. If not, the Samsung is the tablet de jure. It is not difficult, but people want to compare and say this one is slightly better than the other - if you are in the ecosystem .... you will not notice 'cos you will never have both. Why would anyone get both who is not reviewing them. They cost over $1000 each! Thanks for doing this so we don't have to.
This was a very good comparison. I've had both and while I've stuck with the iPad, mostly because of the ecosystem and slightly better aps, the Tab really impressed me in many ways that the iPad didn't. I also really loved the Samsung 2-in-1 book cover at the time - especially how you could separate the tablet from the keyboard but still keep the back cover on, as well as the way the 'book' kept the stylus in a secure place. I also preferred the feel of the Samsung stylus compared to the iPad pen, and that it also didn't need charging to use it for most things. I agree that the magic keyboard feels like it's constructed better, but it makes it so heavy in the end, which is not so good for transportation. They're both really good tablets and in the end it just comes down to how you want to use them, and I guess what ecosystem you are in.
I switched from the ipad pro to the samsung galaxy tab 3 years ago (I'm now on the tab 9 as well) and never looked back. One thing I've not see mentioned in the review is how you can still use the Samsung easily as tablet without detaching the case just flipping it over, which you cannot do with ipad pro, great when reading documents or books or viewing pictures on portrait mode. I just wish Dex would support natively 4k on external monitor, can be a bit blurry on those.
I have an older M1 Ipad pro, and the S9 Ultra. I end up using the S9 ultra more, not sure an oled screen / new processor brings anything new to the ipad for me. Superdisplay on Android / and a windows laptop make the S9 Ultra into a real time wacom pen display for another machine. Game changer. The ipad has it's uses, but I always feel more at home on the S9.
I have the same devices and since the day I got my S9 Ultra I have rarely headed to my iPad. Everything that I need to do works on both but I just prefer the Samsung. Even though it might be slower than the M1 let alone M4 but I never noticed that.
iPads in my opinion are too limited by their OS. It is like attaching Cycle Pedals to a Hatchback. iPadOS is limiting, even tho it might have a lot of power under the hood, it is of no use if I cannot harness it properly.
Four years ago I had the chance to get an iPad Pro and a galaxy tap S7 plus I chose the galaxy tab S7 plus and I absolutely regret it. I didn’t like the software. I didn’t make use of the pen only I enjoyed was watching movies on it because of the lovely screen, but overall it just doesn’t suit my needs iPad and iPadOS suit my needs much better as a content creator Samsung just isn’t up to snuff and certainly not good enough so I would say that a musician content creator or artists should pick iPad over not just Samsung but any android tablet.
I no longer use laptops, and have gone full tablet. It does the things I need it to do and I have an old desktop that hardly ever gets used n case I run into an issue. Lightweight, easy of use, long battery life, price for performance. been very happy with it
I have samsung tab s6, and it's my favorite tab, I don’t use laptops any more. I use it in the classroom all the time , the connectivity of Samsung tabs is something else. I have an sd card, 1TB, and I have everything there, movies, music, libraries... Now I m gon a buy S9, i am so excited!!!
Great comparison review, as usual! I decided not to upgrade my iPad this year, it's great as at what it does. I do have a Tab S9 and can actually get some more things done on it easier than the ipad. When I need more power or control I have my M3 Macbook Air. The beauty is when I travel for extended periods, I can load all 3 in my bag and not be weighed down.
And you didn't even get to expanding storage by adding an inexpensive SD Card to a Samsung tablet.... I use it for most of my tasks at the office and I still got my S7+
I just got my Tab S9 last week + keyboard with trackpad cover for 550$ for architecture work. Even though i was interested in the ipad too (for the apps), could never get a top tier Tablet for that price from apple. Ipad is cool, but +300$ just for the keyboard is mad (3 times the price of my desktop keyboard).
Haha this is no coincidence, I am 40 2 and going back to college again to living in Amsterdam. Inam not going to do my job until death so I am going to make a career switch! Much succes bro
You can also easily find the Tab s9 around the 500 to 600 dollar price point with deals or open box or with a plan, and the case gets heavily discounted as well I got my s9 for around 550$ 128gb open box and the case for standard price and got an sd card for 1tb all in all it cost me around 850$ to have this amazing device and still in my eyes as someone who tried both the ipad and the tab s9 the s9 is the better bargain unless you seriously require apples ecosystem which even then there are far better deals with previous models or used ones imo
I have the 11 inch M4 iPad Pro as well. I returned my Magic Keyboard just because of the weight alone. I didn’t need it. But, I was originally going to have this as my on-the-go device. After a week of carrying around the iPad in the Magic Keyboard, I just went ahead and got an ESR folio. It’s lighter and makes it much easier to travel with. Plus, it’s much cheaper than the apple folio.
Tried both tabs. Unfortunately, the tab S9 is just unusable for me since it is too reflective. It takes me out of whatever I’m doing. It also has a bluish tint which is very disconcerting.
It is WILD to me that Samsung hasn't addressed reducing reflectivity on their tablets. Tab S9 Plus owner here. Blue tint is gone when activating "eye comfort" (which mimics TrueTone for iPad).
@@easily_excitable it should be an easy fix too. Crossing my fingers they use the coating they used on the S24 Ultra on the S10 series. I’ll probably go back if they do that.
So I have the 2022 iPad pro 11 in a tab S7 Plus a tab S8 Plus a tab S7 and more when it comes to doing just basic tablet things the iPad is pretty good The aspect ratio is nice. When it comes to computing or doing any file management or multiple windows the Samsung is definitely a step ahead. Apple has some of the best processing and power but handcuffed by iPad OS
When you are working away from home with the tablet, are you working using Dex at all times? Could you talk about your usage when taking notes for example?
Samsung Notes has search, each for my chicken scratch writing. IIRC it even works on my now fairly old Tab S4. I'm currently switching between my Tab S7+, and Tab S9. I love how when I copy something on one device I can paste it on another. And messages on my phone (S21 Ultra) can be read on my tablets.
I use the S9 as a tablet and my M2 iPad Pro 12.9 for my digital illustration as well as photo/video editing. I do like the external SD card i can have with the Tab S9
I live in germany and recently bought the tab s9 128gb version with a free keyboard slim bookcover and screeb protector foil for 600€ (the tablet itself was discounted from its original 900€ the 256gb model had an original price of 1020€) So for 600€ i got: Tablet, S-Pen, Keyboard, Screen protector and I bought a 25€ 256gb SD card on top lol I really considered getting an ipad because I will take the tablet with me to the US but just looking at the price its like 3× as much for literally the same thing that I just write and annotate notes with and occasionally watch sth: Ipad M4: 1200€ Even the M2 I pad would still be 940€ Apple Pencil: 150€ Apple Keyboardcover: 350€ And apple products rarely get good discounts or discounts at all in retail so its 1700€ (1440€ with the old ipad) vs 600€ (625€) for tablets that are on the same level and the highest of their class, thats crazy.
I have a 2 saSamsung tablets and 2 Ipads 1 reg 1pro. People complain about Ipads not having a lot of pro apps Samsung has less. At least Apple has affinity
I got the IPad 10th Generation and I got the Smart Folio cover ! It is magnetic and I feel it might be a bit heavier. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks and sometimes the magnetic cover gets on my nerves! But I do have to say the IPad is less likely to come out of the cover which is good.
Hoping the function and ability of the OS on the iPad starts living up to the hardware! It can become frustrating. iPad has the potential to be a rock star.
File management mostly sucks on the iPad as of iPadOS17. Why does it still treat files and photos differently? Thanks for the comparison. I am considering switching to the S9 from an iPad Air. Android tablets now have early versions of GoodNotes and LumaFusion but I am not sure if they are ready.
It treating files and photos differently is annoying but outside of that I think it’s completely fine. I just hope they’ll make a “Photos” default folder in the file manager so all the photos pictures show up there
If I could go back before I got my iPad, I probably would have gotten a tabs9. Now after having my notes on good notes that won’t transfer over, I feel like I have to stay with iPad which sucks
At the end of the day it all comes down to use case scenarios. Dex is cool however it’s still limited in what it can do. When it comes down to hardware, App optimizations, pencil, keyboard and professional applications the IPad Pro is king. When it comes to watching media like UA-cam/movies or emulating games the Samsung is better.
I just want to say I have been rocking my disjointed devices. A windows PC, 8th gen iPad, and S21 ultra since 2021. My only main issue is I have to deal with lightning and USBC. I think I will still get an iPad instead of samsung tab when I update...not sure... The 21 ultra has dex mode so I don't see the benefit of having it on two devices. I also don't want any of the tablet keyboards. I prefer my full-length bluetooth keyboard and still touching with my finger instead of a track pad or mouse when on the go. I prefer docking into my Asus ProArt display when home.
My brother has the 11inch too and a lot of UA-camrs complain about how flimsy the Magic keyboard is when it is on your lap. Can you confirm the same for the 13th or was it why you exchanged it for the 11inch? Because I just sit on bed and do my work while I had my iPad 2018 with the Magic Keyboard which never failed me.
I get the sense that the iPad M4 Pro is the best tablet on the market, hands down. The Tab S9 is part tablet, part laptop. Depends on what you'd prefer.
Personally that 16:10 screen on the Samsung Tab is a big NO. I don’t know why, it just feels wrong when a tablet has a 16:10 screen. It’s weird to look at, weird to hold, and weird to use in landscape mode. I use a MacBook Pro for work, and it’s also 16:10 but that’s absolutely fine. I own two Android tablets, both of them have 16:10 screens, and they both feel weird to use compared with my iPads.
Look honestly both are leaders when it comes to tech , I find apple ecosystem synch seamlessly with all my other stuff and makes me feel less anxious. I tried last year to move to Samsung with the ultra 23 and lasted 3 months and felt super anxious
Wait till Samsung starts putting the new Snapdragon X Elite chips on their tablet then there is basically no competition, Samsung Tablets already do so much more with DeX and multitasking features but with a proper Desktop level chip like the X Elite that thing will literally be a laptop replacement moving forward if they can optimize Android for the chip
since when has anyone that's not an apple glazer ever say they have the best displays ever? They didn't even have 120hz 2k OLED's until just recently, on any of their displays... Like what?
full feature phone capability/app on android cellular tablets is something I don't hear mentioned often, I bought a cellular ipad only once, 10 years ago the original Air, only to realize I can;' really put my work sim inside, because it can't make calls.
Curious why you switched to the 11inch after you got the 13inch pro initially? I just ordered the 13 inch after a lot of contemplation. I checked them both out at the Apple Store and found that multitasking on the 13inch is just better. The bigger screen allows for more usability out of stage manager (which I never used on my older iPad Pro 11inch).
M2 Ipad air would be a better comparison to Tab s9 . Here in India Tab S9 cost 55000 rupees and Ipad air cost 60000 rupees. Plus you get a pen free with Tab S9.
I have an Ipad M2 ...but prefer my Samsung ULTRA 9 to watch videos ...it has a better screen ratio....might be time to get someone to sponsor you with a ......mic stand ...😅😅😅
The iPad Pro as a tablet is a superior device for digital illustration, animation, painting, etc as against the Samsung Galaxy tablet, in that it has spawned superior application software such as procreate, procreate dreams, etc and that’s scratching the surface, so far…..
Does your iPad overheat when you are handwriting in Apple notes? Mine does after a 5-10min and then start to have erros with the Apple Pencil and the battery drains faster. The heats is really bad the more i keep writing.
Why can’t Apple just a Mac OS lite? Similar to how Dex functions. So you get some kind of Linux Desktop experience (skinned for Apple) and you can switch between iOS Tablet mode and Mac OS lite desktop mode. Surely it can’t be that difficult.
What grainy screen? iPads always had the best screens, colour gamut and accuracy! You either meant the blue tinted low brightness tab or you’re living in another world!
Hi, been watching you for some time. Do you live in Washington State ? I am English and live in England. I have several cousins who are from Poulsbo. Do you know it?
It’s funny that you think the Magic Keyboard is heavy when it got lighter and now the 13in with the keyboard weighs less than the Macbook Air lol You probably would like the smart folio better since that’s the equivalent of the Samsung keyboard you used
I would argue the Galaxy Tab S5E is still a better value than iPad in 2024! Beautiful OLED screen. Really thin. Lighter than new iPad Pro 11. Great battery life. Oh yeah, and it's 20% or 30% of the iPad Pro price.
Multitasking. You can open floating multiple apps like a computer with dex and resize and move them anywhere you like. Plus you can extend it to a monitor. You can do stuff on that large monitor screen while you can use your tablet separately or make your tablet/phone your touch pad to control you larger display. Plus he mentioned good notes. Boy, I haven't tried it yet, but all I can say is that samsung notes is already insane! Though I often use google keep as my go to note because I can access them on my computers, phones, tablets (ipads included).
After my GCSEs I’m looking to buy an iPad Pro, and I’m not sure between getting the 13 inch or 11 inch, if I were to get the 11 inch I was wondering if it is worth also getting a monitor so I could use an external keyboard and mouse with the monitor and iPad while at home at my desk, but then I could just use the iPad when I’m at school for example. What do you think? Is there any point also getting a monitor, and should I go 11 inch or 13 inch?

Right? Its slow, its frustrating, and it feels like a giant dragon has punched me in the face every time I try it.
Thank you!! The biggest takeaway as a student is, if you’re buying an iPad, buy the 11inch. Thanks!!! 😊
And you didn't even get to expanding storage by adding an inexpensive SD Card to a Samsung tablet.... I use it for most of my tasks at the office and I still got my S7+
Samsung all the way. I switched this year from the iPad.
I am samsung user, but i really like ipad mini, why samsung did not release 8 inch respectable tablet.
Which one did you get?
I just got my Tab S9 last week + keyboard with trackpad cover for 550$ for architecture work. Even though i was interested in the ipad too (for the apps), could never get a top tier Tablet for that price from apple. Ipad is cool, but +300$ just for the keyboard is mad (3 times the price of my desktop keyboard).
Your videos are always entertaining. Keep it up!
Haha this is no coincidence, I am 40 2 and going back to college again to living in Amsterdam. Inam not going to do my job until death so I am going to make a career switch! Much succes bro
I'm also 40. And I'm inspired to go to school more now...I've been wanting to for a while now
Omg you've always been one of my long time favorite tech channels here. Congrats on starting college again!!!
Watching this on s9 bought it before ipad release didn't even regret a single day
You can also easily find the Tab s9 around the 500 to 600 dollar price point with deals or open box or with a plan, and the case gets heavily discounted as well I got my s9 for around 550$ 128gb open box and the case for standard price and got an sd card for 1tb all in all it cost me around 850$ to have this amazing device and still in my eyes as someone who tried both the ipad and the tab s9 the s9 is the better bargain unless you seriously require apples ecosystem which even then there are far better deals with previous models or used ones imo
I'm prob gona get both but the table don't have imessege and imesseg gsmes,ft, . Ima get the tsb for gaming and entertainment reasons
You could have tried the anti reflecting screen protector that they offer - it is hard to install though and can scratch relatively easily
I've had the ipad pro m1 and now I have the Galaxy tab S9+ which is hands down a better device overall
Very nice review I been on the fence very helpful👏👏👏
i am happy with my tablet, phone and PC rolled into one nice little Tab S9. I don't need the best tablet, just the best all round electronic companion
I use the S9 as a tablet and my M2 iPad Pro 12.9 for my digital illustration as well as photo/video editing. I do like the external SD card i can have with the Tab S9
Both are extraordinary tablets... I'd agree that the best one is the one that's in your preferred ecosystem.
I live in germany and recently bought the tab s9 128gb version with a free keyboard slim bookcover and screeb protector foil for 600€ (the tablet itself was discounted from its original 900€ the 256gb model had an original price of 1020€)
So for 600€ i got: Tablet, S-Pen, Keyboard, Screen protector and I bought a 25€ 256gb SD card on top lol
I really considered getting an ipad because I will take the tablet with me to the US but just looking at the price its like 3× as much for literally the same thing that I just write and annotate notes with and occasionally watch sth:
Ipad M4: 1200€
Even the M2 I pad would still be 940€
Apple Pencil: 150€
Apple Keyboardcover: 350€
And apple products rarely get good discounts or discounts at all in retail so its 1700€ (1440€ with the old ipad) vs 600€ (625€) for tablets that are on the same level and the highest of their class, thats crazy.
I have a 2 saSamsung tablets and 2 Ipads 1 reg 1pro.
People complain about Ipads not having a lot of pro apps Samsung has less. At least Apple has affinity
The bad thing about the Galaxy is that it runs Android. And very few Android apps are optimized for tablet. Sorry, not sorry.
The only thing you sold me on was that skill craft pen.
One big advantage the Samsung also has is the IP68 dust and water resistance.
I just hope they’ll make a “Photos” default folder in the file manager so all the photos pictures show up there
I think you can customize actions in Samsung notes with some extended air actions you can download for GoodLock
but Apple wants you to have a tablet and a computer at the same time
hiiii i have been watching for a while love the work keep it up
If I could go back before I got my iPad, I probably would have gotten a tabs9.
I wish Apple would release a Smart Keyboard Folio for the M4 iPads. No trackpad, but provides a decent keyboard and is lighter and cheaper.
There is an iPad folio for the m4 but like no keyboard but there is there again a iPad keyboard
very interesting comparison
I just want to say I have been rocking my disjointed devices. A windows PC, 8th gen iPad, and S21 ultra since 2021. My only main issue is I have to deal with lightning and USBC. I think I will still get an iPad instead of samsung tab when I update...not sure... The 21 ultra has dex mode so I don't see the benefit of having it on two devices. I also don't want any of the tablet keyboards. I prefer my full-length bluetooth keyboard and still touching with my finger instead of a track pad or mouse when on the go. I prefer docking into my Asus ProArt display when home.
Still rocking my tab s7+. Don't feel the need to upgrade yet. Maybe after tab S13?
Great balanced review
Which is best for watching movies and netflix, bit of mails and stuff.
For entertainment definetely the tab s9 because of its format
Except the display size, are the S9 have the same spec compare to S9+ and S9 ultra?
My brother has the 11inch too and a lot of UA-camrs complain about how flimsy the Magic keyboard is when it is on your lap. Can you confirm the same for the 13th or was it why you exchanged it for the 11inch? Because I just sit on bed and do my work while I had my iPad 2018 with the Magic Keyboard which never failed me.
This guy is real deal. 👍
I am contemplating the possibility of replacing my current iPad Pro 2018 model with a Samsung tablet as an alternative device.
I wonder who makes the apple screens.
Samsung
McDonald.
Thx for the high quality video. Congrats on going back to school. Never too late!
We can install windows emulator to Tab S9, the emulator is become very smooth now.. it can make the tablet even more productive
When’s that happening any news or reference article??
"1059 or whatever samsung feels like" 😂
since when has anyone that's not an apple glazer ever say they have the best displays ever? They didn't even have 120hz 2k OLED's until just recently, on any of their displays... Like what?
Going back to school at 40 🔥🔥🔥
I think you would have like it more if you got the ultra
I love you Everyday Dad. I cant wait for you to finish your school and get your degree in Sociology ❤
What are your thoughts on the longevity of the samsung tablet? I am interested in one but apparently it won't get updates after a few years?
if you get the S9 series, its gonna have OS updates until Android 17, and 5 years security updates.
Magic keyboard. Is it for children or?
I have the S9 and an older pro 11 (A series 6GB RAM). I love both and don't want to choose so I use both, each where it excells the most
Try the Doqo Keyboard Case for the Samsung Tab and I Guarantee it that you would love it
Tab s9 for me. I dont need daddy apple telling what i can or cant do.
I’m your daddy
Hey Everyday Dad - What’s your personal daily driver? Windows or Mac or Other?
full feature phone capability/app on android cellular tablets is something I don't hear mentioned often, I bought a cellular ipad only once, 10 years ago the original Air, only to realize I can;' really put my work sim inside, because it can't make calls.
Just a question, if we compared the IPad pro with Tab S9 Ultram what would be the outcome according to you...? Wuuldnt it be a fairer comparison
They always do this
M2 Ipad air would be a better comparison to Tab s9 . Here in India Tab S9 cost 55000 rupees and Ipad air cost 60000 rupees. Plus you get a pen free with Tab S9.
The ultra is a gigantic tablet and my 11inch iPad Pro is the same size as my tab s9.
I have an Ipad M2 ...but prefer my Samsung ULTRA 9 to watch videos ...it has a better screen ratio....might be time to get someone to sponsor you with a ......mic stand ...😅😅😅
1:10 I believe you mean the Ultra isn't ultra yet and needs another 4~5 year to be polished. Google should've worked on the tablet's OS well.
Because then people wouldn't buy their macbook airs if they did that.
did the grainy/mura screen on the ipad pro get fixed?
What grainy screen? iPads always had the best screens, colour gamut and accuracy! You either meant the blue tinted low brightness tab or you’re living in another world!
@@fmax3000New iPads have grainy screen issue. And since it is a hardware issue, I doubt it will ever be fixed.
Hi, been watching you for some time. Do you live in Washington State ? I am English and live in England. I have several cousins who are from Poulsbo. Do you know it?
iPad does not have a Dex experience, and the large screen is amazing....
The iPad Files app feels like a third party app trying to hack a file explorer. Need to change
It doesn't matter if i use a 25w or 45w samsung charger to the samsung galaxy tab s9 plus?
You will not find any major differences in charging speed. 25w is enough for the s9.
WTF? you're 40? There is no way you're 40 years old. You don't even look 40. Stop lying! lol Good on you bro!
It’s funny that you think the Magic Keyboard is heavy when it got lighter and now the 13in with the keyboard weighs less than the Macbook Air lol
You probably would like the smart folio better since that’s the equivalent of the Samsung keyboard you used
I would argue the Galaxy Tab S5E is still a better value than iPad in 2024! Beautiful OLED screen. Really thin. Lighter than new iPad Pro 11. Great battery life. Oh yeah, and it's 20% or 30% of the iPad Pro price.
I haven't used one of those, I might have to start looking back on older Samsung tablets.
To your points, keyboard case, stylus (last galaxy s that stylus was not included, but was available), and DEX are all available.
I really loved my S6 ehich just died but i like having cellular in my tablets and Samsung does not offer it in the S9 11.
What can you do on the Samsung Dex that can’t be done on the iPad?
@@realrk95 ok thanks, yeah if I get it, it will be my laptop replacement so do you reckon the 13 inch then?
if ur note taking, the 13 inch!
