It's a lot of money for me so I want to make sure I buy a good one with as much money saved as possible. Would you recommend me getting s9 ultra or S10 plus? or even s10 ultra? Samsung US has black friday sale on with 150 to $200 off. Do you think I should grab it or wait for the Christmas or post new year offers by samsung? Thanks. I'll appreciate your feedback.
I remember buying my 2020 tab s6 lite after your review. I got my last software update in may. So time for an upgrade I think. Normally I don't worry about it. But Samsung is offering a bonus 500 $ plus the actual 40. As Apparently that's all it's worth plus a keyboard cover so I think I will
Does it work well for multi-tasking? I am debating between tab s9 fe+(12.4 inch) and tab s9(11inch), tab s9 is alot more powerfull but idk if its worth the screen size sacrifice.
Just pulled the trigger on the S10 Ultra, picking it up tonight. Switching from the 11" S9. I really wanted the larger screen and with the trade in discount i get $500 for my S9. Plus Best Buy throws in a free keyboard folio worth $200. Still feels overpriced, but more tolerable. I would have gone with the S9 Ultra, but the 10 actually came out cheaper. Plus a big selling point to me is the less reflective display, which bugs me a lot on the S9. Now i only hope it won't be too large for my needs...
Dear Ivan. With my Tab S10+ and regarding its battery, I've noticed that every 6 minutes with the brightness at 60% and volume at 50%, the battery reduces approximately 1%. Do you consider it to be within a normal range?
It's quite clear that if you own the Galaxy Tab S9+ or Ultra, upgrading to the S10 isn't worthy. However, here's an interesting scenario: suppose you don't have a tablet, or you currently use an older model like the S7 or S6, and you're considering purchasing the S9 or S10. Naturally, if both have the same price, the S10 would be the better choice. But what if they're not? What's the minimum price difference that would still make the S10 a worthwhile investment? I think if the S10+ is 999, and the S9+ is 899, you should buy the S9+.
I have a s7 11 inch and will like to upgrade but don't know what to upgrade to. Not a fan of Amoled . Never had a 12 inch tablet before and the chipset the S10 series using is a concern to me. And I don't even want to talk about the price. Stuck at the moment

I think Samsung need to stop this ridiculous yearly hardware update cycle.... and instead focus more on software innovation. The yearly update cycle is resulting in higher prices each and every year and consumers are falling for this nonsense. Samsung I'm making approximately 50% net profit on all of these devices whereas it used to be closer to 30% just 6 years ago. Yet, there is barely any hardware improvement from one year to the next. We are talking 10 to 20% performance improvements and this is no different for Apple either. What I do think Samsung is missing is some of the software that Apple offers their consumers. Perhaps an office suite to compete with Microsoft Windows or that Apple office suite which comes on all their hardware even though it is distinctly average at best. Perhaps improving Samsubg Web Browser even more so it behaves more like a professional desktop browser rather than a limited mobile browser. One of the things putting me off buying another Samsung tablet is that it just isn't as good as the software experience when using Chrome OS on a Chromebook. The Web experience on Chrome OS is so much better than on Android. I run a web business and I simply cannot run it on Android. The web experience on Android browsers is appalling. The problem with Chrome OS, on the other hand, is that the hardware isn't good enough for my personal needs. Chromebooks tend to be underpowered with poor screens. This leaves me having to use laptop computers like Mac OS or Windows. I think it would be fantastic if Samsung could offer Chrome OS on their tablets alongside Android. This would make them amazing work machines. Despite the prices of these Samsung tablets, they are not really that good for many types of work. Most of the people who use them for work are just sending and receiving emails I think and doing some calendar scheduling. But business or productivity software is quite poor and even Apple provide much better solutions on their iPad OS platform. When you are charging $1,300 for a tablet, it cannot seriously just be a consumption or gaming device. It has to be more than this. I love my Samsung s24 Ultra but plugging it into an external monitor through the DEX interface still doesn't really allow me to do what I need to do. Yet I can achieve just about everything on a really basic Chromebook. I honestly think Samsung is missing a trick and needs to offer something more flexible than this current Android / mobile web browser offering. Especially when charging more than a MacBook Air for the Tab S10 ultra tablet. By the way, and in my opinion, even though I'm not a fan of iPad OS, it does feel much more like a real computer when operating through its web browser. Apple have done a far better job with Safari on mobile devices than what is currently available on Android web browsers. iPad OS Safari, despite not being perfect by any stretch of the imagination, is still far better than anything available on Android.
@bassheadlife492 as a mobile browser it is fine, arguably better than most. But it is not a desktop class browser like you would find on Windows, Mac OS or Chrome OS. It struggles to render websites and web applications that I use. For a $1,000 device, this just isn't good enough for me. Especially when a $200 Chromebook can do it. It has nothing to do with hardware before you start commenting, it is all about the software and the limitations of mobile operating systems. Mobile operating systems are basically for people who do not require average to high complexity computing operations. Tablets are simply recreational devices for playing games, reading and watching movies. I am very skeptical of anybody who claims that they are doing real professional grade work on these machines. Unlike I said, at $1,000 and even higher in Europe, this is the very least they should be offering.
2:14 They have one of their foldable smartphones that's basically a mini tablet it's about the size you want. Me personally I'm hoping for around a 16 inch tablet. Of course I use mine for art.
I would have to agree with you wanting a premium android tablet to compete with the iPad mini size. I have wanted this for years. But anyway keep up with your great work.
Users are unreasonable. Most users use tablets for watching videos, social media, email, web browsing, paying bills, and other trivial things. A faster processor update is already a good update. If you're a serious user, don't get a tablet. Get a real computer. For now, a tablet can not match a full-fledged super computer. Be reasonable.
Why tablets HAS to be casual using devices? We have every right to ask for more compact computers. Which imo, laptops are definetly not. Tablets wouldve been same as full-fledged computers if they ran windows / Linux, instead of android. Which that is the annoying part.
I think what you said about all asking a IPad mini sized Tab is…mistaken. Very little demand for such too tiny tablet! I already had all sized tablets, from 7” to almost 13” and DEFINITELY the best sizes are from 10,4 - 11.5”. They are small and big enough as a tablet AND to be a small PC. Small and light enough to be on a backpack but to get some work done. That said, I love my Tab S8 and I will along the way buy the Tab S9 (the screen, it makes a HUGE difference) and one of the best I had (but slow) was the Surface “mini” with 10.5”, it was really fun!!! A real small PC. How would it be with a AMD Z1 Extreme or 370 or with an Intel Lunar Lake…wow! All other sizes are very uncomfortable to hold and use as a tablet and not very “pocketable”
I'm debating between the S10+ and the Ipad Pro 13". I told myself I'd get the S10 when it came out. Still not sure, Samsung makes superior screens on the other hand. I own the Tab S8+ and the trade in deals suck. I feel my S8+ is worth more then what there offering.
I wished they had narrowed that bezzels like the huawei and honor tablets That would make it sleek and increased screen size without loosing the cross-compatibility with old accessories
I just got the s9 ultra open box great condition from BB for 750 out the door. 256gb 12g of ram. Freaking awesome tablet. I don't think it's worth paying 500 more for the 10.
I would go for the S10, the S9 has just three further years of updates (5 guaranteed from sales start) and the S10 has probably 7 years (I heard that, not proven)
Dog you feel that heavy games are noticeably smoother on the s10 vs the s9? The s9 isnt bad by any means. Ut occasionally you can get some slowed frame rates depending on the game and scene
@@IvanKam11 cool. I’m not expecting anything huge but a little jump would be nice. For example the a15 chip in my iPhone runs asphalt 9/units smoother than the Sd gen 2 in my tab s9+, though it’s plent good either way. I have found a few games that struggle, and I wish Lightroom could load images faster like the ipads
I have a Tab S9. No tab s10 couple with with no Snapdragon is a big no for me. 11inch is just the right size for media consumption. If you want to get real work done, get a laptop with a proper chipset. The plus is too big to hold. Even the 11 inch is too big for on the move use case. A tab s mini may be a better sell. And the M4 ipad pro upgrade is over the top and new it put s10 to shame. Even got me thinking to switch. Somehow samsung push out a good s24 u phone but dropped the ball with the tab and Apple does the opposite.
Hey i have a confusion between s9plus and s10 plus .... i never had tablet in my life and been looking for a tab for long term like 5 to 6 years of period .... i dont have problem of budget but my major requirements are studying, some netflix and gaming ..... mostly using tab for notes and reading ..... so which one will be better for me ?
Just wondering if you've done any 4k video editing? If so how does the Tab handle it? My ipad 11 pro isn't keep up well in that department so I'm thinking of looking elsewhere.
There are still three flagship models, unfortunately it's because they made two versions of the ultra. A Wi-Fi only model and a 5G model, the latter being not available in the US and Canada (might not be available in a few others but I'm just listing what I'm currently aware of.) 😢 But yeah, they basically got rid of their smallest model and didn't make all of the Ultras 5G capable. So now you have the Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S10 Ultra 5G and Tab S10+ (12.6" Display, 5G capable)
I have a very well taken care of s9+ tablet that just randomly lost wifi and bluetooth capability. 2 weeks out of warranty and seems like a software issue.
Brought the s7 tab plus. Does the job for me. Think Samsung does not.need to release a new tablet.or phone year after year. Most of the time are more software upgrades rather.than hardware upgrades. These upgrades previous tablets will.also get.via software.
I've been looking to upgrade to a newer tablet for a while now. I have a tab S3 lol. It's slower than shit! Right now Samsung will give me a 300 dollar trade in for that. I should probably do it.
I replaced my s6 plus with this glad I did because it was worth the upgrade I nearly replaced the s8 ultra I have for the 10 that would not have been worth it.
so its basically new chipset that is more power efficient, AI stuff from latest smartphones and tbh most important 7 years of android and security updates. if you have one of series s9 its big no no, but if you have old or none, its absolutely amazing choice, i might wait for s11 s12 to upgrade my s6, still going strong, just shame no updates anymore ;\ sad part they dont have 11inch lower model, it was always my choice.
Okay, Ivan. I'm voting you as the best-dressed presenter on UA-cam. Second, Sammy has canceled the Midnight BLUE and pastels for silver and black. My S 8 ultra is a classy deep blue. However my S 9 + is a pedestrian Grey slate. This new group is more of the same; boring!
Wrt processors, RAM is more important and will be the limiting factor in a few years, it needs more than 8gb on my S8+, and should have 16gb minimum at this price.
If the had a 8" version I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Looks like I'm going to get the iPad mini in a few weeks instead. May be the beginning of me returning to apple😮

As Apparently that's all it's worth plus a keyboard cover so I think I will
I'm just happy they kept the card sd slot, only Samsung is left to do so on the tablet market
I’m glad I got the 11” tab s9, the tab s10 plus is too big .
Me too
Does it work well for multi-tasking?
Can somebody help me with how thick the bezel are in measurement. mm? For the 10 plus tab.
Great job so far
I deeply want an ipad mini android alternative. It's so frustrating.
Can anyone tell me the absolute difference in the processor and why some people are hesitant on it?
Awesome! Right to the point! Thanx for sharing.
Stuck at the moment
i bought the s9 plus for 700 euros the same s10 plus would have been over a thousand so im happy
@@andreferguson3376why are you worried if i may ask?
Got the s9 plus for 520 usd and the s10 plus for 790 including keyboard. But im thinking of selleibg the s10 plus because it's not worth the extra 300 usd just for the minor upgrades

I randomly clicked this video and I can't unhear it now, too good.

What's wrong with the samsung browser?
3:36 Did you just... grab a S10 ULTRA tablet (14,6") with one hand? 😳. . . 👍
Straight up facts!!
The point is that tablets are portable and easy to take with you.
Why tablets HAS to be casual using devices? We have every right to ask for more compact computers. Which imo, laptops are definetly not. Tablets wouldve been same as full-fledged computers if they ran windows / Linux, instead of android. Which that is the annoying part.
@aerondight-5490 ... If you think it's that easy and simple, make one and sell it to us
@aerondight-5490 you mean like.....the Surface Pro? :)
Thank you for this video.
Sir, kindly suggest me a tablet with 8 or 9 inches, 700 nits brightness larger battery for sunlight use and good sound for karaoke please 🙏 thank you
I think what you said about all asking a IPad mini sized Tab is…mistaken.
Isnt the ultra phone close enough to the ipad mini? 😅
I'm just flabbergasted that you can palm the tablet 😅 lol but great video! Thank you!
😅😅
I appreciate you watching fam
I'm debating between the S10+ and the Ipad Pro 13". I told myself I'd get the S10 when it came out. Still not sure, Samsung makes superior screens on the other hand. I own the Tab S8+ and the trade in deals suck. I feel my S8+ is worth more then what there offering.
Im still using my tab s7+. worth the upgrade this year?
No,wait for the tab s11 plus
I wished they had narrowed that bezzels like the huawei and honor tablets
That would make it sleek and increased screen size without loosing the cross-compatibility with old accessories
I agree with you!
Windows app is free in plus?
In the end, both the S9 and S10 are the same device with a few (very few) differences. Do you know anything about the upcoming A10 series in 8"?
Still digging👍🏾
is it worth to upgrade from tab a8 to s10 plus ? or take for s9 base ? I’m using iphone but not considering ipad
I just got the s9 ultra open box great condition from BB for 750 out the door. 256gb 12g of ram.
Freaking awesome tablet. I don't think it's worth paying 500 more for the 10.
If I am planning to get a android tablet, which should I opt? I am leaning with the Plus models. S9 plus or S10 Plus?
If you get the S10 right now it's going to have a nice discount, but if you get the S9 on sale that's the better choice imo
To be honest, either one is fine - if the budget allows, go S10 Plus, otherwise go S9 Plus
s9 +
I would go for the S10, the S9 has just three further years of updates (5 guaranteed from sales start) and the S10 has probably 7 years (I heard that, not proven)
No question s10. It gets 7 years of updates, screen reflection and ai stuff. Never go older of you buy new. Price is also similar
Dog you feel that heavy games are noticeably smoother on the s10 vs the s9? The s9 isnt bad by any means. Ut occasionally you can get some slowed frame rates depending on the game and scene
Yea, in my testing, there was definitely a noticeable difference; nothing crazy tho
The tab s11 should come with the snapdragons X elite or something
I doubt it unless you want a Galaxy Tab with fans in them. Not even the thicc boi Surface Pro can cool that thing passively
8 gen 4 is the same thing, same cores, just more suitable to a fanless device
Who was asking for a Tab competitor for the mini? Isn't that what the folds are for?
Better go for the newest series one
S10+
But would you bother to upgrate from the S8+?
Only if you need the additional power
@@IvanKam11 thanks!
Where I can get tablet anime wallpaper
Just wondering if you've done any 4k video editing? If so how does the Tab handle it? My ipad 11 pro isn't keep up well in that department so I'm thinking of looking elsewhere.
Handles it pretty well through Powerdirector
@@IvanKam11 awesome! Appreciate you
There are still three flagship models, unfortunately it's because they made two versions of the ultra. A Wi-Fi only model and a 5G model, the latter being not available in the US and Canada (might not be available in a few others but I'm just listing what I'm currently aware of.) 😢
But yeah, they basically got rid of their smallest model and didn't make all of the Ultras 5G capable.
So now you have the Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S10 Ultra 5G and Tab S10+ (12.6" Display, 5G capable)
I want to no any speciality camera tricks. I wanna try to use for night shots like the comet tonight !
I have a very well taken care of s9+ tablet that just randomly lost wifi and bluetooth capability. 2 weeks out of warranty and seems like a software issue.
ffs. It's only a tablet...
For emulation, Snapdragron processors are better, because of their compatibility. Mediatek has some issues with game emulation.
Mine has an overheating issue. This is the last time I am getting product with Mediatek.
I get the filing that you dont want us to get the s10 plus
🤷🏾♂️Not if you currently have the Tab S9 Plus, lol
@@IvanKam11 I do also one plus pad 2 and don't need another device
Dumb clickbaiting.
I was thinking of getting a S9 but i was able to get the S10 for $800 so its not that bad, i wouldn't have paid $1000+ for it though
💪🏾💪🏾
Brought the s7 tab plus. Does the job for me. Think Samsung does not.need to release a new tablet.or phone year after year. Most of the time are more software upgrades rather.than hardware upgrades. These upgrades previous tablets will.also get.via software.
Nice review
Why would you need a small tablet when you can get Galaxy S24 Ulra, which is 6.8" or Galaxy Fold, which is even bigger
I've been looking to upgrade to a newer tablet for a while now. I have a tab S3 lol. It's slower than shit! Right now Samsung will give me a 300 dollar trade in for that. I should probably do it.
Why dont you play the OLD Cod mobile over Cod Warzone?
I replaced my s6 plus with this glad I did because it was worth the upgrade I nearly replaced the s8 ultra I have for the 10 that would not have been worth it.
so its basically new chipset that is more power efficient, AI stuff from latest smartphones and tbh most important 7 years of android and security updates. if you have one of series s9 its big no no, but if you have old or none, its absolutely amazing choice, i might wait for s11 s12 to upgrade my s6, still going strong, just shame no updates anymore ;\
sad part they dont have 11inch lower model, it was always my choice.
Love the screen size! Hate the price! Not impressed with the processor…😮🥶
I mean damn bro how tall are you? I can't quite palm my s9 ultra with one hand! I was thinking they made the s10 ultra slimmer lol!
😅 about 6'4"
I UPGRADED FROM THE 8PLUS AND I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED, LOVE IT
Nice!!!
@@IvanKam11me too, anti reflective screen makes the huge difference
good work
What is it with reviewers telling people what they should do? Oh, and i never hear reviewers complaining about the price of ipads, etc!
They want you to buy the zfold for the iPad mini competitor
🤣
😅, I appreciate you fam👊🏾.
Oh yes indeed! I remember that midnight blue on the S8; beautiful!
Honestly there is nothing wrong with the MTK chipset. Its pretty impressive!
"Do you want iPad mini? We have a foldable at that size, go buy it!" is what they are saying, which is nowhere near as a powerhouse.
Are You Millionaire , Cause it looking like Price does not matter to you😂
Fold is more than 3 times expensive than ipad mini
🤣
Worth upgrading the s8+ to the s10+?
No Bro, older ones are much better 👍🏻
Depends; if you're going for more power, yes, otherwise no.
I still want a Tab S10. I might just get an ipad as a upgrade from my tab s8 plus. Like I upgraded my s23 with 15 pro. Daily life have become easier
I have s8 plus and not upgrading.
Apple will probably soon announce new IPad mini, maybe samsung is waiting for it to drop and is going to release S10 mini after that
that's actually the smartest perspective ive heard of this launch just blew my mind 💀 we hope ig
Hope that's not their plan. Sounds like a terrible idea
Lol, maybe
I have the tab s8+ and even im not seeing that big of a jump to really justify an upgrade to the s10+.
only, the processor improvements, ip68 rating, stronger aluminum frame, and anti-reflective screen...you are right not a lot...
@@gregoriopassport yea because to me the processor improvements are the bare minimum for a new product launch so nothing major there. The other 3 points are definitely improvements but nothing major.
Bruh i have s6, im not upgrading. Maybe s11 s12 with smaller size and wifi7 on lower model
it's so sad they stop with the 11 inch. i thought to get a samsung. but i guees i gotta go for ipad :/
I'm not sure about that Mediatek chip in new galaxy tablets. So I think I will probably buy s9 tablets
I'm using tab s8 so I'm looking fir an upgrade S10ultra butra S9 is also an option❤
I had a tab S9 Ultra and wanted to downsize. So I got the 10 plus
Is the downsize worth it? I'm thinking of doing same. Do you feel like going back to the ultra?
Samsung slap on my face by dropping 11 inch model...I was looking forward to buy a newest flagship model with a portable size...but they had already drop it..I couldn't carry laptop size huge tablets in my bag when I am travelling in public buses, im sure definitely they will get stolen 🤣🤣 Why Samsung why...
(Looks like I have to go for S 9)
In Ivan’s hands vs the world: S9 = iPad Mini, S10 Plus IPad Pro 11”
For reals. He must be 6’4” + and 220 LBs.
My goodness!! It's scary how accurate you were with your guess...
Although as of this evening, it's more like 224, but I typically hover around 220. You're on point with the height!
