What are the thumb covers you are wearing when gaming? Curious what S10 Ultra may look like if they refresh with Snapdragon X Elite perhaps. I’m still using 12.9” M1 PRO for now
I used iPads since the first one, still have an iPad Pro 2018 12.9 inches but it is starting to show signs of age. Where I live Samsung is much more affordable so I got a Tab S9 Ultra last December, and I just love it. Very capable, gigantic screen, pen and keyboard case included in the box... for me it's just perfect.
What do you mean by 'much more affordable'? iPad Pros of the same generation are cheaper than the Tab S9 Ultra. And that's retail price. It's interesting that there's such a huge gap where you live.
Thinner is a combination of "it looks more impressive" and is lighter and more comfortable to hold as well as less top-heavy on the Magic Keyboard. It's also likely Apple does not want the iPad competing in various areas with the Macbook eg Battery life being one of those areas along with desktop functionality! Hope that answers your question completely.
@@commentarytalk1446 are macbook battery replaceable?...If so it will be perfect. Tablets have become a One time thing..once battery is dead its over even if the M4 will still be so much capable after 5 years. That is sad. The entire fully working device has to be discarded just because of the battery after paying so much.
If you want to code on it and host your apps on it, get the s9. For getting pirated movies and shows, get the s9. For drawing, animation, music or video editing, get the ipad. If you don't do any of the above, go with whatever is cheaper and more compatible with your headphones.
You missed a few things, the gaming also a thing now (at least on iPad with more and more console level games instead of the mobile games). And not just the iPad is capable to play the same game with the about same fps on 1600p-1800p (desktop class chip) what the S9 can do on 700p-800p (mobile class chip), but because of the chip difference the usability is also a key factor, the desktop class chip can get more updates before you will feel that it's slowing down, so you can use it longer and reselling price on Apple devices are also way better, what you get back when you finally buy a new one, so it's lower the price of the next one.
or just wait for the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite on Tab S10 (if they are using this chip ) oh boy this is going to really raise the bar for many possibilities
@TamasKiss-yk4st I don't know how I feel about that argument. There aren't that many great games you can play on both devices, so if you're buying a tablet for that purpose, you're buying a wrong device. So, if the primary purpose is gaming, then Steamdeck or Laptop will be way better. If it's for media, drawing, work with files and gaming is just a side gig you'd be using once in a blue moon, then tablet it is. How's emulation on iPads, BTW. Heard they're finally allowing emulators on their store, is it any better than on Android at all?
Been using the S9 Ultra since September as my main device for both work and private use. Never missed my laptop, whereas with the iPad Pro, I found myself very often having to transition to my laptop, just because the apps were limited, or not communicating with Windows well enough, or my other devices couldn't connect. No such problem with the S9, I can connect absolutely everything, even Apple products, which fan fact, you cannot connect directly to your iPad (other than the phone).
@@NEWLifeXs if I'm so ignorant, then please tell me how can you connect the iwatch to the iPad directly? Two Apple devices that can't communicate with each other directly 🤷

LIES...I just returned my iPad pro M4, the Samsung samsung s9 has a better display quality. Just because it says that the ipad pro is brighter, that doesn't mean that it's better. The colors are a lot more vibrant on the Samsung S9 ultra. Remember, samsung makes the panels that IPad pros and iPhones use!! Samsung doesn't need to upscale nits because their panels are a lot more efficient. The stuff that I could do with Samsung notes Blows anything that apple has to offer. I'm both apple and samsung user, but clearly samsung takes the lead on this one.
This is comparing a new tablet with one that's 9 months or so old. Will be interesting to see what Samsung have in store for the S10, though the S9 is pretty impressive.
I wonder if they'll try using new Snapdragon X chips in the next generation. That would be interesting to see. Would they also go with their Android fork? Or would they use Windows instead?
No matter how good the Apple devices get, as long as they remain this much closed compared to Android, Linux and Windows, I could never use them. The lack of sideloading without jumping through hoops is a big deal for me personally.
Exactly. Not to mention, that all the productive apps on iPad they always talk about cant be bought, you need a monthly subscription. The price after you bought the Tablet is way way higher. Samsung Notes is pretty much the best note taking app, as it took the best of Notability and Good Notes, combined in one app. Most people will only use it for browsing, note taking and UA-cam and there you wont notice a difference. Also giving the iPad the edge in terms of display is a joke to me. It is just a bias. They are both great displays.
And you can argue that all you want but in reality Apple devices have much more professional apps then androids. You can actually do professional stuff on an iPad Pro effectively and comfortably. Android devices either don’t have that posibikty
The front-facing camera on the Samsung is insane. But the GPU is light years behind, I was not expecting such a concerning gap. IPad power with Samsung software would be a perfect tablet.
Unless you’re doing heavy gaming or cad or video editing, etc. you won’t tell the difference. It’s sad that Apple does not allow full access to the power because most of the app can’t take advantage of it. Jobs intention for the tablet was to be a true computer in a small form factor. Apple needs to unleash the damn device to its full potential.
Eww we don't want your Samsung software. The One UI looks like a cheap copy of IOS and all Samsung is been doing is copying apple. We don't need all that bloatwear Samsung has. I'd much rather go with true authentic android experience like pixel
You might want to wait for the tab S10 ultra, or a great sale on the S9 ultra as it's not worth it..... If you have a 120hz screen and your iPad still gets updates, you can wait....
I enjoy your videos. I am both a Samsung and Apple fan. I switch between the 10.9 iPad Air 5th Generation and Samsung Tab 8+. The Air is great for when I travel.
@@fakedazzlefulso that one can truly multitask and not stuck with max two apps at a time... So that have a better viewing amoled screen and thinnest tab ever (if it's 2 years old tab ultra)... I use this combo : Macbook for Work - Legion GO /PC Windows gaming - TAB S9+ for Media consumption, note taking, android auto - S23U as a phone . I can use TAB S9+ as secondary screen for MAC and Windows , and I like more the samsung ecosystem since its been integrating really well with Windows and google. I don't see any reason to get an IPAD unless your work is about drawing, for video editing or anything else get a macbook!
Great comparison, but I feel it's not worth comparing those 2 for now. Let's wait for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or 4 and see how it is because I left iPhone 14 Pro Max to S24 Ultra (Yet I still kept the iPhone), but form the 3 Gen of Snapdragon 8 is really powerful and the battery life, is insane. I'm waiting for Tab S10
Really had to comment for the explanation of the pencil tips. It may sound like a subtle difference but it really was something that made me use my Apple Pencil less than my phone’s s pen, even though I had the much much bigger canvas on the iPad. Just the tip. So thanks !!
Everything was great for the iPad until 13:37. The camera comparison just provided a significant edge to the Samsung tab. I am an existing iPad user and I wish Apple could come up with such details and clarity what Samsung offers.
That camera looks perfectly fine? Besides, the camera in the S9 makes him look green and fucks up all the colours in the rest of the shot. Sure the iPad one isn’t as detailed, but it looks more natural and colours are much more accurate. Plus, his lighting conditions in his test weren’t great. The iPad looks pretty great when there’s proper lighting.
It's beyond me why would someone want to go out of their ways to edit videos on an iPad to start with, it simply does not fit in any professional working pipelines that I know of, just use a Mac (which is cheaper now btw) for the job instead if you edit videos for a living. Tablets are media consumption or gaming devices and let's leave it at that, by that standard the S9 Ultra screen size would blow the iPad out of water.
@@Duckstalker1340 I edit videos for living and the idea of editing some small videos on the go with ipad instead of notebook is much cooler for me. But I didnt try davinci on the m4 yet.
Only reason I bought the m4 11’ is because I don’t have an iPad, and I’ve been needing one for Foreflight, as a pilot, since I don’t have an iPad currently and love the light form factor, this iPad and the pencil is a perfect combo so it felt right to just buy it and forget it for the next 5 years
You'll have a great experience with it for sure. What I love most about iPads is their software support and longevity. My iPad 2 got 7 years of software update and lasted me 10 years (8 years of heavy usage). Then I got an iPad Pro 2017 and it still gets software updates and I still use it till date. Definitely worth the money when I compare it to getting just 4 years of software update on Samsung Tabs. I have no reason to upgrade cause they still work great and I heard that it will be supported year again with another software update this year-insane!
I had the 2018 11 inch pro and just upgraded on Wednesday to the 13 inch m4 pro I think the oled display and having a bigger screen was a decent reason to upgrade.
What's the point of having the most powerful chips if the software limits me a bunch? To watch content or work on school homework? It really doesn't matter how powerful it is. Most people use it for basic tasks.
I’m in the Samsung Ecosystem, I have the Fold 5 and Galaxy Watch Ultra and just sold my Galaxy Tab S9 for the IPad Pro M4 1 TB 11 inch model with 5g. I have never owned an Apple Product before. I like it
I’ve just got a 13inch iPad Pro m4 today. I can’t believe how thin it is. I’ve been using a 2018 iPad Pro for 5 years and I can already tell the difference in a couple if hours. Screen is so much clearer and FaceTime is great now the cameras have been moved. I love it. Best tablet on the market hands down.
I am American. I am always on the lake, fishing and riding my boat. I have no problems with the screen brightness of my Tab S9 Ultra outdoors or getting it soaking wet because of its water-resistance rating. I don't need all the power on the tablet. If I do, I'll just get a MacBook or Windows computer.
I've been an iPad guy for quite a few years, but I'm seriously considering the S9 or replacement for my next one. I really like the 16:10 resolution in particular. I've had a few iPads which have the "unresponsive display when charging" problem which is really annoying, and have no idea if the new ones have the same issue.
Please galaxy tab s9, you'll spare so much money. The thing is if your an artist and rich then stay on apple, but if you are poor and not an artist then get samsung
i have the S8 Ultra and its a great tablet. But my main reason for getting it was that i like the android and samsung eco system. If you have other apple devices, then an iPad is probably the better choice, especially cause you'll have better connectivity options between your devices. Same goes for Samsung. But I'd say the media consumption and writing with the S Pen works pretty great with such a big screen. And I had no issues with my tablet so far
I have a regular S9 Tab for portable media consumption and it’s great. My buddy bought the S9 Ultra and it’s amazing…but too big and heavy for reading for me while on the go. I also just bought a used 12.9 iPad Pro M2 for one specific app I use for board gaming, writing, doing certain work as well as the larger screen for reading lyrics on stage.
Got the 12.9 m4 yesterday and the screen is gorgeous. And for some reason the refresh rate with the m4 ipad looks smoother compared to my old m2 ipad pro 12.9.
its a tablet not a phone. you need a place to keep your hands and still protect the screen when it falls. all my friends have crash the tab s9s but my 2021 ipad pro still remains and till now still faster and more productive
@@uknewsuncut none of my pro apps work on a tab s9, let me correct that , they can’t run on the tab s9 even if they wanted it to. So yes when I say more productive as an engineer its more productive. The tab s9 can’t even be compared in MY categories. That’s all am saying
As someone who owned both at some point (tav s9 ultra last year in august September, and the ipad since release day) the ipad STOMPS samsung here. Better display, way better processor etc etc. software is personal preference ofc but i do love it
I had an iPad since 2018. Just got a tab s9. To me the tab s9 stomps the ipad. Even the new m4 ipad. I use mine as a emulation, pc streaming, movie watching tablet. It's a no brainer that the samsung tablet beats the ipad here. The 4:3 aspect ratio is terrible. I also find the tab s9s screen to be nicer with richer colors than the ipad m4. To each his own i guess
The S9 is at least 3 times lighter than a thin laptop and caries the same power. If you are static, it doesn't matter, if you travel often, it's a game changer.
I’m using the ipad 2018 for media consumption. What am i gonna do with this m4 ipad pro? I think its time to consider the only android device i’d own as a compliment. The tab s9 sounds like it.
I'm so the opposite lol. I have the new m4 iPad but I'm still using the s9 plus tablet for all my daily needs. MacBook pro does all my work. I'm just basically using the iPad for surfing web and UA-cam at my office.
@@Cat-of-beach291iPads can't even utilize the power of the M chips with the limited software. It doesn't matter what generation they go to as long as the software stays the same. They're great in the MacBooks, but you're literally just using a phone when it's an iPad. They could go to M25 and no matter what the apps need to run on an iPhone so it's pointless to have the unlimited power. Android will actually let you utilize its chip speed, even though its never necessary
Brilliant video, very informative. One thing though that I strongly believe you should have mentioned is how new the ipad is compared to the S9 - it's a whole 8 month time difference in release date.
I had galaxy tabs for years and our whole family was Android. I found android tablets useless so have had iPads for the past 8 years. About 4 years ago we all started moving back to Apple on everything. Just got the new M4 13" with keyboard and pen to replace my M1 11" and loving it. Screen in amazing and it just works with all my other products. The walled garden is real but it's an easy place to be when you just want things to work. After 35 years in IT and dealing with issues all day every day it's nice to not have to worry about my personal devices. Great review of the differences, very detailed and good points as always, just a lot less stress in Tim's garden for us.
Great review! Could you also talk about how important the ecosystem is? I own Apple products, and if I were to switch to a Galaxy Tab, should I be aware of any concerns?
Thank you for watching and for the kind words. I would rarely mix ecosystems - especially if you're used to things like texting/messaging across devices, sharing links, images, etc. If it's just for watching content - then it's less i mportant. Hope that helps.
@@silverxbladeXit is just as good, but if they plan on staying in the apple ecosystem, it will matter and it would be a concern. Same for someone in the Samsung ecosystem. The two don’t mix well.
I'm a Samsung phone user. I have owned the Tab S9 Ultra and the M1 ipad. While the galaxy Tab is amazing as a consumption and multi-tasking device, it doesnt match the app offerings of the ipad. It's a real problem.
What is not said here. I watched a bunch of UA-cam comparisons like this one to the previous iPad ecosystem vs android. Because of positive reports of android I tried switching. In theory dex sounds good and looks great for about 10 min. But using multiple intense apps even games with an external display was unusable for any length of time as android would tell me it’s overheating and shut down the apps. The 4 limit on the iPad and the extra 4 on the external display ended up being way more because it didn’t overheat and shut down. However android let me use more without an external monitor so no complaints there. But unless your just web browsing and using basic notes or to do dex is useless because of the overheating. Now to the keyboards. For work I have to use an embedded text on a website. The android with its keyboard worked fine on regular apps, but in the browser repeated keys and made it unusable. For my workflow android system was unusable despite everything being said in the UA-cam review here being true. Day to day workflow with an external monitor is useless with android unless you are doing basic stuff. iPad at least works well with what it allows me to do with an external monitor. And the Magic Keyboard is a million times better than the android comparison. The only thing that is truly better is the multitasking on the android but not using dex or an external monitor. When only using the tablet I prefer the multitasking of android. But since it’s totally unusable with my workflow I am back to apple.
This is why everybody who has to decide between these two devices....they should watch your reviews.... they allways seem to be very objective....!! Great review.... again.
Will you do a review on the iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen (2018) vs the iPad Pro 12.9 M4 (2024) for the every day Joe not wanting to spend $1000+ on the new one? Cheers
What are you using it for? If you have a budget there’s no point in the m4 pro. If you need the m4 pro, you would know. If you want the oled screen and better speakers get the new pro. If you have any interest in AI you may want the new pro as well. The old pros are more than enough for the high majority or people.
Ill take the S9 Ultra, less money, better quality, better screen, comes with S pen and best of all, it has Dex which apple doesnt have! Hands down S9U best tablet on the market hands down

@@mikeegal8194 the sweet spot is the "new" 3:2 aspect ratio, cause it gives a bit more display surface while not increasing that much the black bars. Sadly Samsung still went with the 16:10 an we'll probably need to wait for s11/s20 for the change.

The bezels in the iPad Pro are just too big. They had the thinnest bezels ever in the iPad Air 3 on the sides why can’t they recreate that all around the pro?
I have the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, and I love it. I do, however, plan to upgrade when the S10 Ultra releases. The most important thing I hope Samsung redesigns is the proprietary keyboard case. I want something similar to the Magic Keyboard in terms of the keys themselves. I would like a more satisfying feedback from the keys.
Initially, I was leaning towards getting a Samsung Galaxy S9 to use as an external display and for writing notes. However, I came across a Lenovo 14-inch touchscreen monitor that seems more versatile. This portable monitor can be used with my phone, laptop, or anywhere I need a second screen, and it even comes with a pen for writing and drawing.
The iPad has a laptop processor in it, of course it's going to perform better. I'm pretty sure if Samsung put an Intel i9 inside of its tablets the performance would be greatly improved. However a tablet is not necessary supposed to replace a laptop.
The M-series are great for gaming. Results from the M4 are coming out and it is absolutely mind-blowing. It completely changes the perspective. It can easly handle 120fps on highest res with almost 1,700p resolution. That's more than 2k (2560x1440) and it runs fanstasttically. That's something even M2 struggled with but not the M4. Android has a solution go that. Qualcomm and their E Elite can change the game for android tablets. The X Elite has about the same performance as the M2. It reaches 39FPS in 3D wildlife extreme vs 40FPS on M2. That's plently for a beginning.

The only thing that really breaks the deal for me is the aspect ratio. I'm more focused on media entertainment and some light and heavy gaming so Samsung Tab S9 works for me (I have the plus version) but the only problem I have for samsung is the app optimization like on the games I play such as Genshin Impact and some apps like Reddit where there's no landscape orientation (although I don't know if the iPad has reddit on landscape mode) but yeah, the optimization is the only thing missing for Samsung to make it the perfect tablet for me.
iPad Pro 13” M4 is superb the best tablet you can buy. You can also add any google app you like onto the iPad. You cannot do the same with the Samsung.
I still have my 2014 Samsung Galaxy 12.9” note pro tablet and a 2014 ipad air. The ipad is on something like ios 14 and the Galaxy is forever stuck on Lollipop . The ipad is fast, and completely useable. My gf uses it to watch content. The Galaxy tablet is completely useless and frustrating because it is so painfully slow. I would definitely recommend the ipads from my experience simply because Apple supports them for longer. I was a Galaxy fanboy and still have a custom UI on the Galaxy tablet. I used to root and fully customize my Galaxy devices, and I still miss that customization.
Please compare iPad 9th gen and iPad Pro M4 11 inch. Really need that since I’m looking to upgrading my iPad and would really appreciate comparison of size, screen, available viewing area and just a general comparison of performance. Do they have the same dimensions but just different available viewing area? Since 9th gen is basically boxed in whereas 11 inch is with a thin border. Do they still have same dimensions of external body. Thank you.
I don’t have the 11 inch iPad Pro M4, but I do have a 9th gen iPad and a 11” S9 Tab. Besides the much better and slightly larger OLED screen which my S9 does also have, you also have a much more powerful processor in the M4, though it really depends on what you are using it for anyway. Don’t forget the new iPad Pro is super light now as well! But the price is so much more too. Have you also considered the 10th gen iPad? The recent price drop should make it more enticing as the entry-level iPad.

@@Yomachaser and the power of it is pretty much the same as a mobile phone. Might as well get s24 ultra then. Fanboys talk about things like “Dex” and samsung having an OS that is adaptable to your work, but keep your work to yourself , respectfully. The amount of people who appreciate the power in the new ipads , and even the older ones(samsung can’t even compete with the 2021 m1 ipad pros yet with their mobile chip) and use it with their own workloads or daily activities is huge. Me and my friends for instance, we stream PUBG mobile , make videos and play it competitively and buying the samsung for streaming is not even an option for us because of its potato performance and even without streaming, it doesn’t stay at sustained performance very long, as seen in youtube tests. As an m2 ipad pro owner, it stays consistently and performs consistently, and those flagship “catchy” new processors that you see in the apple keynote actually come to use in this case. the Ultra is ancient in tech terms and will be replaced next month with the Tab S10 Ultra. I suspect it will get cheaper still, but the Tab S10 Ultra will be the competition for the iPad Pro in the next 18 months and they will be similar in price in the UK viz launch pricing.

S9 Ultra Better Solos
I will go for s9 ultra
What are the thumb covers you are wearing when gaming? Curious what S10 Ultra may look like if they refresh with Snapdragon X Elite perhaps. I’m still using 12.9” M1 PRO for now
I used iPads since the first one, still have an iPad Pro 2018 12.9 inches but it is starting to show signs of age. Where I live Samsung is much more affordable so I got a Tab S9 Ultra last December, and I just love it. Very capable, gigantic screen, pen and keyboard case included in the box... for me it's just perfect.
Which one is better in your opinion?
What do you mean by 'much more affordable'? iPad Pros of the same generation are cheaper than the Tab S9 Ultra. And that's retail price. It's interesting that there's such a huge gap where you live.
@@eemoot it’s the opposite. Samsung Tab is cheaper. And there are good trade in offers plus cupons and discounts.

Why can't they just increase the battery size instead of making the iPad slimmer?!
That’s an interest trade off.
@@commentarytalk1446 Exactly how I feel. The ipad thickness by itself is fine, but wen paired with a Magic Keyboard, it becomes heavier and thicker
Slimmer and lighter on the big iPad is appreciated
Look guys I only care about the pen which one has the best experience of typing? Btw i don't want it to draw just trying.
For pirated movies and shows it’s not important which of both tablets you buy, fileexplorer and tdownloader is on both devices available…

That's the problem with most Samsung vs Apple comparisons, since they come out far apart, it'll always be the case.
I wonder if they'll try using new Snapdragon X chips in the next generation. That would be interesting to see.
Would they also go with their Android fork? Or would they use Windows instead?
S10 came out, pretty disappointing tbh

Great review.... again.
Thank you so much for the kind words - truly appreciated 🙏🏻

That's plently for a beginning.
i9 not efficient or arm based though
love that you're playing my boy johnnys footage 100
Absolutely incredible footage. Like - literally some of the most impressive shot AND edits!! 👊🏻
Bought an IPad 9th gen for $300 w/an Apple Pen and Otterbox Defender. Best deal in Tech!
9th gen still a beast. I got the 10th gen half off through my carrier
@@nexxus_8487 it is! I wanted the 10th but couldn’t pass the deal up. It’s time we take the fight back to these companies. The longer we hold out…THE BETTER PRODUCTS THEY PRODUCE.
How do you afford this stuff? I’m getting anxiety just thinking about how much these two tablets cost together. Love your channel!!
The trio of wallpapers you feature at 0:17 on the 3 Tab S9 series models -- where are they from?
I would like to know aswell

Why has no one and I mean no one done a test of the battery with the new chip? So Important to see the outcome of the battery with the new chip. Trying to find reviews but no one had even testing it!!
Full battery drain test coming soon.
@@TechGearTalk let's get it out today!! No one has even done it yet and it's so important
Ipad is just long term better device.Having m2 12.9 incredible device.
How do u deal with the blooming and lcd display along with the mid bzttery life? I had a m2 12.9 before getting the Ultra and the better battery plus oled feels so much superior to the m2. I don't use tablets for intensive task but content and studying and so far I'm liking the ultra better tbh
A good example of why you always pick products based on your own needs/wants. Good job.
Exactly the reason why I'm waiting for the s10. Gonna have elite x and since the current s24's are getting 7 years os updates I expect the tab s10 to match that. Plus I prefer android way more than ios because ios is so restrictive
@@elinx7641 same lol, ipados is too locked down and I am far too accustomed to fully customized everything so it feels off. Wouldn't have even bought the m2 if I didn't wanna see what the hype was about
@@shabbarbukhari7200 Blooming isn't a thing when using the iPad just for studying and content. Most test show that both the S9 Ultra and the iPad Pro have a similar battery life of 10h.
Stop the bias
On tab S9, if you have power save enabled in the quick menu, the scrolling of icons will be choppy. Visible in your video in a few clips.
There's a labs setting to make any app behave in landscape on samsung tablets so this isnt a problem for them anymore.
ipad indeed has landscape mode for reddit.
@Yomachaser The only problem is that it doesn't take up the whole screen which is a bit off-putting.
why is it called tab s9 pro in the describtion?
LOL I was like ...... there's a pro s9 ?? 😂
Whoops! Thanks!
Very professional and unbiased comparison. Worth watching. Well done 👍🏾

Pls tell where do u get these wallpapers on your tabs??

iPad Pro 13” M4 is superb the best tablet you can buy. You can also add any google app you like onto the iPad. You cannot do the same with the Samsung.
and expensive
I got the 11 inch pro and it blew my s9 (returned) ultra out of the water when i was editing videos. This coming from an android lover lol.
CONGRATS!!! So glad you got a tablet that works for your needs! Good work!
I used to root and fully customize my Galaxy devices, and I still miss that customization.
never is mention that apple devices have been using samsung parts and software since 2007, without samsung there wouldn't be apple
If there was never a samsung, apple would buy their displays from someone else 🤡
@@JK-xn4mj thank you for your reply.
there is hardly any difference between the 10th gen and 9th gen so wouldnt be much of an upgrade!
Still inferior to Samsung's tablet. And the reason is? iPadOS
samsung fanboy😭
@@sakinzaman224Might have sounded fanboyish but ipad os is very constrained compared to android. At this point the list of things you do on a galaxy tab that you can't do on ipad is pretty big.
At the end of the day, what matters is what you’re looking for and in the market for, not a specific feature or listing.
@@Yomachaser I would argue that is untrue. For most consumers who are not niche techie users, iPadOS has superior apps. Now, you can even emulate it on iPads. Obviously, if you are doing illegal stuff, then Android wins, but that doesn't really count.
The Ultra does not even have a GPS or 5G in many countries.
Just use the device you need -_- it’s about the preference and overall use (whichever it is)
i just upgraded from the A14 ipad air and i am gonna keep this for the next 2-4 years
Just for you to know , iPad pro is 4x the price of s9ultra in my country which is akward
the Ultra is ancient in tech terms and will be replaced next month with the Tab S10 Ultra. I suspect it will get cheaper still, but the Tab S10 Ultra will be the competition for the iPad Pro in the next 18 months and they will be similar in price in the UK viz launch pricing.
@@andyH_England no , apple tax here is insane . iPhone se4 is 27000tr=900$ while Samsung S24 is 34000tr =1100$
@@jozimastar95 Yes, I get it. In some countries, imported Apple products are expensive due to taxes and exchange rates. In the UK, the pound is doing better, but 20% VAT is still a pain.
I have the G tab S9 and also the iPad pro M1. I basically used them for entertainment only like social media, reading books, watching movies, anime and tv shows. For what i use it, i find myself more comfortable with the G. Tab s9. Also, i can take my tablet when I shower since it is water proof ( most likely water resistant)
What's s9 pro

The M4 Chip destroys the Samsung Tablet and makes it useless...
And then its own OS destroys the iPad.
@@TomMarvan I'm pretty sure you've never used an iOS device and are just speaking based on what you hear from others.
I like the simple design of iOS and find Android terrible. Everyone has their own preferences and must decide for themselves what they prefer.
So just the M4 chip destroys the whole Samsung tablet and make it useless... Are we always there, think we are moving forward even if we prefer Samsung or Apple products.
@@nonoflareI did... And the last pro is collecting dust in some drawer because tab ultra does everything better and then some. I bet you have hardly used Android to be even comparing the two. iOS amd IPadOS are a decade behind in features. This is what I realised within a month when I switched. Of course, it's down to personal choices, but at least pick a valid fact to argue over

You can run upto 4 apps on ipad if you enable stage manager, not 3, also enable ‘more space’ option in display zoom.
Phones wise I have both the iPhone 15 and the Samsung s24 but tablets I always go for iPad; I’m so used to iPad os and being able to carry over things from my old devices to my new one easily makes things so much easier
The new iPad Pro is the first iPad I bought. I love it for editing photos and videos
Louder is always better than fuller. 👍. Deep blacks on a tablet are as in important as nits on a cellphone outside.. my opinion thanks again
Really? Are you going to have a party with your tablet speaker? Fuller is much better than louder, especially for watching movies and playing games, a tablet doesn't need a very loud speaker
This is so divisive for me since I'm a tour guide and hobby photographer thus I need lots of storage to save and process my pictures and a very bright display to use it outdoors... difficult to pick one.
Prefer the samsung tabs for note taking. S pen is lighter and the rubber tip is better than ipad pencil. I like my ipad for lightroom editing
