I personally use the ergo baby but that’s because I found one for free at a thrift shop when I was 7 months pregnant and really needed to find a carrier. 💚💚 now I personally know the woman that runs the thrift shop and I donate clothes and baby items my daughter has grown out of to her regularly 😊🙏🏼
Seriously the only way I get through the day is baby wearing. Just had my second little one and it's even more so part of my day to day as I chase my 3 year old around.
I have always used sakura bloom ring sling with all my kids until they were like over a year. This year with my 4th i was gifted a sakura bloom scout and omg it is so comfortable i love it so much!!!
I love my Ergo Omni. I walk a lot (with my grandson (7 ms.) in tow) and I like him to face forward and explore his world. This thing is thing is sturdy. I does it's job well. Worth every penny. I'm the Gma and have some arthritis issues so. But I loved it so much that I let my daughter and her hubby try it out and they loved it so much that I gave it to them! I haven't tried any of the others but they seem nice to.Thanks for the review.
THIS!!!! This is the video I’ve been looking for. The ring sling was a no go for me because I couldnt make it feel comfy/secure. Thank you for your detailed explanation
What a great // helpful video !!! I’m having my first baby in May and have been looking into all of these different baby wearing options. It was so nice to hear your perspective on them and see you putting baby Rowan in them.
The omni 360 is great to have, and can be used with bigger toddlers (I think up to 3 or 4 years, which is great if they are sick or tired), or with an infant insert for infants. It was the only carrier I tried that didn't cause me back pain with my first. It offers real support. Baby (depending on age) can carried on front facing in or out, hip carry or on back and is great for traveling in airports or very long walks. The little pocket in the front was also handy for travel and I figured out how to get baby to breastfeed while I was standing in an airport line using my carrier to keep my hands free. Cons: I find the shoulder straps are too thick/clunky, long learning curve/difficult at first to get straps adjusted on your own, and it's not as pretty as my ring sling or my older bktan wrap.
I've done babywearing with both of my babies and don't know how I'd survive without it! I liked the stretchy wraps for the newborn phase but didn't find them supportive enough as baby got bigger. Now I'm 100% about the ring slings. They have a bit of a learning curve to get a really good, comfortable fit every time, but they're so fast, supportive and portable! I've tried Wildbird, but my favorite slings are Hope & Plum. Their fabrics are so dreamy and the brand/community is wonderful!
I bought a carrier that looks like the last one but I believe is even easier. It's called the Bondolino. You velcro the band around your waist. It has padded shoulder straps but no buckles. You cross the two straps at the back, bring them to the front around your waist and knot. So no hard to reach buckles on your back. Tula has a similar one, I believe it is called the half buckle.
we used something similar to your 360 one for hikes all the time, and at home we used something like the sully baby. I love that one because it feels even more snuggly and it feels so secure, and my little one absolutely loved it. and fun fact, before our little one was born, when I was like seven months pregnant, we rescued a puppy with a broken leg and my husband carried him around in the sullybaby so that he would get used to other people and places even though he couldn't walk xD
Oh! Thank goodness u uploaded this because I have no idea what I'm doing and what baby wearing carrier is best I haven't even added one to my registry because I'm lost as to which one will work and NOT hurt my back lol so this video helps
Thank you for this video. I have the third carrier. I haven't used it very much but I am glad you showed me how put it on by myself. I hope you have wonderful day.
Thanks for this video! Have you tried him facing out front, (though he still might be too young)? I have to agree that babywearing is the best! Rémie is almost 2 months old and we don't even own a stroller yet (to be fair we don't get out much right now 😂). Whenever she gets too fussy at night we just wrap her, put her in the wrap and go for a walk. If you're discouraged because your baby is screaming at the top of their lungs, just wait until they're all nice and snug, there's a good chance they'll fall asleep within 10 seconds. If not, I just pace through the apartment until we're ready to go outside and it really helps. Doing this with my husband also helps a lot!
Thank you so much for this video! I'm expecting my first baby in April and was intimidated by baby wraps but seeing you put them in on helped so much. P.S- Roman is SO adorable!!!
I just got my solly baby one in the mail because I saw you posting so much of it on IG. I was so confused on how to put it on😂😂😂😂Gonna try again after this
I agree that baby wearing saved my life!! I love the cloth wrap as well- although I have the boba- same idea. I’ll have to look into the Sakura! Great video!
I’ve heard good things about the boba but I LOVE the community Solly has around it. I feel like they’re a great resource for new moms! Do you like the Boba as well?
Well, I live in Buffalo NY so I chose the Boba since I read the fabric was thicker and warmer. That’s why I opted for it over the Solly in the beginning. But I have to say, I’m usually wearing it indoors and it does get pretty warm. I do love how secure it feels though since the fabric is thicker and it has a great stretch.
I have a Moby Wrap and I'm going to try to keep it straighter when I put it on like you did with the Solly Wrap. It doesn't have the advantage of having a pattern to guide me, but I think that will help so much. I wore him at Walmart for like 45 minutes and it worked really well (I was shocked because he's usually too squirmy for baby wearing). Thanks for showing us how you put them on!
Hey Megan love you and little Man. I love your content. I was wondering if you could do a video on how you dealt with the four month regression like naps and stuff. U did mention it hit yourl hard. So if you could please show how a DIL with a sleep regression baby. Thank you
Your videos are soooo amazing!! I’ve been watching since Rowan was a few months and he’s just the cutest little thing and your family is the cutest!! I definitely have big baby fever but you deserve so much more recognition and I can’t wait until the day that’ll happen!! ❤️❤️
I don't have a chidl yet, but I'm doing lots of research and prep before. I'm trying to figure one out because I'm very petite and around 4'9. I just don't want one too bulky or uncomfortable or will hurt my back. Any suggestions I'm leaning to ergo because I'd like to babywear until they're bigger.
Megan!!! how does your lower back feel after wearing him for awhile front facing in the sakura?? i have the baby bjourn mini which i love when hes being worn facing me, but when hes worn face front my lower back kills.
Yes! Although if you get the leather version you have to use specific detergents that don’t use enzymes that will break down the leather. There’s a list on their website!
The ergo baby is not good for the baby! First, the baby is too young to be placed like that (face to the world), then it is not good for babies to have the legs lower than the butt... please inform yourself on physiological babies wearing. The most important is not the beauty of the bag but the wellness of the baby
Hi friends! Happy Thursday! Do you babywear or do you plan to?

Bought an ergobaby second hand for about $30 second hand in perfect condition. Recommend trying to buy second hand, if you're able to. 😊
Very helpful video, thank you. Question about the plant, how do you keep it so green?

Trying to find a carrier for my baby Rowan Michael 🥰❤
Megan!!! how does your lower back feel after wearing him for awhile front facing in the sakura?? i have the baby bjourn mini which i love when hes being worn facing me, but when hes worn face front my lower back kills.
I don’t think you can wear the baby facing out on your chest with the Sakura! He always faces me so we’re chest to chest if that makes sense
Have you tried artipoppe?
I have the boppy brand and I have no idea how to wear my baby comfortably. It feels like his legs are spread to wide in the leg holes.
I’ve never tried that one before!
Awesome vlog you should do the parenting tag 2020 on youtube
AWESOME!
Can’t seem to find the name of the last carrier you reviewed, do you mind commenting the name down below?
They are all linked in the description box :)
The Sakura is cute but way more expensive than the ergobaby as well
Is the Sakura bloom one washable?
Yes! Although if you get the leather version you have to use specific detergents that don’t use enzymes that will break down the leather. There’s a list on their website!
Thanks!
So cute
Thank you sweetheart God bless your family
Thank you 💛
Have you tried Beachfront baby Wraps??
haha, a lot of focus in this video goes to the look and 'cuteness' of particular options, a bit too much for me...
Who do we simply call Megan Acuna's baby for her name please?
Please, please, never carry your Baby in a carrier with their face facing forward. It ist SO bad for the evelopment of their back!!!
Are you a pediatrician?
The ergo baby is not good for the baby! First, the baby is too young to be placed like that (face to the world), then it is not good for babies to have the legs lower than the butt... please inform yourself on physiological babies wearing. Waering your Baby facing out ist Not Good for your Baby in many ways.
Please don‘t do it!
