I have the wildbird and I love it but I agree, the mabe is very similar for less. I love that hack of leaving the strap done and pulling over my head!! Thank youuu 🫶🏼
Such a good point about the back muscles, I got an onbuhimo for my baby while I was pregnant with my second and it took time to build the back muscles.
I really want to get the mabe but am hesitant to pull the trigger on any more carriers. I have two newborn carriers, a moby wrap and a baby bjorn mini, and both have their drawbacks. I know I’ll have to get another carrier eventually because those are both for newborns but I’ve honestly been so disappointed in my baby carrying journey I’m considering giving up. The two biggest problems I’m dealing with are ease of use and back pain. I want to believe the monarch would solve both of those problems but your critiques of the back carrying position make me hesitant. Please let me know your thoughts. Is the lack of a chest strap a big enough reason to dismiss the mabe?
Ehhh I think it's fine unless you are hiking regularly with it (I would go Tula Explore instead if you are)! The monarch is really is a good carrier and they are about to release some more prints.
hi! the link for Mabe doesn’t seem to be working for me. is there a code instead? thank you!! I decided to go with the Mabe after watching your review ☺️
Yes, the chest strap is removable, which is a pro and a con. Sometimes mine goes missing! As for putting it on the Mabe, there is no where to strap it in.
This was such a fun video to watch! Informative and your energy is contagious!

@ I ordered one last week! It’s coming today. Fingers crossed 🤞
My baby doesn’t like being hot, is the mabe fabric heavy compared to WildBird?

Hi, any luck with the link? I tested it and it seems to be working. The discount is applied at checkout.
Is the chest strap removable on the WildBird? Seeing as you have both could you put it on the Mabe to back carry?
