The three buckle Momcozy had proven almost magical in its ability to calm baby and it's super easy to deploy, and holds securely without being constrictive the way the fabric wraps were. Another buckle type carrier i tried had too many buckles and straps that didn't make it easy to use.
I swear by my ergo baby - from newborn to 20kg, you can't you wrong with that. My baby loved snuggling in on my front, and is now happy in a back carry position now he's older. I definitely agree with trying to try some on, and see how they work to figure out what's the best option for you. Such great advice and insight thank you!
I have a Ergobaby performance but it's the same as the original Ergobaby just more ventilated for hiking etc. The original style Ergobaby feels a lot more secure and comfy than the more modern 360 omnis etc which can be forward facing etc. Mine has been used daily for 3 years now and is still going strong. It's just the best, so secure and comfy.
Perfect timing! I’m thinking of buying a new one. I was given 3 different types of baby wearing items: the stretchy wrap (it felt like the baby was going to fall), the ring one (it was too small for me), and the woven one (I haven’t explored yet). If the last one fails, I’m going to buy a buckle one.
Don't know if it's available to purchase in your area or for import but the Ubuntu Baba carriers are THE absolute best. You also get a free consultation with a baby wearing educator with your purchase! I LOVE mine.

Nuna cudl is magnetic
My favorite was the stretchy wrap! My husband liked a buckle one (ergo). Our different body types was probably a factor in our different preferences
doesn't wrap get hot?
Yes… it’s definitely different for different people!
@@Als1822 not for me, but I didn't wear much under it. Even during a heat wave! Skin to skin can help your baby regulate their temperature too

I was at a loss when I was shopping for mine years ago. This is a great resource!
Right! I wish I had known all this before! I didn’t shop around and spent a lot of money for one not very versatile 🤦♀️
