I am a petite mom barely 5ft too, absolutely love happy baby carrier. I also have ergo omni 360 as a backup carrier it’s a little bit hot to wear it during summer/fall my baby sweat
Thank you so much for this! I'm also 5ft tall and have been looking for a good carrier for my son (tried wraps, but he hated them 😂). I'd heard about Happy Baby but wasn't sure about them, I think we'll invest in one! They do have the prettiest colors too 😍
I'm 5'3, not as thin as you and the Ergobaby Omni 360 is very comfortable. Total night and day difference from the Moby wrap carrier I used before which was hot and hurt my back. The Omni seems to fit almost every size which is great postpartum when our weight can change quite a bit. It's great to know it will still be comfortable as I lose weight.
Yes, it's a great carrier. Versatile for all sizes (both parent and growing babes!) As a side note, I have a newborn now and recently discovered the Solly wrap which I much prefer to the Moby wrap which I had used a little with my first two.
I'm so glad it was helpful to you! Let me know if you have any questions. I forgot to mention in this video but I also had a Beco Gemini hand me down I used with my son before I bought my Tula that was great for my petite frame also! :)
Hello! :) Happy baby has a toddler carrier, but I haven’t purchased it so I can’t speak to it. I haven’t actually carried my daughter (currently 2.5) in quite a few months because 1) She is miss independent and became resistant to carriers 2.) I’m actually pregnant with #3 due next month. That said, my 4 year old would still hop in a carrier if I let him and I found the Tula most comfortable personally as they got bigger…it just offers more support. I do think Tula has a toddler carrier too, but also haven’t tried it. My kids are petite and about 2 yrs apart in age so I’ve never invested in a toddler carrier. Hope this helps!
Yes, actually. After I made this video I bought & tried it with my third baby. I preferred to use a solly wrap but it was comfortable for me & my size. My husband loved it. I actually talk about it in this video. Best Baby Carriers for Newborns ua-cam.com/video/CeKhEnpm5i8/v-deo.html
Hi Nikky - I just have the standard Tula baby carrier. There are so many more out now, but when I got this 4 years ago there were fewer Tula options. Not sure how the other styles fit.
Hi Nikky! You may want to look into our Free-To-Grow carrier. It's similar to the Standard but its a newer carrier and you won't need an insert for newborns. If you want a forward-facing option, the Explore carrier will give you that option. Hope that helps!

I agree the happy baby is cooler and lighter weight!

Hope it works well for you! My daughter was not a fan of wraps either!
Thanks for the video! I'm 5ft as well and currently using a wrap. I've been trying to find a good buckle carrier, love that happy baby carrier!
I love the happy baby carrier!! Not only is it a simple/lightweight design, but they are so pretty and have different colors available each season.

Awesome! Thank you for this video! Im also 5 ft and I’m due any day now. I’ve been worrying about carriers since I’m smaller than average lol

Hi, are you still using the Happy Baby carrier with your toddler? Which one is the preferred one with a 2.5 yr old?
