Tell me your ideas to 3D Print :)
3D print a guy
Papercraft low poly 👍
Jumbo benchy set at lowest quality settings
@Shariq gamer You wouldn't download a car!
3D print a plotter tool/head for 3d printer and cut cardboard box from real paper
I like the idea, could use it for a gift.
Yeahh:)
If you're 3D printing a box, you're using a lot more material to make it foldable like this. Good if you want to ship it though.
It might not be as wasteful as it seems. With this method, you only use the material you need to make the box, instead of having to produce an entire sheet of cardboard and discard 25% of it as off-cuts. I guess it depends on the intended lifecycle of the box.
This was my thought as well. I was thinking that there could be a better 3D printed mechanism that would use less plastic and put the box together but I realize that we have that efficient shape for a reason. Flat folds is more efficient then little latches. My gut isn't crazy about the idea but I can see it having some uses.
also you can shred the plactic to pellets and to new filament
Someone call MIT, they're missing a student. He's over here making boxes on a 3D printer. Honestly, I'm mad I haven't seen this before.
This would be amazing for people who collects/uses trading cards 🤩
I would like if you folded the 2nd box opposite way having a Gold outer part & black inner part
I think acknowledging that It is a waste of plastic does not make It any less waste of plastic
Ah yes, I love 3d printing 2d objects
So cute for little gifts 🥰
If you could do this, then I bet you could do origami too.
Absolutely!
Do i like your ideas? Dude, i love them!
If you do it, make sure you have your infill set to something flexible, cross infill is very flexible and doesn’t snap easily
i think there is no infill. Its only 2 to 5 Layers especially in the folding zones
Good idea, and good loop ))
Wow, this is amazing for prototyping box designs
What a first layer flex
You could use it if you have an online store
As someone who loves to reuse things, I find this a genius idea!!!! Albeit it's not sustainable for everyone because people love to throw things away, I believe that these would be a great thing to constantly be reused while shipping mail
The first part fooled me
Yes because it is more durable unlike cardboard
Pla is renewable tho as it’s main ingredient is found in corn
that's a sweet idea!
Glad you think so!
It does not pollute the planted as it's PLA. PLA is made out of a biodegradable polymer so it just biodegrades once it is disposed
Unfortunately that's not true
Hell yeah I love the idea
I would reduce the size and use them in dioramas it's a great idea. Also if you could print graphics for Amazon and FedEx boxes for example that would be awesome I'd definitely buy a pack 😊✌🏻
Can you 3D print a perfectly round sphere?
Cool one
Der Druck war so dünn, dass ich froh war es vom Druckbett abzukriegen, konnte es danach natürlich komplett wegschmeißen
Do a phone case
I would use em for putting my prints that I sell to give to buyers
you should have a parametrized model so you can print boxes in the exact size needed.
@@moritztweber well… I can only print one size because I only have 2 Ender 3 pro’s so it fills the bed in the original file
Ishlarga rivoj
Rahmat
I would put a ring
That’s handy
Could be useful as a self-destruct box.
More thickness equals more time until breaking I guess?
hinges
the thicker it is, the more worn the hinged parts will have to be to bend
sir how much did it cost to print?
Useless when you can just 3D print builded box that has more strenght and integrity bruh
it looks amazing , where i can find this stl ?
Please look at video description
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
look in printables for “folding box”, hope this helps
Hello, where did you buy the filament?
Nice 🔥😍
How much filament did it use
Stl please!!!!
Its link is in video description
🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!
interesting
Thanks!
Stl or somwere I can buy the file
Nice
Thank you!
Why don’t you print a box? More true to its nature.
Where can I get the stl file?
its link is in video description
Hey, look in printables for “ folding box”, hope this helps
do you have the files?
Cool
Where do I find the STL file?
You can find it in video description
👍
Thank you!
I don’t see the Stl in the description
Search on printables with folding box
Bruh ur too much for me 😂😂😂
Can someone tell me the stl
cool
I would use the shit out of them I always looking for a way to incorporate recycled plastic into packaging that can be recycled. I need every STL you have lmao
Pollution lololol why not recycle oh wait it will end up at a dump anyway
This is possibly the worst use of 3D printing I've seen. Please be trolling.
hi
Hey man!
