    • @SomeoneCommenting
      @SomeoneCommenting 5 років тому +6

      You don't necessarily require support structures depending on the angle, and a good combination between the right material and cooling fan speed can freeze the plastic in place as it comes out of the nozzle.

      I think I got some of it. He is probably changing the scrips to make the print head set aside between each layer. Which would be a (g28 y) and (g28 x). The two questions are how does he snap the shot and how does he get the camera to revolve. Both are probably just a bit of ingenuity. I'm thinking maybe the x offset switch doubles as a button to snap his camera.

      He has the printer print a layer, then he probably edited the g-code to move the x axis temporary to take a picture then rinse and repeat. Then he merged the photos into a flip book video

    • @user-humanity2

      @@quantumfang2185
      Yeah, if we edit g-code and take a picture when the machine's x,y position is zero point(without z) and so on, we possibly make the time lapse like that.
      But I'm wondering is there any other software way by video edit thing, like go-pro fusion's self cam stick erasing tech.
      Anyway thanks for your comment, have a nice day!
