Salted Caramel Cornflake Brownie . . . how to

Hi everyone, i hope life is treating you kindly and you are ready for another baking installment!
this weeks offering is a Salted Caramel Brownie.
I have used a basic brownie recipe but you can totally jazz it other with whatever you fancy.
Caramel is a bit temperamental so i'd recommend a good non stick pan. Please don't forget melted sugar is very hot and dangerous so be cautious.

Brownie
180 g dark chocolate
175 g unsalted butter
265 g golden caster sugar
200 g plain flour
1/4 tsp salt
3 large eggs
Salted Caramel Cornflakes
300 g caster sugar
200 ml double cream
100 g unsalted butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
125 g cornflakes
sprinkle of salt flakes
