MATILDA'S CHOCOLATE CAKE (HOW TO) 🎂 ...actually its Bruce Bogtrotters!

Who here likes a good ole chocolate cake? I know Bruce Bogtrotter did in Matilda. As Matilda says 'sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty!' So I recreated this decadent, soft, rich chocolate sponge with super smooth fudge icing.
Keep this cake refrigerated once made as the icing contains cream. I like giving it a blast in the microwave for 15 seconds.
INGREDIENTS - Cake
1 1/2 cups or 310g self raising flour
1 ¾ cups or 350g Granulated sugar
2 teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Baking soda
pinch of salt
½ cup or 50g Cocoa powder
⅔ cup or 15oml Vegetable oil
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
3 Eggs
⅔ cup or 160ml Buttermilk
1 cup or 240ml Coffee hot
Chocolate fudge icing
315 g Butter unsalted
400 g Dark chocolate
⅓ cup or 50g Cocoa powder
1 ⅓ cups or double 350ml cream
1 ⅓ cups or 200g icing sugar
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
