Great concept for a video! I liked the execution, too, with first spotlighting their similar mean girl qualities and then having them square off in different categories. I agree in all points I think. The observation that they would be apexes in different domains was especially striking to me. I think if Paris tried to start a fight with Cordelia over academics (like she did with Rory), Cordy would not even listen to her to the end...

Hey! I don't watch anime unfortunately. I used to watch Sailor Moon when I was little but that is the closest that I've gotten to anime. I do want to branch out to more shows but for now, I'm getting cozy in my comfort zone of Buffy and Gilmore Girls.
Another thing to think of, GG is not in a supernatural world where Buffy is, so I don’t think you can really compare characters when they are from totally worlds where monsters, demons and vampire me etc are prevalent in one world but not the other.

The real question should have been Paris vs Willow and Paris would have won that battle because at the end of the day Willow's magic issues were all about how much she hated who she was in high school because of the bullying and her best friend ignoring her wanting to be romantically involved while Paris is the bully at hand who would have had to stand up to Buffy, who would be defending Willow. Willow's later life problems stems from high school issues while Paris thrived academically, both in spite and because of Rory.
My first what if only works if you've played Last of us and Telltale's Walking Dead have you? My second one should be more feasible what if Joey from Friends met Barney from How I met your mother?
I'd say it depends on who'se turf they meet! If Cordelia would be sent to chilton (btw, why was she never sent to private school? Perhaps not on a hellmouth?) Where academics were the prime indicator, Cordelia would end up as either a side kick to Paris, or as in another sphere. If Paris lost her wealth sooner, and be sent to sunnydale high...she would not be able to dominate...and probably be eaten ;)
I feel like Cordelia parents didn't send her to private school due to the whole tax evading thing. If you are doing that I doubt you'd wanna spend money there haha. Think of all the random donations they'd need. Her dad would run 😅

Two rich smart kids with an ego is not a good mix. But I would think they'd team up occasionally to demolish Willow. I know for a fact Paris would hate her. If they both went to Chilton I don't think they'd cross paths much. Maybe Paris would even try to suck up to Cordy if she was part of the puffs too. But if not Cordy could probably mind her business. Cordy would be treated like a normal person at Chilton because everyone's rich there and there's plenty of other people just like her there. In Chilton they're like big fish in an ocean. But in Sunnydale they'd be way more aware of eachother. So they'd fight more often. Either way I love Cordy more. She had more room to grow emotional than Paris. Plus she's one of my fave. Everything that made her stand out in Sunnydale becomes redundant at Chilton. Even her fashion, which i adore, wouldn't matter because of the uniforms. She'd still be pretty and popular because of her charm but she wouldn't be as special as she was in Sunnydale. And we already know that Paris's academics and overbearing personality are the main reason she's known at Chilton. I doubt she'd pay attention to Cordy. So yeah it's like two big fish in an ocean of other rich pretty fish 😂 But if they both went to Sunnydale it's like two big fish in a small bowl. I can see them really clashing because they'd be hyperaware of eachother. Paris would probably hate her. Especially when Paris figures out how smart Cordy actually is. Then It'll be war. That would be a better comparison considering that they both exist in supernatural universes. I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion but I never fully saw Caroline fitting into the mean girl trope. She had some elements of that trope, particularly in the first season, but she shed those qualities pretty quickly.

So the funny thing is, I haven't seen Gossip Girl. I watched the first episode and then realized I kind of aged out of that show. I have seen analysis videos on Gossip Girls so I know about the characters.
