- Cordelia, Faith, Spike and especially Wesley are the few characters that undergo major changes and transformations. It's always a joy and a thrill to watch them on screen.
So here's a compilation video that will hopefully make you laugh or at least be amused during this quarantine :)

i think one of my favourite cordy moments is the episode where buffy is being hurt telepathically by people's hidden thoughts... except for cordelia, because she's the only one who ever talks openly and honestly.

Not really. The reason some people don't have an "internal monologue" is because they don't think with words.
We all think differently: some people will word their thoughts (or even talk to themselves), some will use images, some numbers, some colours, some don't even "represent" their thoughts.
In Cordelia's case and the others, they are indeed all word-thinkers, but Cordelia is the only one who directly voice her thoughts while the others do the normal thing of thinking and debating inside their head before coming to a conclusion and voicing it (or in the case of hypocrites, they simply say "what is correct," of course.)
I think Cordelia at her most Cordelia is when she admits she's mad at Angel, not because he put them in danger, but because he got rid of her clothes. Then forgives him when he buys her new clothes 😂

@@NawiTheCore Yep, that's one of my favorite bits from her, and besides those higher being scenes, when they lose their memories and revert to being teens is when we last see the real Cordy.

I liked her better in Angel. In Buffy she was a bully. I remember not liking her because she was so mean to Xander and Willow calling them losers and making it seem like she was better then them. I really hate people like that but in Angel she grew up and no longer behave like that. Actually started to behave more like Lios form Smallville.
They had to cut someone for spike. Couldn't afford them both on their regular pay.

I love how amused and fond Wesley looks whenever Cordy impersonates Angel, and then how he's clearly so charmed when she's mocking Buffy and Angel's relationship that he has to jump in as well.

Hard to dispute that! Wes started as comic relief, and became a total badass, and Cordy went from Queen bitch of the Buffyverse to one of the most virtuous characters of all - not an easy thing to pull off as a writer.

I loved Cordelia-and I hated what was ultimately done to her on Angel. Charisma has been so brave in coming forward about Joss Whedon's toxic and bullying behaviour. I will always love Buffy and Angel as shows, but I have zero respect for Whedon.
Me personally I’ve never had any respect for any directors of TV shows about that because I know there’s a lot of toxic things that happens behind the scenes so I will just always enjoy the show and I separate the show from the creators because it’s sad that the actors and actresses go through that especially actresses I mean they go through a lot worse it’s sad they had to go through that just because they’re trying to live a dream and I saw that they can’t live the dream without being you know dealing with stuff like that so yeah I never really pay attention to who did the directions and all that stuff are let’s just Steven Spielberg or something Or west craven those the only directors I actually you know get interested in
Cordellia's arc on Angel was fantastic... up until s4 then they murdered the character
Plus I think what really made Angel a great show was David Greenwalt's involvement in making it a more serious adult show. The less Joss there was, the better the show was. Also, I think Cordy should've ended up with Angel.
What they did to her character was a hate crime, and then we found out the behind the scenes mess

Cordelia grew a lot on the show. Early seasons of Angel she was a strong woman and still her own self Cordy. And then the whole shitshow that was Connor and Jasmine happened.

I can't split them, Cordelia was the best character in Angel and Spike the best in Buffy (but only better than Cordelia because they gave Spike's character more room). I would have loved to have seen Spike and Cordelia in the spin-off.

Such a good actress. SMG was of course great as Buffy and a steller actress herself, but Charisma auditioned for that part too. I could have seen her totally pulling it off. However, she was born to play Cordelia. Her comedic timing...ya just can't teach that stuff. And such a down to earth, intelligent woman in real life. Can't say enough good things about her.

To be fair Regina George (Rachel McAdams) is a very good character and had only 90 minutes to shine, while Cordelia has over 6 seasons in both series to have this character arc

My absolute favourite moment from season 3, when Buffy asks Cordelia to drive her home. The layers played with just two words, "of course", almost always make me well up.
I swear angel was like a fever dream is was literally CRACK, i fucking love our queen! The cordelia and willow phone call literally makes me cry everytime i watch it, it’s just too funny.
Really good moments. Her final appearance is so good, especially in retrospect. My favourite moment not in this list: when Xander finds her newly impoverished and humiliated in the store. She isn't taking it silently, but she _is_ dealing with it.
Nothing from Angel season 4, of course...

I like her in Angel as the writers made her more sympathetic while keeping much of what made her Cordy.
Later in the Angel series she gets that vision thingy from Doyle when he kissed her. She tries to get rid of it by kissing every male character she runs into.
I wonder how much the men in the cast had to pay the writers for that one...

I have not seen any Buffy or Angel since they left the air and can not for the life of me see why it is not going on 24/7 on syndication. It is a great show with characters you can care about and wonder about. I have to dig out my DVDs now. Buffy lives!!!

I'm so surprised that no one's mentioned the part when Buffy asks for a ride home that Cordelia doesn't insult her, make a funny comment, or anything. You can tell from the look on her face that even though she doesn't know why Buffy's hurt, she was so sympathetic. It's so wholesome and makes me love Cordy even more.

I just love how even tho she grew up, she still remained true to herself. When everyone else went through crisis, she stayed the same. Personally, I feel she's the most mentally strong character in the series.
It's hard to "reform" the mean girl without making it seem too cliche. Most shows don't even try to anymore. The villain usually remains as a common focus that everyone hates. Man I miss Buffy and Angel. Time to rewatch again I guess

Of all the compilations that have appeared in my recommendations, this is the one. One of the greatest TV characters. The writing for Cordelia, and the execution by Charisma Carpenter…ugh legendary. It’s criminal what they did to her in Angel S4.
