18 year old me was in that crowd and I will never forget that night 🙂
Wow. That's awesome
Also, Earthshaker Fest was a one-time festival in Germany in 2005 hosted by Manowar. It was so loud that they measured on the Richter scale.
Manowar did what others bands just dream of.. reunite all past and actual members together in the stage. Awesome.
Except those bands who never did fire a founding member...and whos lineup never has changed.
For example Rammstein is simply not able to dream of "past members"
@@sarcasticconsultant378 they didn't exist that long that's why they didn't have to replace anyone. Unfortunately Scott Columbus died otherwise he might have been in the band again.
@@egonegonsson8899 Please keep in mind: Joey fired Ross after just 8 years. And Rammstein exist's not that long?
Scott would have never been in the "band" after beeing fired TWICE.
"Unfortunately died" ??? Did you recognized that all the rumors about Scotts death have been deleted in the web? Seems they were true...
I'm really glad you discovered this EPIC version of this song!🤟 This show was and will be forever unique! RIP Scot Columbus 😢
Everytime watching this version I cannot stay away from comparing the guitarists by their solos in it.
And guess what? You won! By far!
Am missing a Manowar-guitar in every Manowar-song produced since you had to leave, no matter how great Joey's ideas might have been since then.
In my ears it alwas needed you to complete these song-"drafts" to become 100% real Manowar songs.
Hail To You Ross
@@sarcasticconsultant378 sorry for destroying your illusion, but I'm not the original Ross The Boss. But I appreciate him as much as you do. Nevertheless thank you
@@rossthebossOriginal Thanks for claryfying, but I did already find out that you're not...
;-) Jetzt bist Du leider verpflichtet, meine Nachricht an ihn weiterzuleiten...;-)
Your name says the opposite lol But it's obvious you're not him@@rossthebossOriginal
I agree that this must have been one of the best concerts ever put on. This performance is otherwordly. It's easy to miss them, but to either side of the main stage there is a stage for a 100 piece orchestra and a 100 piece choir. Earthshaker Fest was legendary.
This is one of,if not THE most powerful moments in metal history...everyone putting aside their differences to give a monumental performance in the name of true metal...
Cant wait for the next ManOwaR album reaction!
This particular video cuts out a few minutes early. Almost immediately after, they sword fight with their guitars, and later blow up their amps.
Also, not sure if you've noticed, but during the solos, they also matched up the guitarists with the drummers from their respective eras as well.
With Ross the Boss, they paired Donnie Hamzik to represent the Battle Hymns era (1982)
With David Shankle, they paired Rhino to represent the Triumph of Steel era (1992)
With Karl Logan, they paired Scott Columbus (RIP) for the Louder than Hell - Warriors of the World era (1996-2005)
I never noticed the drum pairing. Makes it even cooler
About time you returned to the kings of metal MANOWAR! 🤟😎🤟
What an unbelievable concert. Pure awesomeness.
It was in Geiselwind in Germany. I rode my little 250 motorcycle from England to go see it 😂. Awesome show! And I got to meet Eric Adams and Rhino so we’ll worth it
This to me is the ultimate live version of battle hymn 🤘
Hail to KINGS OF METAL💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥
hell yeah!
EARTHSHAKER was in Germany.
And yeah they rode to the stage on their bikes. It was the part of the show in one of their tours called Hell on Wheels
The Earthshaker Fest took place in Geiselwind, Germany at these coordinates: 49.765608, 10.468032. It took place at July 23th, 2005. And I was there. It was a hell of a Manowar show.
thanky you for Mannwar reacting SIR, greetings from Denmark👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
love this band❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Greatest show ever
Oh hell yeah!
This is pure masterpiece.... pity you haven't chosen the full version, this is not the end of the show. There another few minutes included guitar/sword fight etc... Manowar knows how to make a proper show!
Hail and Kill!
Yeah I got to check out the finale later. Was very cool
The most epic moment in Metal history.
@14:02 YES! Gotta love Scott Columbus RIP
Epic !
I wish so much I could have been there! It's a once in a lifetime experience! I remember how Manowar announced some epic shit back then, but they were never sparing with superlatives from the beginning! but NOBODY could expect THAT. How that must have felt, that energy, I think I would have just cried, maybe I would have fainted, I don't know, but I really envy everyone who was there! BTW Eric, one of the best singers in the world ever! over 60 now and not singing but still KILLING! The guys are an absolute role model in everything they sing; fighting the battles in life!!!!!!
More manowar music coming this week on the channel
BTW Eric is over 70 now! it's unbelievable! He is not aging, he is a KING! Joey of course as well! He wrote most of it, he created this whole world, a whole genre of fantasy battlfield metal or something, I would call it.
I have the original DVD. It's a really wonderful concert
There sound guys were amazing,at keeping everything distinguishable, when most bands would distorted at higher volumes
Best singer ever
Finallyna reaction to the full version of it
They gave all the bikes away in a lottery at the event and a custom made chopper too. Totally gutted to not win one. Wonder where they are now?
Mountains of the Sign of the Hammer album
ManowaR - They don't have any weak song. Guyana is a great one, too.
Another band i started with in the early 90th was Running wild. Maybe you like to give album "Pile of skulls" a try.
First solo, Ross the Boss. Second, David Shankle. Third, Karl Logan
i would love to been at this concert....would pay my first born :P
That's insane. You just want to participate.
If you are reading this and are perhaps interested in a cover, then take a look at the cover by Dan Vasc. It's great and he's an extremely diverse and powerful metal singer.
play this from 11 to 15 min to se the full ending (guitar fight) of the song which was cropped in the video u watched:

Yeah that was awesome
Ross destroyed the other guy. And I won't mention the pedo
Yeah, earlier in the show they rode their motorcycles onto the stage with their women on back. Total Bikers, dude
