Edit: Before I get anymore replies about adjusting my headset, I was talking about the width of the headset not the length.
I just got these and they’re very good, but they pinch/squish the top of your head and around your ears. It’s very uncomfortable. 😖 Sound and feature wise they’re lovely. Just be careful buying them in terms of comfort!

Had the 600 gen one for about three years,felt plastic,but sound was great,back then that was pretty much the only option for Xbox wireless ,but I liked them,though they finally broke,at that weak pivot point,so I'm glad they've reinforced that.
Probably get these ,on the fence between these and Arctics 1 (the new one's) and HyperX Flight X.
Most likely these one's,the super human hearing is awesome

I upgraded my TB Stealth 600 Gen 1 since the head brace broke, bought Gen 2 and man it feels like it doesn’t have any bass anymore. Gen 1 sound quality is way better IMO.
I only care about hearing the game and audio that is all i dont care about bass tbh
Did you even upgrade the firmware (if needed) and change the audio modes ?
When you turn off the headphones the ps5 doesn’t switch audio source automatically
rather annoying, I like that it doesn't change mic auto to controller as I don't like that default feature but...THE SOUND!? come onnn

Great review. Finally someone who focused on the sound quality. The Gen1’s were so low in volume. Did you have to change the software to take it to 100% volume or is that right out of the box?
Thanks! And no extra software necessary. It's that loud out of the box. It can get ear piercingly loud in fact. Especially in SuperHuman mode, the gunshots will rattle your eardrums at Max volume. Just make sure the internal volume on the PS4 is set to max (the manual will tell you how to do that). And for the Switch, make sure you use the volume rocker on the Switch console and set it to Max volume. Then enjoy your hearing while it lasts...😂

@@elimbymonte Superhuman mode: Push the Power button once quickly. Like 1/4 of a second. If it makes a Rising beep, Superhuman is On. Lowering beep. Superhuman is Off.
As for max volume: Push and hold PS button to get the side menu. Go to the Sound tab. Scroll to the Volume meter and max it out. 👍
How does it compare with the new ps5 headset? Show sound quality difference mix difference and overall design and comfort. That would be a perfect review.

No Mic review in this vid. Not sure if I'll make one as all my friends are on Xbox. I may make an add on video to this that may include some Mic info though. Not sure yet.

I Just returned these headphones. The audio was okay not great. The USB Transmitter was loose. Honest review is 5.9/10

Just got these from walmart for $87. My first headset ever. Ive been using earbuds since forever. Hopefully they work for ps5 because im getting it midnight launch lmao
Based on turtle beach's website, they should work fine with the PS5. *Unless sony changes their mind between now and release date. But that's unlikely because that would cause some unhappy fans.

Are you having this issue when playing fortnite? If so, I read somewhere that fortnite no longer supports chat through USB. I'm still waiting for the update to where they fix that so my son can use his headset on his pdp controller again.

You should try these headphones on the Oculus Rift s. The supper human hearing mode will definitely make your VR experience dramatically better.
Just got mine today at walmart for $87, honestly the ear cushion is backwards, it should be the other way around. Thats the only thing that bothers me, other than that it is quite good.

I have the stealth reacon 200 old set but still awesome. I think turtle beach should make the amp standard on all headphones. I will be buying these ones only for the built in amp and they look like the 200s which are gorgeous

i bought them like one month ago. the only thing i dont like is you have two cogs. one for game audio and the second for chataudio. the chataudio cog is just setting your mic sound level up. you cant turn down the volume of the chat audio in the party. the stealth 700 had this function. and you cant connect the 600s with the turtle beach app. only with 700s. thats a shame. but overall a nice headset

Do they have also the same virtuel surround sound like the 1st gen? Cant tell it out of the video. When you hold de mode button of the 1st gen it wil go to virtuel surround sound.
They don't list any "virtual surround" mode. But the sound that came out during Fortnite was directional when you wear them. Not sure if thats that same as I didn't have the old ones.

I have those headsets but I can hear my own eco, or everything going on around me. How do I fix that?
My PS4 Gold headset dongle broke so I picked up one of these and I'm so unhappy with it. You have to pull the dongle out and place it back in every time you want to use this with the PS4. It doesn't tell you the battery life on the PS4, and when you turn it off it doesn't switch back to TV audio. On PC, the headset will shut off after a very short period of silence and there's no setting too change that time period.
Agreed on the lack of battery meter and auto shut off on a computer. As for audio switching, yes, the PS4 system leaves it as "output through headphones" when you turn it off and back on. As for having to pull the dongle out, it shouldn't do that. It should always be ready to connect to the headsets even after the dongle light shuts off and even if you set audio output to TV. Just give it a few extra seconds when you power on the headsets because the dongle needs to reactivate from sleep mode. But if you set audio output to TV, then connect your headphones: just turn on the headphones, wait for the connecting sound/solid blue light on headphones, then go into your PS4 settings and switch audio out back to headphones. It woulda been nice if the PS4 would auto switch between headphones and tv based on if it were connected or not though.
Mine came with a wired charger, I disconnected it so I could charge it, it won’t turn back on, after being charged for 8 hours and still won’t reconnect. Can someone help me with this?

when the headset is not powered on and the dongle shuts off my ps4 doesn't swtich the audio automatically like the gen 1 dongle did no one can answer my question or I can't find any sources enless I go in the ps4 setting and switch it to chat audio instead of all audio anyonr have any answers to this if not i will take them back and keep gen 1
It's a unfortunate feature of these headsets. Can't be undone. You just have to manually switch audio output on your Playstation settings everytime you connect or disconnect them.
I'm having the same issue and trying to figure how to get it fixed. If i can't find a way to fix the problem ima return them.

This definitely makes me never want to play fortnite ever again. But a real question. Are those two dials independent game volume and chat volume? I just bought the 700 gen 2 and it only has a master volume and then a “mappable” dial which you can control things like super human hearing volume and Bluetooth volume. It’s pretty annoying that a version “better” than the 600’s don’t have simple features like that but, yeah...
Does the eye glasses feature really make these comfortable?

Can you do superhuman mode and bass boost together or they both are each individual mode?

Go into your audio settings for the headset and adjust the Mic Level. The higher you set it, the better it will pick up your voice, but it will also be more sensitive to other sounds like a squeaky chair. I show what that setting looks like in my follow up video to this where I connect it to MAC and do a Mic check. Watch the end with the Spiderman gameplay and you'll see what I'm talking about.

@@chinoantrax4701 These have constant Mic monitoring so you will always be able to hear yourself. If thats not your jive, then the upcoming Stealth 700 will be able to connect to an app where you can turn Mic Monitoring off. But they also more expensive too. So its a give and take unformtunatley. Woulda been nice to have a button to turn Mic Monitor off.
Can someone tell me how to fix this noise when you are at a party or when you are in the Ps4 menu in general, the noise comes from time to time and sometimes the sound sounds strange.
Yea its really bad sound quality when you move around in ps4 menu but when you play a game it fixes

How do I turn off and I Cannot hear my PlayStation pro?
Hold power for 1 second then release. If you hold it to long, it goes into pairing mode. As for making the sound come through the tv, either go into "AUDIO" in the settings and set "OUTPUT" to "TV"...or just unplug the USB dongle. As long as the Dongle is attached, the PS4 will always default to "HEADPHONE OUTPUT" even if the headphones are not on. Its kind of an annoying quirk, but aw wells.

Yup, they still work when plugged into a charger. Just make sure you have a long cable.

They have a specific version for the Xbox. This wont work. Their xbox one connects to Microsoft's proprietary wireless system which is why Turtle Beach had to make a specific xbox version.

I need help with my stealth 700 gen 2 and had the same issue with 600 gen 2. When ever i have the mico usb Connected and have the headset off the tv sound wont come back. I have to remove the usb so i can get sound from the tv. I already tried 3 different gen 2's and updated them. Do you know what it could be?
Nothing wrong with the headsets or the Playstation. Its just a thing the Playstation does. When the USB is attached, the Sound Output is automatically switched to the Turtle Beach Headphones regardless of if they are on or not. All you have to do is go into your sound setting and switch it from Headphone output to Tv output. And when you turn the headphones on, you'll likely have to do the same thing, but in reverse. Its kinda annoying to have to do that each time, but thats all thats going on. No faulty equipment on your end.
how can you plug this in and your Hotas? Don't they use the same usb port on the PS$? I just see one usb port on the front of my console.
