Thank you 🙏 I appreciate the comment! All the old plastic and rubber on these cars is definitely a good idea to fix before they leave you stranded and you need a tow that cost more than the part!
Haha right no problem man. i just finished overhauling my cooling system on my X3 it all started with the expansion tank then upper radiator hose elbow cracked and then thermostat got stuck all in 3 days@@dirtykurty92
@MartinM.-hs8gf nice! Sounds like you got your hands full of bmws! I also have a x3! 2008 n52 definitely more reliable than my 335i 😂😂 I sold my z4 I miss that car the m54 was definitely the most reliable
ahh ok you have the much newer engine ive had a lot of older bmw mostly E36 they always come and go i might get another off a friend of mine 94 318 sedan 5 speed Z4 are awesome i remember when the Z cars came out i loved them. something different. 335i i love but afraid to own lol@@dirtykurty92
@vincentenciso536 I just sent it. Haha you can drain the coolant if you want to be alittle more proper. I’d suggest doing an oil change after the repair too.
@@dirtykurty92 wow thanks , i had some parts out already and i waited for yout reply before i do anything , 6 hours ago got thr throtle body and disa out because my car has start stall problem and i know disa go bad sure enough disa flap gate was loose i fix it already but now i get to the icv to check , do you think the disa was causing fan on high thing ? But im checking the icv nkw to see whats going there anyway since every thing there is out already.
great video . also great to change this switch if replacing lower radiator hose as these cars are getting old that switch can break during removal

Did you drain all the coolant before ? Or you just sent it? I’m confused

Great vlog, cheers.
Thank you my friend! I appreciate it!
What year is your z4 and was your coolong fan was always on high ?
The car is a 2004. No the fan would not turn on
@@dirtykurty92 my 2003 x5 3.0 always high from i start in the morning and keep going all day , where is start to check ?
the first place i would look would be the idle control valve. i have a video of removing and cleaning it. ua-cam.com/video/ZF2Y4cfRAWs/v-deo.html

Oh sorry I was thinking it said high idle! High fan speed, only I’m not sure there is multiple fans speeds, is the ac on in the car?
Mine is in the up position not pointing toward the fan like yours
Thank you for the advice! I appreciate it!
Where is the location? On bmw 328i
Lower radiator hose going to the engine block? I think
I would call it radiator fan heat sensor.
You could definitely call it that too! 13621433077 is the part number, if you look it up bmw calls it BMW Auxiliary Fan Switch
