Exactly. He was only mad bc his bs wasn't working on her originally. This is why it's so important to not teach girls and young women that "be nice & smile for me" mentality. I remember learning about how the FLDS church referred to this mentality as "keeping sweet". This idea of politeness, never complain, accept men's offers and behaviors and don't refuse or upset them, is wrong and in this case nearly cost the woman her life. Hi! I have a masters degree in human genetics, we discussed this case in a bioethics class to weigh the ethical considerations of using DNA for criminal cases since this was the first case to do so! It was fascinating to hear you tell the story, hearing more context aside from just the trial documentation gave me a different appreciation for familial DNA to solve such a heinous string of crimes.
Hello Olivia, can I ask you, how far back can familial DNA be used? I’ve read discussions about DNA being taken from someone who lived quite a while ago, and descendants being traced through this. I guess what I mean is how long is human DNA viable? Sorry, I don’t know much about it but I think it’s fascinating.

I have literally had black men shout at me from their cars "This is why nobody likes you black women" (I walk EVERYWHERE bc I use public transport) and now I'm even more determined to never get into a car with any stranger 😣
I've had a black guy yell that no one likes white girls, don't feel bad. All because he didn't like my answer to "where dem chicken heads at?" I had no clue what he meant and I said 'on the chicken bodies?' and I don't blame him for not liking white girls anymore. Could be the same guy. He's prob into dudes now. Sorry about that
This one was such a sad sad story. Thanks for telling it, Bailey! There are a couple of documentaries on this dude with interviews from women who actually had run-ins with him and also some of his friends who in the end realized that he was probably not the best person after all. A lot of his friends were very scared of his son, so they would not talk to like police or other people. I think one of the friends who actually talked to someone from a documentary got assaulted while the documentary was being filmed and he had talked to them. So.... Those women MATTERED and they should have received proper justice with someone finding them for their loved ones!!!♥
@@heyyfarah It was called Tales of the Grim Sleeper by Nick Broomfield. i saw that on HBO, I don't know if you can still see it on HBOmax or HBO. It's still the case, sadly. And when black women act in self-defense, they get criminalized. And when they report suspicious activity to the authorities, they are ignored, gaslit, and/or harassed.
Bailey would you ever consider doing the amityville horror case ? Also have you ever thought of doing cases that involve demons / ghosts ? I feel most people who enjoy true crime like super natural too ! ❤️

This is proof that systemic racism is alive and well. I’m so sorry for the victims’ and their family, and I hope they have some peace knowing that justice was (eventually) served.
Racism?!? Try sexism, classism and patriarchy. This man victimize black WOMEN! And he is BLACK! This is about as usual men abusing women for their sick fantasies and getting away with it. BLACK WOMEN are the most victimized by their own men… you cant blame this just on systemic racism.

Back around 2019 I was waiting on a bus stop near a busy road. This young black man had to be in his twenties or thirties offered me a ride I literally said no. I would have never had my kids.. because this was before I had children.
I'm glad Bailey is speaking about this case. I'm from South Central (LA) and this case is *VERY* infamous in the local scene. However, it isn't spoken about as much in the True Crime Community. Unfortunately, due to the racial and socio-economic circumstances the women/girls were in, no one batted an eye. The victims' stories deserved to be heard. Sending love from LA ❤✨️
I'm from south LA as well, and it's truly disgusting what the prostitutes are doing on Figueroa... the police/ city really needs to do something about it. I can't believe they allow them to do that.
@lovejules. Figueh03 (locals: iykyk) is riddled with so many prostitutes, it's almost a banality. I went to an elementary school near Figueroa and I can remember the countless times I have seen a woman in sheer/almost no clothing.

YAS! So glad you are doing every other Monday now! I have seen (personally and online) too many UA-camrs try to create more and more content and it just burns them out!
Protect yourself! Protect the quality of you content! We are here for it ❤
Ingrid and Enietra were so strong for being able to come back and confront him! I hope they've been able to find peace and have been living happy lives! ❤
Side note: silencers don't work like many think, and i blame Hollywood lol. Gunshots are still quite audible! I think she was in shock, poor thing. So amazing that she survived!
Sorry about that
And comments like the ones those men make to you is a huge reason why women don't trust men. Stay safe out there! ❤
Wow. Ingrid blew me away- what a smart and brave young woman!
Great upload, Bailey ❤️🔥
This one was such a sad sad story. Thanks for telling it, Bailey! There are a couple of documentaries on this dude with interviews from women who actually had run-ins with him and also some of his friends who in the end realized that he was probably not the best person after all. A lot of his friends were very scared of his son, so they would not talk to like police or other people. I think one of the friends who actually talked to someone from a documentary got assaulted while the documentary was being filmed and he had talked to them. So.... Those women MATTERED and they should have received proper justice with someone finding them for their loved ones!!!♥
I watched the same documentary and you are absolutely correct about everything.
Where can I watch it?
@@heyyfarah The first one I saw was on HBO and then I saw another one on Prime. I'll get the names for you.
@@heyyfarah It was called Tales of the Grim Sleeper by Nick Broomfield. i saw that on HBO, I don't know if you can still see it on HBOmax or HBO. I apologize I got the documentary about Anthony Sowell on Prime called the Unseen confused with another show about Lonnie Franklin. Unseen is just as disturbing and unsettling because once again black women were being killed and assaulted for a long time with no one stopping this guy.
I work a lot and don’t have many friends here in Houston. When I listen to your vids in the evening it’s like talking with a friend. Thanks
I’m in Houston!
I'm not far from Houston!
The theme song!!! 😍😍😍 Thank you for being such a nerd btw!!!! I just love listening to your stories both here and Dark history and only a nerd can research like you do! ❤️🤓
YES, THE THEME 🎵! Love it and the noggin click!😂❤
MMM is literally my comfort show. I’ll never be thankful enough for Bailey. Thank you for everything you go girl, keep going. 🩷
I was watching this at nighttime but your story-telling was scaring me too much. So I had to come back during the day to watch this one. Nauseatingly chilling!!
My scare queen is BACK for another true crime story, just in time for Halloween!! ❤
let’s be fr here, they didn’t care cause they were BLACK women. makes me sick to my stomach how he can do that to the woman in his own community. sickening bro. police should’ve went harder for these women. i hope there souls are at rest now
Black people have a history of complaining if police investigate their community, there's a lot of self reflection needed for their community.
@@heybabycometobutthead she literally said they contacted the police multiple times and they weren’t taking it serious,so they had to do it themselves .yes black ppl has had the fair share of cops but everytime we needed them they have not fell thru, anytype of colored person they don’t go as hard as they should.
Yer the police don't care about women and Especially not black women and Especially not poor black women
It's still the case, sadly. And when black women act in self-defense, they get criminalized. And when they report suspicious activity to the authorities, they are ignored, gaslit, and/or harassed.
Facts 🎯💯
Ingrid and Enietra are so smart and strong! I couldn't even imagine surving this horrific man.
Ingrid is an amazing woman. I can’t imagine the strength it would take to testify one time never mind twice
I can’t be the only one who finds Bailey’s laugh so cute and funny 😄
Bailey would you ever consider doing the amityville horror case ? Also have you ever thought of doing cases that involve demons / ghosts ? I feel most people who enjoy true crime like super natural too ! ❤️
Tell her to start Supernatural Sunday 😭🤣 paranormal party 🎉
I’m glad you finally got around to this guy. I remember being so cautious during this time. I remembered the billboards asking the public to help identify the victims.
Bailey comparing herself to a perv cause she has random dog pics in her glovebox has me dying. 😂
I have a lot of random doggo pictures too😂
Why does bailey only have 7M ?!! She deserves way more recognition ❤❤❤love your vids Bailey
HAPPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE :)))👻
Hope you all stay safe and away from the creeps, be kind and observant out here,
people like the grim sleeper out here lurking about, looking for their next victims, dont be one of them. love you all. bye
happy halloween to you as well! 🎃🦇
hope you're staying safe too in this spooky world~
This is proof that systemic racism is alive and well.
Do a makeup look based on your favorite tattoo that you have 😊
Simplisafe literally saved my life last year-the panic button, in particular. Thanks for partnering with them!
Glad you're here :)
Stay safe girl!!💕
Couldn't finish this one 💔 thank you for sharing the stories of Black women time and again
the way i just watched this with my phone connected to the sound bar, doors opened, living ON A MILITARY BASE IN GERMANY, and my military police neighbor just listened to the whole beginning 🤣😐
The Uber scenario! Please be careful getting in Ubers, don’t say “it’s for Ashley?” LET THE DRIVER SAY YOUR NAME FIRST. be careful ladies
I hopw I don't sound rude, I'm genuinely curious. Does Uber in the US not tell you the license plate, make and model of the car?
@@F.R.A.N.K.I.EUber in SA shows all those and the name and photo of your driver
@@k.m512 same thing in Taiwan.
@@F.R.A.N.K.I.E yes they do but many don’t pay attention
I know that in Ontario, Canada, we get the make of the car, license plate #, and picture of the driver.
I KNEW you were gonna throw in the theme song for us when you started. You can just feel it building up and that makes it even sweeter when it happens, lol. Love you Baileeeeey ❤
Maybe, do decade specific makeup looks? Could be challenging and fun!
At 14, I was gifted the book The Hillside Strangler 😂 by my favorite aunt. That started my love of true crime, and here we are 30 years later!! You are my fave, I've been here a few years ❤
It’s so scary in this world … thanks Bailey for educating us 😔❤️
Back around 2019 I was waiting on a bus stop near a busy road. This young black man had to be in his twenties or thirties offered me a ride I literally said no. Then he kept pressuring me the bus came and gone because he was blocking the bus stop.. I think back if I would have taken that ride I think I would not be here right now😢.
Exactly why I say this watches like a Dark History episode
I'm from south LA as well, and it's truly disgusting what the prostitutes are doing on Figueroa... the police/ city really needs to do something about it. I can't believe they allow them to do that.
I've never heard of this case before (UK based)
@lovejules. Figueh03 (locals: iykyk) is riddled with so many prostitutes, it's almost a banality.
I went to an elementary school near Figueroa and I can remember the countless times I have seen a woman in sheer/almost no clothing.
I've got a lot of health issues and I swear this woman makes my time in the hospital a little more easy, thank you Bailey you are amazing ❤
❤
@@Solènelamigonnelicorne ❤
Hey girl hey! You should do the dark story of Lloyd Avery II. He was an actor and his story was crazy. I'm excited to see your take on it.
Finishing my work in the lab, processing blood and listening to Bailey! Love it!!!❤
Bailey always delivers❤❤❤
This video hasn’t been up for ten minutes and almost five thousand of us have linked up❤❤❤
Eww this case is just so gross! All these poor black women and so many of them who will never be found is just so heartbreaking. But on a makeup related note, I’ve been playing with new blush techniques too girl! New makeup series idea: Bailey tries new popular “it” girl makeup like the e girl and cool alt girl and “that girl” makeup 😜
Bailey saved my life I love being able to play this UA-cam channel while at work ignoring toxic customers and coworkers. I'm not bothered by the unimportant anymore. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I play her videos while I do my makeup and get ready all the time
I think you need a new job….
@@Allymickey that's not always an option. But allowing myself to stay in that atmosphere, will help me deal with narcissist personality type better understanding negative people identifying personality types .... So I win either way. I won't be at the job for much longer.
@@Allymickey no matter where I work people won't change how they operate. This is a spiritual realm hunny.
Thanks for making Mondays more bearable, Bailey ❤😊
Enietra and Ingrid are seriously such brave women.
Every other Monday seems way less stressful, I hope it helps a lot. I can’t imagine doing all the research you do; I’m so thankful for it and your work ❤❤
You should do an unsolved case. The Atlanta Ripper is an interesting story. I absolutely LOVE MMM and Dark History. Thank you for keeping us entertained ☺️
Vintage/pin up goth look? I think you'd look super cool with the hair and everything.
I really miss Bailey’s Halloween Makeup Era 🖤
You are seriously the best storyteller!! Have a great week 🖤
Thank you for covering our stories Bailey❤
We love and appreciate you so much Bailey ❤ Us true fans are totally fine with every other week. We are just lucky and blessed to be able to watch you. Thank you for being you ❤
DUDE. Ingrid is a BOSS. Way to go, girl.
It's been around 3 years since I've been watching Bailey, the amount of joy I get watching her videos is so big, I love this channel, she's such a lovely person and a beautiful lady.
Thanks for giving all of us something to look forward to every other Monday ❤
i watch so many true crime channels but nothing compares to Bailey, the way she narrates and gets you involved in the story is unique and never fails to hook you up! feels like a friend infodumping 😂
I haven’t gotten to watch in a while but I always come in and binge watch to catch up.
I just want to say Bailey you have such a glow about you. You look like you’re happy. You’re always beautiful but it’s different the last couple videos ❤ Thanks for always putting out amazing content!!
YAY!! Been feeling like a cheater because missing you has me watching other true crime creators. (You're my only makeup one, though. Promise!)
I cant watch makeup ones either!!!!
I love listening to true crime podcasts😍
Same! I love true crime but Bailey is the only make up person I listen to.
@@whoknows7593 same! I think makeup is super fun & cool but I'm not that into it, but the styles I like best are the kinds she does!
There is plenty of room for talented true crime creators :)
I also love Better Off Red’e Crue Trime where she does her make up and tells a story. You can love many at once 😇♥️
There are still people out there that truly believe with all they are that DNA isn't real.....that terrifies me!!!! Even people in public office. 😱😱
Those people must not be very bright.
They say "it's always the quiet ones" but it's not! Sometimes it's mr nice guy, the last one you'd suspect and that terrifies me
I listen to Bailey all day everyday at work, I'm so happy you uploaded, this is going to push me thought the last hour so much quicker!
Why didn’t Ingrid’s boyfriend walk her to the train station?? Thanks Bailey for another incredible story
I was asking myself the same thing 😢
I’m sure this same question will stay with him his whole life, but it’s not his fault this happened.
or hers. You never really know the consequences of what you do and how until fate manifests@@rachelrogers7517
Maybe she's been going to that same station all the time by herself, even at night. But this time she got unlucky.
When did she say ingrid had a boyfriend?
I love this series!!! I've gotten super interested in the Elizabeth Fritzl case and i think it would be great on here! I know its a pretty uncomfortable one so if you dont want to thats ok! Keep it up!!
You should do makeup from different eras like the 60s, 80, 90s, 2000s would be cool❤️
Hiiii! Im so excited for Halloween, my twins are now 3 and can not only understand the trick or treat process but this is their first “non social distancing” Halloween. They will be dinosaurs! Everyone stay safe and enjoy some Bailey time 🫶🏼👻🎃
