Campfires will get destroyed, but they are low priority on monster attack list 5. If you have reshin and wood on you, but no stone, just place down torches araund the circle at night and you will survive it as weak meadows graydwarfs hate fire and will run away from it (however they will use rocks to attack those) 6. Boars dont like fire either, so if you pop your fire torch when low on hp, they will run away 7. Mobs like a tick if they jump you and you enter/exit dungeon, they will teleport with you inside 8. You should always carry wood, hoe, build hammer and stone (when exploring). If you get a raid (like wolfs) in wild, you can put down workbench and raise ground up in air there wolfs cant reach you 9. Before you fight a raid boss, disable auto pickup. A lot of bosses will destoy area arand them and if you end up picking full stone (while having belt) and if you die, the corpse revival will be pain. Heck i recomend you disable it when you normaly corpserun to. 10. If you have a bad wind, turn ship 180* to the wind and simply row backwards (its also smart to use this in ashlands when you look for landing area) 11. You can push the full cart of items on your staring normal boat and increasing inventory of your 4 slot ship.... it does however need a bit of building magic to make it work 12. Dont carry silver down the mountain...its to heavy. Instead just make a cart, load it with silver and push down the mountain. It saves so much time. 13. If you are truly hardcore, play with no armor, daggers + swords only (cloack allowed due to weather) and only a animal helmet (leather, troll, root mask, fenris hood and hood of ask) and name your character Sunraku 14. Never land in swamp with boat in low lvl armor.... water area has a very high spawns 15. You can tap give item button on forge realy fast and not do a slow give item (animation cancel pretty much). Works on food to. 16. Have a boat away from your main base. If it doesnt render, mobs will not attack and destroy it. In ashlands you can raise ground in water and move it as far as possible as game lets you and land mobs will not attack the ship. 17. Visit northlands. They are a great place to build as no monsters spawn there (and knowing devs its gona take 2 years to get next zone update). No food can grow there.

8, 22, 56, 65, 70, 84, 91, 94, 96 and 100. Not bad.
nice! quite a few!
Some good info there for sure. While I already knew about most of it, some of those tips are new to me as well. It's always good to learn new things.
Thanks Rusty. I'm not surprised you knew it all with all the hours under your belt
"Things Valheim NEVER told you!"
Number 3: *Literally the opening exposition*
totally fair criticism. Its included for those who skip the intro / those who have played through the game so many times they've forgotten
@@SpazzyjonesGaming Hey, good on you for actually acknowledging it! It really isn't that big of a deal, I mostly just thought it was funny.
@@Sivanot I try to respond to everyone! :) Always appreciate the comments!
Basic wood arrows don’t use feathers, just use those.
that is an option
i never knew the flower stone circles in the tip 39 were unbreakable! i thought they were normal stone :O
Great for building bases on!
I did learn new stuff in the video even though I have 4k + hours played (specifically, the setting for attack direction). Nicely done!, this is a very informative video
Thank you very much! Glad I could share something with even an experienced player like yourself 😁
wow, i have almost a thousand hours in the game, but i didnt know a few things! thank you!!!
nice glad there were a few new things! Are you the same sofie from stream? Nice to have you in the comments :)
#41: lumberjack Thanos be like “I used the trees to destroy the trees”
hahaha
Why would you disable camera shake as its fun and makes you wonder if u died in the heat of the battle
true i get that!
I liked the video, although I knew most of the tips on it. I didn't much like the thumbnail for the video, since it seemed like there would be something interesting lore-wise there, and there just wasn't. Good clickbait I suppose, but I was disappointed that the thumbnail had given such a wrong impression.
Appreciate the feedback fanged. Thats my bad. Its my job to pull you in with the thumbnail and then deliver on it. If I am giving the wrong signal on what the video will be about, thats on my! Hopefully I can do better on the next one :)
@@SpazzyjonesGaming No worries! Like I said, the video was good to watch, so I'm still happy to have done so :)
@@TheFangedwolf glad to hear it!
9:32 - basic wooden arrow requires no feathers and oneshots birds just fine. I actually use the them for almost everything except combat.
But if I'm out of good arrows and can't return to base, I can make some wooden arrows at the spot as emergency solution. Axe and Hammer are always with me, and wood is everywhere too.
Yeah for sure. This is also an option
i knew all of these but this was still a great video to get some refreshers.
Thank you sir! Definitely a beginner oriented video
17:59 the deathsquito jumpscare was crazy 😭
hahah cut away at the perfect time
The weather being shared across all worlds blew me away a little. I will never forget that the weather I'm looking at is what every single other person is looking at. It really adds that feeling of unity when you look at a storm and know others are looking at the same one, or enjoying a warm sunny sky
agreed! pretty cool isn't it
On console, minimal zoom is lb+d pad, I forget which direction
nice! i have never played on console
@@SpazzyjonesGaming If you can, it would be nice to find out the console controls when sharing shortcuts like these, but I understand why you didn’t.
The camera shake in Valheim is too good to turn off.
for real? I find it distracting
8 lol. Often noticed it change but no idea I could change it.
man you and be both haha
Number 40 is not correct. In ashlands fire blobs destroy even terain so those walls wont save you :)
Those explosive buggers!
it's not segmented and all of them so far are basic so i am not gonna watch it, i would recommend you segment your videos.
Good feedback man. I had intended for their to be segments. (Apparently if a segment is less than 10seconds it breaks the segmentation of the video - just learned that so my bad!) Anyways, it is fixed now! I hope you consider checking out the video again as there are some more advanced tips in there!
I wish having to take the dragon eggs all the way across the map was something he told you
It's a bit of a pain in the butt
I found three on the mountain with Morder myself.
Look for BIG mountains, not thenfirst you see.
@@robnoel9306 yeah in my experience Moder is in a big mointain biome that will very likely have 3 eggs nearby
17:58 He die
Haha I think I literally did in this clip but I cut it before I did
0:59 if your on PC and use controller you should actually turn on auto sprint. Also go to controller and change the preset to console if you are kinda new because it’s a much better layout
Oh fair enough. I personally have never played on controller
@@SpazzyjonesGaming I play games with my dad that’s around 60. Since we are playing from miles apart it’s good to put him on controller because controls are the same for every game and it’s no different to his PS3 XD.
It also tells you all the controls when you hit pause so it’s very helpful. Controller is the perfect input for casual players on 90% of games
@@ReepsWasteOfTime 100% agreed. much more approachable than a mouse and keyboard. Amazing that you can stay connected with your dad despite the distance between you
@@SpazzyjonesGaming thanks to gaming XD. Without games there isn’t much else that lets people connect and just spend time together while on opposite sides of the world
@@ReepsWasteOfTime totally agree. Gaming has helped me stay in touch with tons of friends after I left my home town
Wow does the leviathan reset work on servers?
Thats a good question. As long as another player isn't nearby I think it should work. I am not 100% for multiplayer though
The amount of times I have pushed, built routes, and such to move tamed animals is now embarrassing. Thanks for the tip on the harpoon. That will save me so much time! LOL
no problem!
The valkyrie that brings you to Valheim is NOT fallen. The actual fallen valkyries are the ones that live in the Ashlands. Well living is a term loosely applied considering I'm confident they're undead. They're distinctly evil whereas the ones that bring vikings to Valheim are either good or at worst neutral.
yes thats my bad very good point. They are just Valkyrie. As you said, the fallen are in the ashlands!
Big w on that sponsor nice good job
Thanks so much!
Caveat to 13 - corresponding work bench that is a high enough level for the unlock of the item you want to repair. You can't repair a black metal atgeir at a level 1 forge
Very good point. Thanks for pointing that out
"hugin, or as you might know him..."
that little shit bird anoying the crap out of me in my creative building worlds...
thats the guy!
The chair trick for crypts and hammer one for silver veins are nice. Could be useful if you're in multiplayer and want to get some advanced resources before your whole group is ready to take on the previous boss.
Absolutely! Both are great for breaking the normal way of progressing the game
Turning off camera shake, down flashing lights, no auto run? How do you enjoy the experience? xD
haha totally fair
70, did not know they would reduce stamina drain while building. The amount of time I have wasted building my mountain castle waiting for stamina is scarring now.
Yeah it's great! Definitely the clothes to wear when working on your base
I was pleasantly surprised to find a new learning at Point No. 34!
200+ hours into the game over the years, yet I did not know forsaken power activation can be cancelled. I trigger them accidentally so many times. Thanks for the quality content SG, your thorough effort behind every video shows! You are my go-to channel for Valheim content!
So happy you learned something new and love your kind words. Thank you!!!
Nice video, bro. I have a 2,5k hours in Valheim and even moor learn new sucht. :D Thanx.
Thanks man! I am proud to have introduced at least one thing to your even after 2500 hours
I personally use wood arrows that dont require feathers to shoot birds
That works too as they only require wood
Another amazing video, Didn't know about tip 50! Would you mind making a guide for potions?
Amazing! Yes I am actually planning on a video for that exact topic
One think
Not all events start if you are on base
In mountains you can be attack by wolfpack anywhere
Event name is they are hunting or somethink like that
That's right. The wolf one specifically only spawns when you are NOT at your base
If you fight the bosses in another world and hang the trophies in yours you get no base raids.
ooh I didn't know that
Number 9 I learned something new, didn't know the day/night cycle was 30 minutes
Now got know! Glad you learned one thing shadow
I like using the spear for it's ability of having a large aggro range when theown. It's good when trying to get boars at runestones. They all come to you rather than having to chase them all down. 😂
Yeah spears do have a nice range
Thing 97 was the only thing i didnt know
nice! im glad there was a least one thing that was new to you. Hard to find obscure items that people don't know these days
@@SpazzyjonesGaming yeah true
31. im a solo player
nice! glad you learned something new
today i learn #31 😂
Nice!
87 seems to be patched. Relogged twice recently to swimming in the ocean with no leviathan within sight
So its definitely been nerfed. For me it still worked when i disconnected immediately after the leviathan started groaning but not after it started submerging
Wow, did not know 31.
glad I was able to share something new!
80, Didn't know third attack in a combo did more damage. Cool.
oh yeah! important thing to know
How did you not see the damage numbers?
@@robnoel9306 I just didn't notice. How did you not learn manners?
@@admiralspandy It was a normal question. Asking a question = no manners?
I also think it's quite surprising you didn't see the damage numbers, since it displays literally everytime you interact with monsters or animals. Even tamed ones.
@@babaecalus Questions are fine, condescending questions are douche bagey.
I didn’t know 31. I don’t have enough surtling cores to waste on something like that though
Legit. There are much better uses for them
There is no secondary attack for stagbreaker. Slamming the ground is the primary attack.
Yes good point. Very right
100 weatherforecast
100% never wrong
Some tower shields in the later game will parry. Was a game changer in the Ashlands
what? that isn't true. Only Round and buckler shields can parry
Didn’t know 50
nice ! glad there was something for you to learn
spazzy is so cute
wow teme! So nice!
valheim is like a combination of minecraft with elden ring :) great game
So true. I love it

you can replace food before it starts flashing
i dont think you can
