Valheim Ashlands: Charred Fortress - Solo

I build the 2 bench, but I forgot my hammer for the AOE, so I stop recording then started again after getting it.
This is probably my 12th fortress, I have honestly lost count.
Took me around 7 minutes to clear all the mobs.

Very good demonstration of using new and previous biome weapons effectively. Love the simplicity of tactics to reduce the new charred mobs. :)
Been working on learning how to master the Ashlands solo as well and finding some of the same items like the Mistwalker spirit / frost damage really helps. I'm going to pull back out my Demolisher - you really showed how this is still a very good AOE weapon.

Thank you very much! I have tried the new melee weapon, but except in certain specific situation I find the Mistwalker to be the best choice for my play style.
Can't live without the CC from frost dmg.

Uh, don't you have to ram it anyways at the middle tower? I guess outer wall breach solo makes more sense for magic users with aoe. Kudos for solo without skellies though rough biome

Thanks for the video. Just finished Mistlands (FINALLY, I can see more than 2 feet ahead of me!). I want to take over a charred fortress to make my base, so this gives me an idea of what I'm up against. Awesome job!

Thank you. After that I move my portal inside and get a ram to take the door down.

I dug out the interior as deep as it would go then made that my ashhome. Can make quite a nice large base which is finally safe.
A Morgan took issue with the first base I attempted to make, got trapped inside and proceeded to demolish the lot while I was dealing with everything else.

Thanks. I found it easier to survive compare to breaking the door and getting surrounded by the enemy when it breaks.
