    this is a great technique! I was doing a premade version through aftereffects but having it all through c4d/octane is brilliant

    it would be great to be able to buy such material for octane from you, sometimes there is no time to repeat the tutorial, but there is money to buy the material, it would be great!

      Hey! yes i heard it quite a lot of times, thinking of doing patreon around 10K subs, till then i will have time to do materials related to previous tutorials, and later with each tutorial there would be mini pack of assets related to it. With new year there gonna be new content 100 %.

    Hello! Great tutorial, thank you! What's your render configuration? This is so fast.. i got an 3090 with a 5900x and my render is so much slower...

    • @NojsGraphics
      @NojsGraphics  Рік тому

      Same! i also have 3090, make sure to use Nvidia Studio drivers and enable RTX accelaration in Octane settings.

    Hey your tutorials are amazing! Just discovered your channel and I am going through each of them now. Do you mind explaining the geometry of the screen? Is it just a flattened cube subdivided and placed into the monitor model? Also is the screen unwrapped?

    • @NojsGraphics
      @NojsGraphics  2 роки тому

      Hey! Thanks! Its from assets library in C4D, you can type in Monitor or screen and it should pop up, and test it out!

    How do you have nice round corners of Texture nodes ?

    I can't find the custom pattern button on the material node no matter what, with the OSL stripes texture everything is much complicated bc I cannot transform or change location :( any suggestion to fix this?

    • @NojsGraphics
      @NojsGraphics  2 роки тому +1

      Hey! close node editor and open it again, it should fix the issue, if not you probably need to update your octane.

    • @gienaaaa
      @gienaaaa 2 роки тому +1

      @@NojsGraphics I have the same. Strips are only in the blue node tab. OSL PATTERN. And he's there with coding. Octane latest version. and in RRDF there are only 3 points, and in your video there are 5.

    • @NojsGraphics
      @NojsGraphics  2 роки тому +1

      @@gienaaaa Strips are in Octane probably from begining, they were move to custom pattern, pretty sure before it was just in green group of nodes. Anyway if you have latest stable or latest experimental (i tested out both) build of Octane on Windows, you should have it. Bug where costum pattern dissapear is still there, all it takes to fix it is to close node editor and open it again, and it should appear at bottom of green group(generators) in node editor.

    • @gienaaaa
      @gienaaaa 2 роки тому

      @@NojsGraphics They won't appear. What is strange is that in cinema r19 with the R4 version of octane, these nodes are. And in r24 with R6 version of octane they are not.
