Thank god you didn't explain any technical details regarding OSL Textures! I love learning how to code and spending a few hours reading documentation. You guys always seem to find a way to skip the most important part of every single tutorial you post. I'm quickly reminded why I do not utilize this channel as a resource.
This video is all you have to know to texture the right way in octane. Love!
Thanks for watching!
For those wondering, the OSL is "OSL layer with alpha"

How did you change the look of nulls in c4d object manager?
What is your material? Glossy? Specular?? Is it a universe?
Hi Chad, is it possible that you share the script for the octane osl texture node?
Can you do the same for subsurface scattering please?
Very cool, thanks Chad... Now un-blur what ever you have hidden... Don't be like the pentagon.
When will Octane be available for C4D R25?
They actually have released it! If you go to your Otoy account, just download the most recent installer.
Why no dirt node? Awesome tips btw - thank you!
I have a couple vids showing off octanes dirt node over in Plus 👍
@@cgpov Of course, I've watched them all! Love them. I suppose that's why you didn't need to display it once again here.. my mistake. Thanks again!

Can I use this method for octane blender too ?
Not sure if this works 1-1 in Blender. But give it a try. It should be close.
