- Hey guys! Today’s video is all about how I dye my hair at home using Clairol Natural Instincts. I show you how I got my new hair color as well as tips for making dying your hair at home a lot easier. I like to change up my makeup and style a little bit whenever I get a new hair color so in this video I share with you guys a few things I like to pair with my new cool brown color! I'm looking at this color to dye my hair. The box color looks way darker on the box. It looks brunette! Are you sure that was the color you used?
Karaskorner Just a quick tip with the Natural Instincts color since they are semipermanent it’s better if you use a shade darker than what you would normally use. Because it washes out in 15 or so times it fades. I’ve been a hairdresser for over 30 plus years. If you have lighter ends than she does. I would suggest that you wet and also use some conditioner or a filler. Because the lighter your ends are they become very dry and porous. I know mine grabs color on the ends really bad. Because we have 10 levels in hair color so she is about a level 9 on her ends. I’m pleasantly surprised that she didn’t have greenish or grayish. Because ash cooler colors are bad about grabbing excess on your ends. Yet as it doe t have any Pneumonia ammoniaI used to use this brand when I ran out of my Wella Color. This brands have some nice colors for Toners. When in doubt you could use a color with a. Neutral base. Normally the box will say N. For. Neutral. Cooler means it has some ash base and G it has a gold base. Hope this helps. Have a Blessed week. 💖

This color looks so great on you! I haven't seen that brand here, but im a fan of the casting creme glosses. They are also semi permanent and by the time my hair has grown enough that you would be able to see the roots, the color has worn off enough that it is a smooth change.

Great Video clip! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Millawdon Goodbye Gray Trick (should be on google have a look)? It is an awesome one off guide for learning how to reverse gray hair fast without the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my work buddy got great results with it.

Great tips for this video since I was looking for a temporary change in my look as a blonde Asian. I don't know if I want to stay forever blonde but I tried this out today but in Canada we don't have this shade. I got a similar one #24 cool medium brown and it did the trick. I should have just lightly coated my ends to give it a more ombre balayage look but I do still see some blonde bit streaks seeping through to give my look a 3 dimensional look so it worked out well pretty much like Britany's. You can buy a color remover if you dyed it black. If your hair is naturally black then you may have to lighten and then color.

I tried this and it totally darkened my blondes a lot more than I wanted. I don't recommend this at all. It's almost as if I wasted money to get highlights in the first place. Thanks for the false advertisement.
