      @@jessi2077 Don't colour, go grey naturally. Absolutely horrible to have to touch it up all the time because of a solid demarcation line. I also started going grey early and regret ever dying my hair.

Which reminds me why I miss my hairstylist so much and especially her magic scalp massages, which can cure any headache! One thing I would REALLY love to see is how Dinna blowed dried her own hair. Is this only recommended for touch ups? If this is my first time using one of your colors, should I continue the color all the way through the length of my hair? Thank you!

      since the rest of the hair had already been colored there was no need to double color it, moreover , frequent coloring burns hair.

    Hi Dinna, just seen your tutorial and really enjoyed it and yes learned from it in a few ways, 🙏 THANK YOU! Where can you get a level five hair dye? Do you sell them? The dyes I’ve used cover my hair pretty much but there’s those areas that come out this strange color, more with a grayish tone I guess I’m saying. Your hair color looked so deep, rich, shiny and healthy. But most of all your color looked true all the way around, very evenly. It looked beautiful and you did a awesome job! Can you advise me ? • @hollis1440

    What if you’ve never used this before? Couldn’t the roots end up a different color than the rest of your hair if your only doing the roots? My roots aren’t all grey but I have some and I’d like to cover it. My roots that aren’t grey are actually darker than the rest of my hair. Once my hair gets in the sun it starts to get lighter so my roots are darker( my natural hair color)

    I am a male. Have thin fine hair. I have white hair coming in, like 40 percent white. My hair color on is brown, like Tom Cruise, Robert Downey Jr. (on a hair ring it’s #3). I am using Matrix Socolor 7AA (to avoid reddish tint in lights, or orange and that works well). I used to use 6AA but barber said it’s too dark. Since my white hair is accelerating fast (not gray, white like Santa), my normal 50 percent color and 50 percent #10 toner I would apply and wait 15 minutes. I don’t want to burn my thin fine hair so scared to use 20. Not sure if my fear is correct though. Anyway, my white hair is not taking the color. It appears like a tiny bit clearly you can see the white hair still. You recommend 45 minutes. Is this safe? Is my problem due to toner strength? Old toner (not sure how to tell). The color mixes as it should. Should I be using a different ratio? Until now before I had a lot of white hair, it looked great, but, now it’s not. Is it too soon to retry, it’s been about 7 days. What can I do to get my thin fine white hair to absorb the color? Thank you.

    Dear God💗❤️💗💖💖💖❤️💞🙏in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.
    I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

    I was 16 when a guy found my 1st gray hair At A Party! I was standing talking to a group of friends, it was truly devastating. He stood there holding it up to the light saying something like this is impossible. I was speechless. It's not like I had a whole lot going for me standing at 5'3" and 130lbs. LOL That 130lbs sounds good now but back then it was equivalent to 180lbs. I was hoping you could tell me if there's a way to dye your hair brown and get a reddish highlight that will come out looking natural. I had a dark brown color with beautiful red highlights but honestly cant find a color to match. I also have thought of trying to dye my hair sliver, but fear I'll look much older or washed out. I'm 53 yo almost 54 yo and haven't ever had my hair done professionally. I know it's the only way to guarantee a good job but I've been doing my hair a long time now. Honestly cant really afford the prices they charge. If I decide to go silver I'd most likely go in or have my friend melissa do it. She owned her own shop when she was younger and had done a beautiful job highlighting my hair once. Thank you for sharing and look forward to your possible answer.

    When the corona virus shut everything down, I panicked. I had colored my hair when I was young, but now, I'm 71. HOWEVER, everyone has complimented me on my hair color. Got someone to check for places that I'd missed & they said there were no "places"! My hair is better than ever. This is better than what my stylist uses at his salon & he is very picky! I've already asked him if I could bring my own color, but pay him the same. That's how much I like it! He said "YES". It appears to be good for your hair!

      I do it with the bottle. I put my head to my knees and go with the bottle each half cm from neck to front. From right to left. Or from left to right. Like you want. At least I go to the front and look where colour is missing. Then a bit massage with cloves, that the colour is everywhere. I need 60 minutes to wait, or my grey hair keeps grey. And I look fresh again. 😉 Sorry, english is not my motherlanguage, but I hope, you understand what I mean.

    That doesn’t explain how to cover stubborn hair..it just shows how to apply

    • @carolinekimyoga
      @carolinekimyoga 4 роки тому

      They do address this at the end - the main tips for stubborn greys are to 1) start timing after the color is applied to all of the grey roots / hair and 2) add 10 minutes to the standard 35 minutes. This worked well for me. I've used Madison Reed twice for my roots since being stuck at home because of COVID-19.

    • @Briannafrancis-e9g
      @Briannafrancis-e9g 4 роки тому +1

      carokim94 actually the best way is to mix warm water with the tint(no peroxide!) for grey stubborn hair,this is to soften the resistant greys,then colour roots as usual with 20vol...wait 35 mins, then do the mid lengths and ends for a further 10mins..total is 45mins.
      I only came here cos it was in “recommended”,so I watched it

I bought dark blonde natural from Loreal preference and will mix it with 2 or 3 package of ardell red, gold, corrector. I have a lot of greys on the root like you. Should I start from the ends and then to the root or start from the root and then the whole hair? Please advise. Thank you.☺

    A little trick I use if my barrier cream
    doesn’t block color from staining my skin,
    is glycolic acid.
    I’m a sensitive skin type so I don’t use
    any AHA’s for a week prior.
    After I wash the color out, I use any AHA
    (exfoliates top layer of skin) on
    hairline stains.
    Hope that helps

    What if my hair is long? I am grey on top but have old blonde highlights I want to blend in. Do I apply, wait 45 min then come it through and wait again? I am blonde.

    • @Briannafrancis-e9g
      @Briannafrancis-e9g 4 роки тому

      Paige Reed yes you’re correct. But make sure the colour is warm not ashy(flat with bluey tone) or it will turn greenish.
      If it’s a darker colour your highlights will still show through but will not be blonde. If you want it completely gone you need a reddish dye on the blind first. It called “filling”. Then dye the whole head with the chosen colour.
      If you want to stay blonde? Just do the roots for 35 mins then the ends(for extra 10 mins)..total 45. If it’s really long you may need 2 packets of the colour

    • @AndSoItGoes24

      I use it and my grays stay covered for weeks. You can only see a few grays at my temples when they start to grow out. I’m about 40-50% gray (i think) and I color every 5 weeks. That works well for me - i could go longer, but two factors affect my coloring schedule: 1) I use a red color, notoriously the hardest to keep vibrant, 2) my hair grows very quickly. But as you see, I don’t even have a sense of how gray I really am because MR color works so well!

    I normally use the Revelon box kit and notice that the color goes through the gloves and my hand and nails are stained for a few days. I've tried lemon, acetone to remove it off my skin but with very little results. Ty for your input.
