My tip- If your hair is longer than shoulder length, buy 2 boxes of hair dye. If you don’t end up needing the second box, just use it in a couple months when your hair color has faded. When my hair was chest length, I bought one box of hair dye and it wasn’t enough to do all of my hair. Luckily, my niece was dyeing her hair at the same time, and I used what was left of hers.
I just went for it and stuck the shit in my hair lol

I do it this way, too. It is actually easier than any other way I have seen on UA-cam. But this is only my third time doing it myself. It gets easier each time you do it again.
@@sheilacrawford1583 When I dye my hair in a new color, I just soak my hair in the product. The only thing you need to be careful about is to get it through to your scalp. I work in the product with my right hand and use my left hand for everything else. It’s way easier and faster that way. It only works for cream colorations tho. I only do the root treatment when I redye it.

It depends if it's permanent or semi-permanent colour. If it's permanent, it contains bleach and you should do roots at the end of dyeing. If it's just semi-permanent, without bleach, you can start with roots.

+Jenna Marie We had to leave the color on her hair longer than recommended so we could take all the shots we needed to show the process clearly. That's why the roots are a little brighter than the rest of her hair. If you follow the recommended time, this won't be a problem for you.

Jenna Marie you really needed to color the roots after. When you color the roots first it will be brighter than the rest of your hair because we have a natural heat on our head so it is really recommended to color an inch away from the root up to the tips then later on you can color the roots
No, you always do the roots first. They roots are healthier so they take longer to process

I don't do it this way. First you can only clip your hair up if it's long enough. With shorter hair it's not necessary. I still divide the hair though. I apply the color to the roots first and work it on with my finger so it's well applied. Then I wait the 25 minutes, then apply more color the rest to my hair and leave it on only ten minutes. The older hair has been colored before so you shouldn't leave color on as long. Then I comb it all through. Rinse it and wash the hair twice. I've been coloring my hair for years and this always works for me.

Applying on roots is not gud

2- Does prolonged use has ssome effects on the face w.r.t. the blackening the face skin or near the application area of dye
I have blond hair and I'm about to dye it black. I have green eyes so I think they'll stand out more with darker hair.

I had done my hair colored by loreal from salon.. I got itapplied from salon. Does coloring increases whites? Or turn black hair into white?
I once used brown shade of the same product on my virgin black hair, but never encountered much difference. The colours only worked pretty well on bleached hair. So is this hair a virgin one?
+Ninna Hi! We have tried this hair color on virgin hair and the results turned out to be fabulous as you can see in the video. So you don’t have to worry about the color not showing on your hair. Go in for a light brown or burgundy shade. Hope this helps!

I"m amazed she doesn't have hot roots. You always start with mids and ends then roots. Because the roots process faster due to the warmth from your scalp.

this is like a year late but i have pretty dark hair too and wanted to dye it. instead of bleaching and using burgundy dye, i used bright red hair dye and my hair darkened it, making it a burgundy- try it, it might work!
Try streax it won't disappoint you..... i have tried loreal, majirel, garnier n godrej but my fave is streax.... 90% it will give u what it claims

Because I'm trying to dye my hair for the first time ever and when I went to Sally's Beauty Supply the lady did not give me one of those applicator brush thingies, so now I pissed because I have to do my hair tonight for tomorrow morning. But, you're saying that I can just slather it on like shampoo, which now gives me hope!

Anaika Shaikh Entertainment World thats because you need to bleach black Hair first. No colour can be used for dark black hair. I have no idea how it worked for her. But bleacHing is important.
If it isn’t working for you and you have dark hair, it’s because you need to bleach your hair first. A color that’s lighter than your hair won’t show.

You actually don't start with your roots ... You need to leave the roots for last. If there is any breakage from leaving it on too long or something it won't break at the root.
