    I use the Neutrogena and la roche posay one on my face. 40% and 30% glycerin is better than any hyaluronic acid. It's marketed as a hand cream but it doesn't matter

      Oh man the milia that I would get if I did this. Cicaplast is amazing for dry skin though.

      It is not better than any HA! It is more suitable for you! Sometimes glycerin works better on me and, sometimes, other humectants work better.

      @@lauren8627 It's water based since the moisture comes from the glycerin not any oils and fat's. I actually have a BIG milia problem so that's funny to me 😂

      @@Tttt28882 Glycerin actually gets into skin and gets moisturize from small blood vessels and stays there. It's also longer lasting in the skin so you don't get dry quickly. Hyaluronic acid may work for you in your humid climate.

    Eucerin with urea is the best hand cream I've ever tried. Period. I even use it for my heels. Works like a charm.

    A tip from someone I know who works with cement for landscaping is to put on the Norwegian thick Ointment on your hands & then put on the disposable latex gloves right before bedtime. Sleep with that on, take it off in the morning and wash hands. 😉

    I get chronic dry, cracked and bleeding hands in winter. The best I’ve found so far are the Neutrogena Norwegian one and the Cerave reparative one. Wish I could find a cruelty free one though!

    I love Working Hands Cream. I feel like it sinks in relatively quickly and feels like it creates almost a seal on my hands to hold moisture in.

      There is a German foundation that tests all kinds of products. It’s called “Stiftung Warentest”. I don’t know about this creme specifically, but Eucerin got an f multiple times. And mind you they do give out d’s and c’s, so they had to be really bad.
      My dermatologist recommended one to me which got an f, so I switched to another dermatologist, and got a different recommendation..

    I use the La roche Posay hand cream as my face moisturiser since at least a year. It’s the best moisturiser you can find.

    Ive been using Neutrogena hand cream since the 80s...i use it everywhere...even as a under eye cream....i also use a smidget on my face in the winter...when i buy it...i get 3 at a time....its a phenomenal product.❤

    I love all of them but I really wish they have a smaller version for small purse. The only reason I stick with l'occitane hand cream is for the size

    Hello Dr. Dray. Just a quick question. Which one is better, Neutrogena hand cream or their cica hand cream? I want a hand cream that's intense in keeping my hands moisturized this winter but doesn't make me feel greasy or sticky

    I have some sensory issues so most lotions are a no for me. I can’t have anything that I can feel on my skin, that doesn’t absorb, or that feels greasy. So I use gold bond lotions because they absorb fully and don’t leave greasiness behind. It’s the best. (Vanicream is good too but doesn’t beat it.)

    I use Vaseline at night and argan oil during the day. My hands get so dry during thr winter.

    The LRP mains is good stuff. The Trader Joe’s cream is good for maintenance with Shea butter.

    been loving using LRP cicaplast b5-baume layered with vaseline and cotton moisturizing gloves for the hand eczema I've been going through since starting accutane

    The absolute best hand cream I've ever found is Dr. Greenfield Hand Shield. It absorbs completely, is thoroughly moisturizing and fragrance free. I've been using it for 30 years.

      That’s what my kid’s Pediatrician told me yesterday! We were there for his well visit so I asked about his hands which he had showed me while sitting in the waiting room. My son’s hands are cracked, red, scaley they’re so chapped it looks painful. Going out to buy Aquaphor & LRP or Neutrogena today to try different ones to see what works best for him. Thanks!

    Yup I can confirm the Eucerin Advanced Repair Hand Cream is AMAZING!
    My hands have always been like sand paper, literally. They are always SO freaking dry like the damn desert, even in the summer. It doesn't matter what climate or time of year.....but after using the Eucerin hand cream for a while now, my hands have completely changed.

      IMO it's good for preventative maintenance (helps prevent moisture loss especially from washing hands or using hand sanitizer) but once your hands are already dry, you need something much stronger.

    I have a sensory thing where i cannot handle the feeling of oil stripped, non-moisturized skin on my hands touching the air. It feels like sensory hell for me. So any and every single time my hands touch water I HAVE to have to have to put cream of any type on & have been since I was a kid. I have extremely soft, young looking hands lol my hands look younger than the rest of me

    The best ever handcream I've used is du'it tough hands. I work all day at a butchers shop and florist so my hands are cracked beyond you can imagine. This cream will help heal them within 24 hours. Believe me try it

      It's not necessary but if you have issues with dry hands then it'll help more then using a body lotion. Sunscreen has a dif purpose then a hand cream but it's good to apply

      I think that's just an expression she used that means "not to be ignored," or "not to be forgotten." There would be no reason you couldn't wear hand cream to bed literally.

    Hey Dr Dray, how would one go about layering sunscreen and Vaseline if possible. I love using Vaseline now that the weather is getting drier especially in the mornings but I’m not sure how or if Vaseline would interfere with my sunscreen protection.

      😢 I suffer from dyshidrotic eczema and like urea moisturizers. They most likely will burn though a bit initially. The eucerin essential oil doesn't though I have my ig in my description with my recs! Lmk if you have ?s!

      "Not to be slept on" means "don't ignore it" It's a phrase she uses on products she likes that most people wouldn't think twice about.

    Is it okay to use petroleum jelly on my feet? I am looking for something, a cream, gel or even feet mask any product that would hydrate the skin because I noticed the skin on my feet drying especially on the ankle area

      Yes, of course you can put it on your feet. You can literally put it all over your body, including your face. So of course you can put it on your feet. It works wonders. Lather Vaseline all over your feet and put on socks and go to sleep like that. Works wonders.

    I personally do not recommend that la roche posay cica handcream. Did nothing for me. Would rather slather my hands in baby oil or nivea creme.

      She can't, she's not in India. I like the minimalist moisturizer with ceramides for dry skin. Size is tiny though. They need to make a body version or a larger size

      The phone or computer you are watching this on, has raw materials mined by slaves in third world countries.

      Same with the food you eat….regardless if it’s an animal product or not.
