Aveeno Baby Eczema lotion and balm i bought for my son who gets very dry skin but not true eczema. And now I share it with him since I’ve developed some eczema on my ankles. Fantastic for dry skin and eczema. So moisturizing, love.
I use the bioderma shower oil, it's amazing and altho anti-irratant it does have a light scent I love but folks should know. Also if you're on a budget - it DOES come in smaller sizes, so if you can't do the $30, they also have a $9, and $20 size. Luckily, a little of this oil goes a long way, so it will last a long time no matter the size. ❤
Would you say that it could work as a first cleanse to remove sunscreen? I have a good oil cleanser for my face, but the bottle is small and it won’t last if I’m using it in the entire body. Do you think that this Bioderma product would work in that scenario?
@@Soireb I use it for body primarily (I use la Roche-Posey products on face most times). Although you can definitely use it in face also. However, you use it on wet skin, unlike a face oil cleanser, so if you're trying to use it on dry skin for the oil massaging first, it's not meant for that, but does definitely remove sun screen and makeup regardless
@@justRoRo Thank you for replying. I definitely want it for the body. I’m between Puerto Rico and Florida, so I use sunscreen on the body too. I have a face oil cleanser that i like but it is also about $30 in such a small bottle, that if I use it for the body too it will become extremely expensive to buy. So I’m looking for a body alternative.
@@Soul_midwife_tarot my comment was for people who literally can not afford to spend $30 but can afford $10. ESPECIALLY for something they've never tried before and don't know how their skin will react or even if they like it, they may not have a "spare" $30 to waste for a month and my comment is helpful. If that doesn't apply to you, that's fine, then it wasn't meant for you or your budget. If you have problem skin, but are also low income, those options matter when trying a new product.
Bioderma Shower [Oil] is my #1 loved product. I have a box of eczema/anti-itch products, all of which I use at any time everyday. I've almost scratched my feet off at the ankles; gone to town gone to town on fingers, palms of my hands. I use Bioderma for handwashing and showers.
PSA if you have KP and compulsively pick at it, Amlactin will sting. Urea doesn’t, though, in my experience. I really like Cetaphil’s Rough and Bumpy lotion. It definitely cuts down on the number and size of pick-able spots, so I’m less likely to pick.

I am huge on looking into ingredients etc... And I'm cheap lol so for my severe kp I purchase a lactic acid lotion being as that's the main ingredient used. 2 big bottles for like $12. I also do not bother with special soaps and scrubs for kp because it's literally going down the drain. Good scrub gloves and a non clogging, moisturing etc wash or scrub does the job.
you're so pretty and has a good vibe. Just found your channel by accident. I always have eczema and long term scars from it. Im quite late on the body care part coz I mostly focus on my face care but I guess I can still start now
I am really enjoying the Gold Bond retinol lotion - the texture is light, it's unscented, and a tube is $13. It's effective, too. I find retinol works well on my KP as well as on crepey skin.
So glad I watched as I have been mixing my Differen lotion with my body cream to apply to my creepy skin areas and now I find I am rendering my retinol ineffective! I appreciate your professional knowledge as I got the idea from a utuber with no credentials 😱
Could you do a short vid? On what type of body scrubbers to use? Like a wash cloth aloofa bath brush, you know what I'm trying to say? Like what's the best tool for people with Eczema to wash their body with again? I know we've been overproducts, but like should you use alufa a scrub, a sponge, a wash cloth, what do you recommend?
(KP) I've tried the Amlactin and finished the tub but oof that smell. It made me not use it regularly so not a great option for me. Definitely trying the other options though!
Can you do a video on body sunscreens? Feel like there aren’t any good sunscreen for the body. Since I have a lot of good facial sunscreens I’ve just been using those for my body but that uses up a lot of sunscreen so it’s not sustainable
Ameliorate lotion is another great option for KP. It has been the only thing that I've used that through consistent usuage that decreased my level of KP and skin started feeling smoother! It can be bought at Boots in the UK but I think online in the US as well.
Yoo just wanted to share something that cured my acne on back and butt, I basically just use the glycolic acid toner from the Ordinary and put the toner in a spray bottle. Simply dry the concerned areas completely after showering, spray and massage the toner into the skin and let it dry for a couple minutes before putting clothes on. Additionally you can follow up with a moisturizer after the toner has dried on the skin if your that dehydrated, but the toner itself contains some hydrating an soothing ingredients too, so there was no need for me to follow up with a moisturizer.
For KP, I love love love ameliorate transforming body lotion. It is surprisingly rarely mentioned in kp videos and I don’t understand why because it is awesome! It really works, my skin is now so smooth, and also it is so delicate for my sensitive skin and very moisturising too. I swear by it. I can’t believe still the effect that it had on my KP. Alternatively Cerave SA smoothing cream is effective too but a little aggressive in my opinion. It makes me peel all over. Ameliorate never does
I think it's hardly mentioned because they don't sell it in stores for people that live in the US. It is only easily available in the EU from what I have heard.
Goat milk soap and unscented cream like vanicream or cerave cream helped keep my keratosis Pilaris away. I never use a scrub. I just use a Korean loofah once a week with the goat milk soap.
My skin doesn't handle physical exfoliation and ends up aggravating my KP and skin's dryness. My KP has been noticeably improving with using a toner/ essence and immediately following with a retinol body moisturiser mixed with some raw shea or cocoa butter I'll be trying an Amlactin lactic acid body cream soon - my face loves lactic acid but oddly glycolic acid has no effect on my skin at all - hoping lactic acid helps my KP as well.
Curious if you’ve tried applying it but not utilizing the ‘scrub’ feature. Essentially applying it, let it sit on skin for ten minutes. Then rinsing it off. I do this to avoid accidental over exfoliation. Get the benefits without harming uppermost layer of skin.
please please please do a video on treating ingrown hairs (specifically on the bikini line) i know you did one on prevention but what do you once you have them or scaring left over from them

I don't really get how cellulite is the first thought when it comes to anti aging for the body... I would have thought loss of skin elasticity, crepiness etc. would be the main concerns. Body creams are really lacking in targeted and active treatments especially here in Australia. I haven't found one that actually does anything other than moisturise (which is great but i want to treat my body like I do my face). I've started using tret once a week on my upper body and booty... so far my skin is tolerating it.
I have a lot of itching on my body but it's not eczema and the redness comes and go away naturally, all the doctors I went could never guess what it is. I use the Bioderma oil and Isdin Ureadin Bath Gel (but the texture is actually of a cream) for showering and afterwards I use Cerave or Fisiogel body lotion and it helps a lot with the itching.

It is much better now after a bland skin care routine of gentle cleanser and vaseline. Is it possible for you to do a video on how I return to my skin care routine, and what should be the process, for example, incorporate one product per week and see how my skin tolerates each product? And include different skin tone and type especially Indian skin please
Love love love your videos everytime ❤
Hello Shereene! Could I ask you for a vegan skincare video? I struggle to find products that are effective and good but are vegan. I look up to you and respect you so much so, you are my refferent in this field, so I cannot ask anybody else than you. Lots of love!!!!!
I’ve been using the slather you show on the stubborn KP I have on the backs of my thighs…it’s been a game changer!
Awesome as always, I learn too much!! Thank you.
Can you do a video on ichthyosis vulgaris??? This condition isn't normally talked about. I would like to learn more about why we get it and how to treat it. Thank you!
Your hair is so shiny and healthy looking. Please let us know what products you’re using. Thanks ❤
Love your videos. Any chance you can change the camera setting so when you hold up products we can read them? I know they’re linked below but it’s helpful to be able to see them the right way. Thanks!
We need deep dive into cellulite and stretch marks. Also I would love to here your honest opinion on Bader rangeAs always great video 😘
you're so pretty and has a good vibe. Just found your channel by accident. I always have eczema and long term scars from it. Im quite late on the body care part coz I mostly focus on my face care but I guess I can still start now
Can you make a separate video on stretch marks? What kind of laser treatment? Can it be done in the early 20's; is it affordable? etc.
I am really enjoying the Gold Bond retinol lotion - the texture is light, it's unscented, and a tube is $13. It's effective, too.
I find retinol works well on my KP as well as on crepey skin.
Can you do a budget skincare routine from a drugstore like cvs pls? Love your videos!
Shereene you have to try retinol and glycolic body creams for the body pf Paula’s choice. I have been loving them 🙏🙏
Would love to see an episode discuss luxe brands such as Augustinus Bader, Biologique Recherche etc Are they worth the price??
Wow your skin looks amazing! What an improvement
Aaslam u Aalikum peace be upon you doc kindly make a video on body pigmentation that thanks for this one ❤
TYSM for the ingredient and product breakdown!
Thank God I came across your channel! I need the backne info. Thank you’
So glad I watched as I have been mixing my Differen lotion with my body cream to apply to my creepy skin areas and now I find I am rendering my retinol ineffective! I appreciate your professional knowledge as I got the idea from a utuber with no credentials 😱
Hi!! Can you do a video on face care for us old women in our 60’s please!!! ❤
You next range should be exact same setup but for sensitive skin
PHA please
I love, love, the Augustinus Bader cream. Im saving for a big jar. ❤
Ameliorate never does
I was about to purchase the ameliorate just to try it - I don't have KP but seems a nice product! I have the body wash and it's nice too!
I think it's hardly mentioned because they don't sell it in stores for people that live in the US. It is only easily available in the EU from what I have heard.
@@cancelyoursubcription oh I didn’t know! I’m from Europe in fact
I wish ameliorate was available in North America. I used to be able to order it from look fantastic but they stopped sending it for some reason.
@@patriciayoung6134it looks like Dermstore has it
Goat milk soap and unscented cream like vanicream or cerave cream helped keep my keratosis Pilaris away. I never use a scrub. I just use a Korean loofah once a week with the goat milk soap.
My skin doesn't handle physical exfoliation and ends up aggravating my KP and skin's dryness.
My KP has been noticeably improving with using a toner/ essence and immediately following with a retinol body moisturiser mixed with some raw shea or cocoa butter
I'll be trying an Amlactin lactic acid body cream soon - my face loves lactic acid but oddly glycolic acid has no effect on my skin at all - hoping lactic acid helps my KP as well.
Did you try Amlactin? I'm considering buying it because I'm fed up with my KP, but I've heard that it doesn't work that well
Curious if you’ve tried applying it but not utilizing the ‘scrub’ feature. Essentially applying it, let it sit on skin for ten minutes. Then rinsing it off. I do this to avoid accidental over exfoliation. Get the benefits without harming uppermost layer of skin.
please please please do a video on treating ingrown hairs (specifically on the bikini line) i know you did one on prevention but what do you once you have them or scaring left over from them
What helped me was using cotton underwear when I sleep- or whenever im not out- it helps the area breathe and less likely to have friction/ I grow a (especially after shaving or wax removal)
I've been using the walmart brand of panoxyl in the am on my face while I'm brushing my teeth. I think this one thing has really helped the number of breakouts I get. Thank you so much for this tip way back when you mentioned it the first time!!
Thanks very much for this one. Great info as usual. All the bottles you showed were mirrored. I am good at reading that way but maybe not everyone is
Dr. thank you for that video. For eczema castel soap is great! And for KP a gluten free diet solves the problem! 🙏👌
Please do skincare for diabetics. My dad is diabetic and I want to get him products good for him. ❤
Please do a video on how to deal with body acne when you also have eczema 🙏 all the acne treatments dry my skin out
Can the HA help with old stretch marks as well?? I had never heard this before! how exciting
Hey Dr. Idris, I have KP on the back of my arms and sometimes on the top of my thighs. I love Paula’s choice, BHA body lotion in the big purple tube.❤ often you can get a 20% off if you get on their email, but it’s gentle it works for me and it is fragrance free
Thanks for all your videos, Dr Shereene! I am a new subscriber. I'm 58 and have had eczema since 6 weeks old.
Do you know what causes it? I am a bit late getting into anti-aging but what do you recommend for the face when prone to eczema? Are the usual things ok? Vit C, Retinols, Niacinamide, Ceramides, AHA's or PHA's? It'd be lovely if you could do a video on anti-aging facial routines especially for eczema sufferers. Thank you.
Yes! A body care video!
GIRL WHY YOU ARE SO GORGEOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Love your videos! I will definitely be trying some recommended products :) I would
Love some advice on fading dark spots from ingrown hair!
After i follw you i learn a lot of amazing things!!! In summer when i use to shave my legs every day, i have KP. I tried last week with homemade scrub with glicolc acid, then i use wax and i buying cerave with 10% urea. Its work!!!❤
Would like to see some hair care videos!!
I use the Bioderma oil and Isdin Ureadin Bath Gel (but the texture is actually of a cream) for showering and afterwards I use Cerave or Fisiogel body lotion and it helps a lot with the itching.
all of those have FRAGRANCE in them omg...
@@baciperugina836 The Cerave and Fisiogel don't have fragrance (the Brazilian formulas at least) and the other ones are specific for atopic skin. Anyway, I'm sharing what works for me, maybe is not for everyone but maybe it will work for someone else.
@@baciperugina836 Not all fragrances bother everyone.
Could be caused high histamine or fatty liver
@@parinazaz4044 I take antihistamines for my rhinitis and in my last blood tests and ultrasound didn't show anything on the liver but I will double check with my doctors this August, thanks for the info!
I noticed the head and shoulders shampoo helped my KP as a body wash. What are your thoughts about it? ❤
Thank you for your informative videos, I really have learnt a great deal. I have recently recovered from a damaged skin barrier on my face. It is much better now after a bland skin care routine of gentle cleanser and vaseline. Is it possible for you to do a video on how I return to my skin care routine, and what should be the process, for example, incorporate one product per week and see how my skin tolerates each product? I believe now I was using too many products all at once and my skin just said 'that's enough'. I know that now, but I don't know how to go about returning to a skin care routine, I am scared about returning to that irritated, dry, itchy, inflamed skin. I have dry mature skin, I am 57. Any ideas would be great😊
This past week, I started using Verse GENTLE RETINOL BODY LOTION on my arms (for crepiness), for the pure retinol. Does my body skin also need a chemical exfoliant such as Paula's Choice Skin Revealing Body Lotion 10% AHA, also for reeling-in aging on my arms (mainly) and legs? Your video posting only four hours ago is perfect timing! (And I am contemplating if I can pull-off wearing in Colorado your Bluestone Sunshields visors.) My wide-brim hat collection is huge - from Sunday Afternoon (that covers my neck), Solabari, Coolibar - but they do not shield my face when the sun is low; only when directly overhead. Thank you for all that you do!
I have a video suggestion if it has not already been done: body/scalp skin care for psoriasis esp winter flare ups
Gold Bond has a new body retinol that’s great
