I’ve got Glock 43 20 and 29 , love them all , the 20 is a little heavy to carry , 29 is perfect, plus it’s pretty comforting knowing I’ve got that much power at my disposal if needed , small enough to conceal carry , good choice!
It's 2 years later ------ have you traded the 29 for a 20 and put a 9 inch Lone Wolf barrel on it YET? BUT it is nice to have 357Magnum power in an auto!

Thank you brother me too. I made this video a few months ago and I’ve grown to love it. Only thing that sucks is. I train a lot especially with the pistols I carry and it’s hard to train as much as I do with the price of 10mm rounds so high
I had the Glock 19 gen4 , traded it to a good friend , who wanted it really bad ( during Covid when no Glock 19 to be found ) , he traded me a new condition sp101 .357 Mag 2.2” spurless hammer DA snub that I absolutely love! and he gave me $250 cash to sweeten the deal. I then bought the Glock 26 gen5 , Glock 40MOS and the much beloved and hard to find Glock 29 . If I could only have one gun it would be my Glock 29 ! I use and recommend the Alien Gear holster rigs , I use the “ Shape Shift” and have the appendix carry rig and IWB double clip rig that I ware at 4 O’clock position. Shooting my Glock 29 then shooting my Glock 34 , the g34 9mm feels like a .22lr round ! 😝 I’d never sell this gun! Again , not easy to find! 🤩😜✌️
It truly is a great pistol. I just wish it had more support. Since it’s not very popular it’s hard to find parts holsters etc not impossible but not easy. Also 10mm ammo is very expensive so to train with it ( Wich is most important for me out of anything ) puts a dent in your pocket .
@@civiliantactical2007 yeah 10mm ammo is a bit pricey but not as much as .38+p or .357Mag ammo so I train most with my Glock 9mm then shoot less with my 10mm to keep cost down , shooting Glock handguns I find training with one carry’s right over to the other no problem. Deals are coming back on 10mm so keep a look out ! 🤩✌️
I’m not sure the 29 would fit in my bear paw but I’ll probably get one to complete the trio, I have the G20 and G40 with a KKM precision barrel and compensator. Good to see you can get the 15 rnd mags to fit the G29, I had to do the same thing with my XDM Elite 10mm.
@@Deloreco Arguably the BEST bar-stock barrel upgrade in the industry. KKM Precision. Look them up. A must have if you intend to shoot hard cast bullets in your Glock 👍 Notwithstanding the KKM has much more supported chamber at the barrel throat as well. Spend the $200 , you will NOT be sorry 🤠 PS; Unwise to shoot hard cast bullets from any factory Glock barrel. You will have folks tell you otherwise but it's not advisable 💯% Hope this helps 👍
@@DelorecoI went with the Alpha Wolf barrel to shoot hard cast as well. Loving the Alpha Wolf barrel, they are in all three of my Glock 10mm’s, 20, 29,and 40. McNally flat face trigger assemblies as well.
@@civiliantactical2007 underwood was a dollar to a dollar fifty, before the pandemic, and I'm still paying that. The sellier&bellot I'm like you shot I'm getting for 29 bucks for 50 rounds. A little more than 9mm but not a dollar a round.
That 29 is a great platform. I do recommend buying a KKM barrel. That barrel gives you the option of shooting hard cast bullets. Hard cast is great for hunting and large predator defense. You can also convert to 40 caliber and 357 Sig with the swap of a barrel. The 10mm mags will hold the rounds. KKM also makes a longer barrel if you genuinely want to use the gun for hunting. Buffalo Bore and Underwood make the best 10mmm ammo, both for self defense and hunting. That pinky extension was also a great throw in. If you really want to go all out, you can also have the slide milled and get suppressed height sights. Either way, you made a good trade. You also hooked that guy up with the 19 and all the extras. Good job 👍🏽
@@civiliantactical2007 Like you said, it is a unit. I should have specified that you need barrels specific to the caliber of you are going to change to 40 or 357 Sig. You can’t just use one barrel. People always say they shoot 40 cal out of the 10mm barrel with no problem, but I read that it is not the best thing to do because the round isn’t fully supported enough and it puts extra wear on the extractor. Once you swap the barrel to the specific caliber, that is not an issue. All three of the rounds share the same diameter case, but the length is what is different. Hence why you should get caliber specific barrels. I’ve also heard that Lone Wolf barrels are not that good, that is why KKM is the go to.
@user-nu3qc3of9d The .40 S&W is .142″ shorter than the 10mm Auto on average for in spec ammo. In case you do not know what headspace is, it is the distance measured from the part of the chamber that stops the forward motion of the cartridge to the breechface. With the .40 S&W being so short, the case mouth never reaches the beginning of the chamber and thus it headspaces off the extractor. I am not saying if you inadvertently run a few .40 S&W rounds through your 10mm you will have immediate issues. this is all based on prolonged use over time.
Get some full power 10mm most off the shelf 10mm is under powered and you will see a big difference.... 10mm is the ultimate power in the universe...🤙🤙
Not all is underpowered. A lot of it is though. Those sellier&bellots he was shooting are on the lower end of power. It's still a little more powerful than 40s&w, but it's not hot by a long shot. The lowest power load I'm comfortable with is sig v-crown. Not super hot, but upper end of medium power. I have lots of underwood and doubletap, and that's my hot stuff.
